You mean to say ifvwe port samsung grant rom to mi-530 will it accept will it not brivk the mi-530. Several places I red this mkt6577 hardware model is more prone fir bricking and IMIE may not function

imei is not a big issue u just root ur phone & use mobile uncle tool to take bacup of ur imei no. then store that .bak file to ur sd card or save it on a safe place for future.
as u lost ur imei u can use mobile uncle tool for restore it. it ask for reboot then do that & get restored ur imei no.

To get your stock recovery.img you will first need to determine which partition is the /recovery partition. To do this please run the following command as root from adb shell and please post the result:

Hi, Akshay if your phone is under 7 day of buying date than you can claim the replacement of the phone at the spice customer care near to you...
I also faced this problem and now i am using the replaced Spice Coolpad mi-515.

Hey, You Tried this Cwm recovery on your phone......
Because I am using my second spice mi-515 I bricked the first one and claimed for a replacement and thank god they Provided me a replacement....

well i actually heard a news about micromax has announced 4.4 kitkat update for micromax canvas series and a110 is also one of them . so i just want to know how to get back my original rom and all that ,
currently i m using CanvaS4 rom ...so anyone can help me...
