Thanks but those are modified stock roms and I'm looking for full stock with root, no customization or add ons.

Found this when I "bricked" my razr an needed to restore to stock...
Just make sure when you choose the stock rom file (xml) that you are choosing the one for your phone.

looks very interesting, never tried it, but i already had success with the one i recommended, i think this one has only one build, and you still have to install motorola official drivers. I would go with RSD lite.... sincei`m already used to it lol

I was trying to restore my phone back to my stock rooted rom. I was able ot get into safestrap and go thru the data wipe, cache wipe, format system then wiped delvik cache as I was told by a freind. (hope this is right) Well after all that i found that the backup a had created months ago isn't there any more. So I selected to rreboot system. Got safestrap splash screen then nothing. Phone won't boot past the safestrap screen. So I figured I could just find and load a stock rooted rom. I have a few questions though...
The link posed above had 3 files for the razr mmxx. Are these files for use with RSD lite? Where can i find the files to load onto my sd card and then restore from? Can i just load my SD card with the zip and install?
Also, I'm starting to get interested in custom roms.. do I need to go thru and do all those wipes and formatting before I can restore a new rom?

mistakely deleted my os........on droidmaxx xt912 using safestrap..........pls i need help......wat am i to do next
Hi guys, I was wondering if I could get some help.

I currently have pongster's Hyperdroid GBX v12 rom installed on my T-mobile HTC HD2 and since I am running into some issues like force closes and being unable to change the LCD density through "build.prop" as it is a read only file, I was wondering if I could reflash the same rom over the new one.

Of course u can do this
But remember back up your dataaa!!!!
Go to samfirware.com check your phone and chose a firmware
Download Odin Multidownloader and reflash the stock rom
If you get a bootloop after flashing go to the recovery mode and whipe data/cash
then restart the phone

If you dont know about the flashing procedure and if odin is a unknown word for u u should inform urselfe before
here in xda youll find a tutorial for sure

first I need to apologize for my bad english I'm not a native speaker.
I installed MIUI v3.1.18 on my Motorola Razr and I want to get back on CM10. Of course I did not made a Nandroid Backup and I'm now sort of frightened to change the ROM. Is there somewhere a guide for that case or can you help me?

E2: think it would be the best for me to get back on stock JB. due MIUI is ICS based, is it a problem to flash directly to stock JB?
just use the fastboot files and rsd lite back to stock and start over again from scratch

Ok, but is it possible to go directly to JB? Or do I need to get back to ICS and use an OTA Update for JB?

I am totally stuck and need some help. I didn't have my phone for about six months and now that I have it back I just want it back to stock or some form of Jelly bean on it. Right now I am stuck on the Motorola boot screen and can only get in to recovery. I rooted with matt's utility. I tried flashing the official update files from Verizon, and I tried flashing cm10 from the forum. After I flashed cm10 it showed a message that it would only work on ROM slot 1 so I formatted ROM slot 1 and flashed it on there as well. Now it won't boot at all. Is there any ROM that I can easily flash and will get me back up and running again. I'm not good at adb so I would prefer something I can flash from SD?
Try flashing different rom on slot 1 like liquid smooth or rage rom . Let us know if it works , if not will look out for something else

I'm not sure how to do that if I can only access the stock recovery options???
buddy u have to RSD lite u have only access to stock recovery so u can't do anything so better RSD ie flash firmware and then root and get a recovery like SS or BMM....
Hey guys,
i have a problem with my phone (Droid Razr, XT910 with Stock Android 4.1.2).
Today I decided to root my phone and install a custom rom.
At first I got root, then I have rebooted my phone and everything workes OK.
After that I installed RazrTouchBlack.apk and clicked on "Install Clockworkmod touch" and afterwards "reboot cwm touch".
The phone made a reboot and i backed up my system with the backup function in cwm.
Then i did a reboot and the Error "Encryption unsuccessful" occurs:
I tried to use the "Reset phone" function but after the next reboot the same error occurs again.
At next I tried to open the "Recovery" but that screen comes up:
After hours of searching the Net I haven't any idea anymore.
May someone help me?

How can i get CWM to work?
I tried RazrTouchBlack.apk and RazrBootstrap.apk
Is this "Encryption" a Feature/Bug which can be turned off?
Avoid using CWM.
Use Safestrap or BMM instead.

Safestarp is better then cwm but if still ya want cwm just use bootstrap to install cwm . Thats pretty easier

I also tried Android Razr HD Utility and sometimes it allows me to use my phone, but whenever I have to reboot it, it goes straight to the AP fastboot screen.
I've tried to flash an ICS ROM just to restart it all, but it says my phone is locked and I can't flash it.
And if I can choose to go to recovery, appears this screen with android and the red triangle, like a dead end.
I'm a complete noob, but I can follow the steps, hehehe. If you could help me out here, and point me some tutorial to get out of this mess, I will apreciate.

to restore your phone you have to restart from a clean installation from rsd .. Here

When you are on clean JB follow this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257137 to root your phone and install BMM from market.
OK now you have your phone rooted and with custom recovery and you can install every ROM do you want! Enjoy!

I managed to flash a stock Moto JB ROM back to my phone and I was wondering how to root it again.
Nick, yes. I was using RDS Lite and I finally did it. I don't know exactly what I did differently. But it worked.
Now I am wondering If I should try again to flash MIUI or if I will stick to this lousy Motorola ROM.
Should I?

I have used for so long the MIUI on my old DHD first and on the RAZR later, and i can say that is not the best rom ever, because it's based on stock kernel. yes you can change UI, manage options etc but if the kernel is the same I think is not a good job. I can reccomend the CM. The 10.1 is JB 4.2.2 based and it's stable version, the 10.2 is JB 4.3 based and it's a nightlies, but i run the last one and use it for daily use with the JBX Kernel with no problem. Try and give a look on the development thread there are a lot of roms that you can try!
