Rom closest to stock JB? - Motorola Droid RAZR

Anyone know which rom I should use, If I want to have my phone as close to stock as possible but with some tweaks?

AOKP build 4. It is 4.2.2 and the RAZR is now officially supported, here is the link/:

Sorry, I meant stock JB for the RAZR with Motoblur

Then you could use the jelly bean leak or wait until the ota

I'm not looking for it to be completely stock, just for it to be a ROM with the stock look and feel, but with some tweaks like extended power menu, status bar toggles, etc.

There are already some custom rom working on ics. See miui, unofficial cm9 and aokp and clean aosp. there are on droidhive.
Only the gsm don't have much
I agree. Wait for Kexec, bypass for custom kernels (that's how I understand it). If he gets that up and running, errr when he gets that up and running, we will probably have JB roms floating around. Give it time, and you will receive all (hopefully) the custom roms that you can handle.

I agree with the others, why would anybody want to wait for Samsung butchered jb when you can have it now pretty much stock as Google intended. I'm waiting till they get a little bit more complete / stable then jumping ship!

YOU WILL NOT GET ANY UPDATES IF YOU ARE ROOTED... stock rom or not if you are rooted then no more ota updates.. you will have to just install by flashing your rooted phone.

I agree with you on waiting for a stable release. I need something I know will work, but I'm very excited that CM has moved to JB so quickly.
The only OTA update I need is a download of my next custom ROM.

There's no way to port that over. It requires TW framework and libs which cannot be ported over because it is very different.

CM10 > Samsung in general. I had to briefly flash back to my stock Samsung ICS nandroid backup today after running CM10 for the past 5 days, and it seemed incredibly slow and choppy compared to CM10. I was blown away at the difference.

[Q] Best JellyBean 4.2.2 rom?

What is the best Vibrant jb 4.2 rom?:cyclops::cyclops:
Its a matter of an opinion. Slim bean is nice and small. Cyanogenmod well its pretty much the original. Avatar is the ROM that is not only extremely customizable (miui) it also can have have ota updates. Root box(my port) is fast and pretty stable with built in pie. Cyanaosp(also my port) is meant for gaming and runs hardcore games pretty well. If I left any ROMs out I'm sorry I just named what came to my head
If I helped you, hit the thanks button!

Install rom on stock slot?

I was wondering can I install a rom kexec on the stock slot with Safestrap?

Mostly ur RAZR will brick coz my Frnd did the same and bricked anyway he fixed it by flashing stock

Yes. A lot of people do it.

What kexec roms are compatible with stock slot using safestrap?
CM builds after 8/30 works.
All other ROMs that use the CM source should also work.
Its better you decide what ROM you need and see the specific thread.

Just curious, as I've seen this request before, why would you want to overwrite you're stock? Instead of leaving it unused as a safety? Keeps you from having to rsd back in the event of a... catastrophic failure. Haha.

Because I like roms better then stock and Safestrap does not provide enough space on other slots.
