Disabling the light of HW buttons - HTC Desire X

Any ideas how to turn them off forever. By turning off I mean not disabling them, but turning their light off ( like it automatically does on the sun, or the bright light )
I hope I've chosen the right place for a topic. Thx for further help.

Question on disabling hw leds

I know there have been qurstions asked on this topic but i would like to ask if an app is able to disable this leds?
I personally hate those leds at night since its too darn bright when ive dimmed my screen. I recently stumbled across an app, Lightning Bug, which has a feature to turn off said leds. Unlike my screen filter, this app actually does disable the leds as long as i am in the app. Would it be possible to port this feature to the X10? Im no tech guy so i may be ignorant on this stuff. Hope someone can clarify.
Apologies if i double posted. XDA App FC during initial submission..

I use that app to turn the screen brightness down at night and also disable the ugly HW Leds.
Thx for replying but i already am using that app. Its not disabling the leds on my X10. Its updated and from haxor so its the same as yours.

Have you checked the option that disables the leds? Is set to let the leds on by default.
Dont worry, i did that. But my problem is solved. Thanks for your help. I tried reinstalling app, no help. So i reflashed my X10 and reinstalled. Now its working.

Click to collapse
Use night mode to switch of led bar... Install night mode... Go to settings... Check disable backlight buttons

[Q] Lockscreeen vibration

When I flashed some AOSP look-alike ROMS, I noticed my lockscreen vibrates when I unlock it. That doesn't really bother me too much but it is annoying when you have to support all those vibrations when you unlock the screen just check a message, etc. Does exist any solution how to disable it???

there should be option (settings - sound - vibrate feedback) in menu to disable haptic feedback (i have disabled it, cos it eats battery surprisingly)
Nope, allready tried

Download another lock screen? Think holo locker can turn it off.
Widgetlocker has this option too, but costs something...

Stock/rooted ICS Sense, way to disable soft key backlight?

My phone's softkeys have started to fail and as such, I've started using an on screen replacement. What I'd like to do now is make it so the backlight for the soft keys stays off, or even better, if I can somehow completely disable them from responding to touch as well... Maybe a build.prop edit or something? They work just sporadically enough to be annoying at this point...
I use root dim from the market. Sometimes you have to set it again, but works pretty well

Kernel Tuner allows you to adjust the brightness as well.
Cool thanks guys.
What app are you using to replace the soft keys, because I have the same problem.
