How to remove "Connected to wifi network xxxxx" message. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a hack to remove the message that pops up whenever my phone connects to my wifi network? I have the phone set to disconnect wifi when the screen goes off, so I always get the "Connected to wifi network xxxxxx" message when I wake my phone.
I know that there is a hack to remove the "Wifi Network Is Available" message but that is not what I am asking here. Any help is appreciated.

Getting WiFi Calling to work

Every ROM, every version of the WiFi Calling app, all do the same thing....
It will say "Enabling..." wait for a little while and come back with "Connection Error" at the bottom is "W006.15 ISP or T-Mobile Network Error"

[Q] Q: Stuck on "Airplane Mode" ?

Hi guys!
This happened to me suddenly. A few hours ago I was able to get signal from my carrier, but then I suddenly can't send and receive calls or text messages. I tried to do the Airplane mode switch to refresh my registration on the network, to no avail.
I rebooted my phone then I cannot get any signal from my carrier anymore. I checked my Wireless settings and Mobile networks is grayed off, with Airplane mode checkbox ticked. I enabled WiFi and it got WiFi, so its not really on airplane mode! Then I untick the Airplane mode checkbox, its stuck on "Enabling Wireless Connections". If I wait a few minutes I will get a signal (Airplane mode unticked) but it still cannot send and receive calls.
If I switch the sim to another phone, it sends and receives just fine.

Sorry to hear that. It seems like something is wrong with your phone's radio since sim switching didn't work. About the part you stated: "I enabled WiFi and it got WiFi, so its not really on airplane mode!", is not true. You can/are able to use WiFi even if airplane mode in enabled. I do it all the time. Have you tried going in the "call" settings and checking those, maybe configuring the cell broadcast settings? Do so and I hope you'll solve your problem by this way or otherwise.
I doubt there is a problem with the radio. It's probably just a bug with the ROM.
You should try a clean install to see if the problem disappears.

WI-FI connection

Anyone knows the settings for using WI-FI for downloads at home instead of the cell network?
you simply turn on Wifi, and give it your network password so it can connect, and as long as it is connected to WiFi it should not use the cellular network other than to notify you of texts or incoming calls

Mobile Hotspot Warning Notification

Is anyone getting the "Mobile Hotspot Warning" notification? I am with T-Mobile and get this notification whenever I turned on hotspot. This happens on my S2 and Note. Hotspot seems to be working fine however.

[Q] WiFi Calling causes FC

I've just done an RTN factory reset and cannot get wifi calling to work. If I try to enable it through the app, I get one of two things. The first if I try through settings or the wifi calling app is Connection error: Wi-Fi Calling cannot be configured because internet access has not been established. You may need to open your browser to sign into a Wi-Fi network. This shows up as a popup, and happens no matter which network I try (they all have Internet btw) The second option is a Settings FC when I try through the notification. Any ideas?
This was the first thing I've tried after the factory reset: no root or any custom apps.

I had an issue getting WiFi calling to work out of the box, here's how I fixed it.
- Forgot WiFi network I was trying to connect to
- Log onto my Sprint account and remove WiFi calling from my plan (click "Change my Services" from the drop down menu associated with the G3 then select the "remove" text next to VWDOM0 - Domestic Voice Over Wi-Fi Unlimited)
- Wait a few minutes and keep an eye on your phone; you'll receive a pop up saying "Changes Saved" or "Profile Updated". Something like that
- After I got the pop-up I entered ##SCRTN# in the dialer (phone will reboot and update profile)<----- (I have seen where ##UPDATE# works as well so maybe try both)
-Once my phone booted up and settled in I entered the WiFi Calling menu through the dialer app; I signed into my home network and went through the activation process to add WiFi calling to my phone
It worked for me after that. However it recently stopped working for me (last night) and all I had to do was enter ##UPDATE# to fix it

Tried it a few times. Guess I'll try calling and see if they can remove Wifi calling on their end to get it to work. I had a similar problem with GV in the past and they had to remove it on their end.
After calling and having Sprint remove wifi calling for me, it all seems to be working now after following @fergie716 's instructions.
