Hi,
I have a very weird problem on my Galaxy S3.
I bought my phone out of my country. It came with a ROM of Optus (brand of Australia).
I have changed the ROM by one ZTO (no brand) of Brazil.
Since before the change of the ROM, I saw a problem on this phone: the mute calls.
I had done everything, I don't know how solve. What was done:
- Changed the ROM to the original;
- Changed the MODEM for many others from Brazil, Australia, and other countries;
- Changed the ROM to a custom ROM (CyanogenMod, etc.);
- Changed the Kernel to many others, as Siyah, etc.);
Important Info:
- Skype and Viber calls works 100%;
- Videos have sound normally;
- 3G connection (Browser, Facebook, WhatsApp) works 100%;
- I receive and make calls, but without hearing and without being heard;
- If I open the link for the virtual keyboard and type in one of the numbers on the keyboard, it makes a noise keyboard, both for me as for the other people in line.
Current info of my phone:
Model: I9300
Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband Version: I9300UBELL1
Kernel Version: 3.0.31-Siyah-1.8.9+ [email protected] #7 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jan 15 07:39:27 PST 2013
Compilation Number: JZO54K.I9300UBEMA1
Sorry for my poor english, I'm from Brazil.
Thanks!

This is my first post so hello everyone. I got a sgs2 in china (where I currently live) couple of months ago and it came with no market app. After downloading one (actually I downloaded several version several times) I always get the same problem: I launch the app, it asks me if I want to associate an account and wether I press "yes" or "no", the app shuts down. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? I would like to download certain apps (like keyboard dictionaries and other stuff) and have never been able to (I'm a huge noob and this is my first smartphone).

Are not such capitalist exccesses like Android market blocked on China phones .
jje
lol
I know that market works on devices which have it preinstalled and when i contacted samsung via email they told me that the galaxy s2 supports access to the market but does not support the market apk (?_?). It might be a firmware problem, i don't know
I may be wrong but as i understand China firmware on your phone blocks market .

So if that's the case I have to change rom or firmware and get one where the market is a stock app? Would that do the trick?
Hello,
I have searched wide and far for a similar issue to that I am having and cannot find one. I am currently experiencing an issue with my i9300 which is causing it to play the caller's voice through the rear speaker instead of the earpiece, I may have changed a setting however I have reset the phone multiple times to no avail. Has anyone come across this issue (and fixed it) or should I get on to Samsung Warranty support?
Many thanks,
Christian

Hi!
So my S2 wont register on network anymore, It sometimes find a network but only if i have ROAMING enabled but it still not help.
the phone works fine on Wireless n such but not with a SIM-Card in it.
I have done these steps so bare with me:
Fully updated my Android versions
Restore to fabricated settings
Tried the APN settings, No luck
Tried the SIM in other phones, Work flawless.
Now my last hope is that maybe the problem lies in the phone's room, or something in that direction.
Btw this is a phone that has been sold and bought here in Norway but after a friend took it to thailand and got back from there the phone has'nt been working as intended.
Any thoughts?

Hi, recently ive updated to the very latest version of NEAT ROM, very good at that. Found WiFi Comms is more reliable and faster, just a bit.
I use an app called "Torque Pro" for diagnostics via Bluetooth on my Galaxy Sii i9100 (United Kingdom)
When I used to use the Lite version of NEAT ROM and a previous version the app worked great, but now with the new version of NEAT ROM im having issues talking/communicating with ECU`s on the car. I know the bluetooth dongle that plugs into the ECU Port on the car is working and communicating with the phone, but the communication link that is being esablished via particular car protocols being sent from the app via the dongle to the ECU dont work anymore.
This sounds like an APP problem, but its definitely not, and the dongle works when using it on another friend of mines Galaxy S2.
This is my configuration of my phone, can someone tell me if there is any problems with it:

Have i got the corret Modem, Kernel, Baseband?
Phone is fully connected to O2 UK, I also know the Kernel that was flashed is insecure too which i would like to change for a secure one and still be rooted.
Thanks for any help on this, its much appreciated.
Hello,
I've bought Korean Samsung Galaxy Note (KT version- SHV-E160K.
It has JB 4.2.1, rooted (already had SuperSu). It also has setting and apps from KT and some Illegal stuff.
I don't know if for example the seller didn't install some custom ROM, or he rooted this to unlock the phone (I live in Poland).
The *#1234# shows:
PDA: N7000ZSLO2
PHONE: E160SKSJLL7
MOVINAND NONE
Build Info: Wed Feb 13 16:58:41 KST 2013
However something What is "KT hidden menu" (you access it after dialing 319712358 and typing password 774632) shows a lot of Korean pre-sets and as for system:
H/W: E16.10
BOOT: E160KKKJMB1
PDA: N7000ZSLO2
PHONE: E160SKSJLL7
And the device info from settings givs us this KERNEL:
3.0.31-704944
[email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 13 16:51:33 KST 2013
Now getting to the problem(s):
- can't login, or even open or install anything from Samsung.
- can't install any SD card (doesn't see it);
- can't connect to KIES;
- very quiet microphone (callers feedback).
What can I do?
I've already hard reset the phone, reintaled ps drivers, downloaded korean drivers, etc.
HELP PLS!

You could try flashing a stock firmware through Odin, seems you have not done that yet. You can search for stock firmware and guides on how to flash through Odin in XDA or other sites.

I did read a lot of posts online regarding the SHV-E160K and flashing new ROM to this one could be very unpredictable.
I also can't find any recovery that is suitable for MB1 or LL7 (to be honest I am still confused which i should look for).
On Korean samsung site there is only a upgreade file from Gingerbread to JB. I can't find anything on sammobile or elsewhere.
I just want to have Samsung stuff (like s-pen, link, etc.) and to have a functional network PC-PHONE-TV (all samsung).
Any hints?

A stock ROM is your best bet mate. Because the device you may have might be tinkered with, that is why you are experiencing weird bugs. I would try just looking for a file name for a JB firmware even with a dead link, and 'Google' it. I usually find those firmwares in 4shared.
