Hello Friends!
Yesterday I have realised, that most of gameloft games, which I playes about a month ago now don't work. (For example Modern Combat 4, Nova 3, Dark Knight etc.) The games start, and before the loading screen, they suddenly stops without any FC, or message. I tried them on Resurrection Remix, Slim Bean and CM10.1 as well and I tried Siyah 6.0 kernel, the latest Dorimanx kernel, and also the stock kernel, but nothing helps. Please help me to solve this problem Thanks

Try deleting the extra download data for the games and download it from scratch again. It's fixed mine a couple of times. They're usually found under gameloft\games on your SD card

and considering the benchmark score this game should run smoothly on the xperia x10

I tried it on stock gingerbread but game was laggy and gameplay was impossible with all the lags..
I am now on Oodie MIUI Prime rom and same problem.
is this game too heavy for xperia x10?

thanks.. so it seems to be working for people have unlocked bootloader.. which I have.. I have oodies kernel and rom.. dont know what might be causing this.

I have it running fine on Zdzihu's CM7 Z MOD on Doomlord's bootmanager for unlocked bootloaders, it's a bit slow in going through menus but the game itself works fine
alright.. so now it no longer runs laggy.. it does not run at all..
it just forces my phone into a restart
is this bcz of kernel or rom?
what should I change?
Which Oodie MIUI Prime version / kernel? Link would be great... I will load it up and see how it works fresh (just load up the rom/kernel, sign in to Google, install game) for a test run.

-I flashed the default kernel (first kernel, there were 3 on the kernel page), then the rom.
-Added my WiFi network
-Signed into Google, accessed market, downloaded Windup Knight...
-Nothing else, didn't change any settings or install anything.
It randomly caused the phone to reboot each time I played it. There was lag in the part before game play, but the actual game played fine... til it rebooted. I'd have to say the rom and it don't get along... though I'm no where near knowledgeable to tell you why.
It works fine on mine stock gingerbread.

Had anyone tried to play lane splitter on ICS because every time i play it freezes after some time, I have tried official ICS and custom roms also but it freezed everytime..

it works perfect, try resurection remix ics v1.9

Mine works ok, in ICS ( --VK-- 4.8, at the moment).
Did you restored data part using titanium backup, coming maybe from GB? Give a try installing the game from play store, without any TB restore (if it's your situation)..
i deleted everything i downloaded it from market but it freezes.I also tried shadow guardian on ICS builds using chainfire 3d but after gameloft logo it comes to homescreen and it was working flawlessly on 2.3
Yea I have that same problem too,.. even asphalt adrenaline gets stuck.

Same here...
Running CM Nightly 4.0.4 07/07 with stock kernel n siyah kernel too...
Bt Gangsta and b&g freeze for like 30 sec every 1min play time..
But if connected to internet than no problem occur..
seems the roms are messed up for gaming
whats the use of extra performance in the roms if the games arent working properly...
Thank god am not the only one...we are in nightly, so may be they ll fix it on the later builds
Dunno about you guys but i had this issue with all the roms... sammy aosp aokp cm9 miui blah blah....
But now? Issue solved !! ITS THE DAMN KERNEL LOL... Might not be the same for you but its somewhere to start trying

You could try SiyahKernel, and turn on performace mode, this could help, it seems to be a common problem.
For me siyah v3.3.3 was the issue. V3.3.2 is awesome
But am scared to flash siyah...
Blood & glory works fine now,running the latest build.Will check out if Asphalt 6 works as soon as i get home ...
yeh i also wanna know a rom/kernel combo that works best for 3d games..no fps drops..no lags..do share guys

wait for a day r two u will get the latest update of resurrection remix rom as well as siyah kernel latest and u can run all ur 3d games without any fps drops or lags for sure

I'm using an international 16gb galaxy s3 which is rooted and running cm 10.1 nightly build. Please note I'm still runjing the stock kernal.
A lot of games such as Nova 3, modern combat 4 (modern combat 3 works though ), wild blood, dark knight rises, amazing spiderman, devil's attorney etc DO NOT WORK FOR ME.
Why is this happening? I have tried reinstalling the game, deleting the dalvik cache , factory resetting wiping the cache partision etc but nothing seems to work. It is because of my kernel? Should I change my kernel? Or else what should I do? Please help me out.

It can either be the kernel problem or yr rom does not support the games..try using jellybam..

There are a couple available that work. Head over to the development section and look for [KERNEL] and read the OPs to get a description of the kernel to see if it will work with CM10.1/AOSP or whatever ROM your running.
A couple kernels I know that are compatible are Siyah kernel and yank kernel. There may be more, have a look!
...oh and a little birdy told me TK Glitch is getting ready to release his kernel for CM10.1 ..might want to keep an eye out for that one

IS THERE ANY OTHER GOOD Roms like Jellymod? like Roms which are a mixture of other roms?

Just redownload the rom in CWM recovery app....btw..I said jellybam...not jellymod....it's totally different..

I use SlimBean with siyah kernel... Games are very smooth. GTa VC 40fps + , MC4 40fps+, other gammes also very smooth. and its with no OC GPU.

I installed Paranoid Android 3.0 on my i9100 and everything was ok until i run NFS Most Wanted. My phone get freeze...
Every game that is in 3d freeze my phone. Pacman rom based on PA: same thing...
What's wrong and what can i do?

in settings > devloper options try enabling 'Force GPU rendering' and then try those games and see

But I bought my S2 yesterday and just tried PA so far, so i don't know if the freeze is caused by the Rom.
(I know this is an old thread, but i post here , hoping To find a solution^^
Games freeze fix
I just installed the rom myself 4 days ago and had the same issue. I fixed it altogether by doing this:
Go to developer settings and check the box marked "disable HW overlay"
That's it. Try your games now.
Just to let you know... If you reboot your phone you will have to go back to the setting and check the box again... It does not hold after a reboot.

No, it doesn't. Carmageddon still freezes on my i9100 even with the hardware overlay disabled.
Guess I'm stuck with Android 4.1.
Carbon rom. Try that out. Or use dormanx kernel and up the gpu settings.
