i already tried to unyaffs, untar, ungzip, unzip, unrar, and loop mount that file. i have no idea whatsoever what format it is.

Only way I know of, would be to dowload the latest firmware from Asus' website, flash it and then try to install chainfire again and hope for a different result.
That might not have been the answer you were hoping for but it's the only one I know of.
Install another rom...its the only way....did you have any backup of your rom?

No big deal...everyone was a noob once...but you have to do the search work yourself.....Now search how to install CWM on your phone and search for a rom for your phone

Because you can install CWM without booting but for putting rom on internal you have to boot

If you can't access your memory then your phone is bricked....you can't change anything in it then

Excuse me perhaps I did not express it the right way I mean literally modify the ClockworkMod (eg modify the background image or color) and I do not think it can be done from Rom Manager
I would give TWRP a trying if you want themes.

I would like to create a Recovery based on ClockworkMod's why I would be interested to open it, I tried to do with all applications that work with the file. Img but nothing, can not open it, give me all error

I think i may hav deleted the efs folder by mistake but im note sure (im a noob )
so i lost my imei ... emergency calls ,
i tried going to stock , flashing original firmware but no change in imei ,checked out the efs folder using root explorer but it was empty :S
and i hav no backup of anything :/ dint know about the efs/imei...
I can get a backup of the efs from a friends phone (same as mine of course) or any download links would be useful too , just need a way to edit the imei to my own .
anything , any method that is free would be really useful

problem solved
using hex editor(PC) and galaxy toolbox(app) .
backup bml... from galaxytool box or download it, if its corrupted ,
find imei using hex editor and change it to yours .

Another way is that you can install CSC and modem of your country and place them on the Phone and multi CSC slot on ODIN while restoring stock ROM.
