Thank you for this! As a crack-flasher extraordinaire you have made this blah-snowy Wednesday far more exciting!
Wow, wasn't expecting this! Going to leave TouchWiz for a while
Up and running. Restoring apps at the moment. Comes loaded with Apex (I typically use Nova) but I think I'll stick with Apex for a while. So far so good. I'm gonna head down to the museum and play around with the camera for a while.
Thanks again!
Downloading now! Thank you all for this very much

Could someone be so kind as to make a call via the headset and see if the volume its normal and if the other person can hear you ok, I have been desperately looking for an aosp rom that I can make quality calls on the headset to no avail. I assume it's because they are bassed off cm. I just can't handle my wife saying, “what did you say? "

That's what I'm wanting to see.
One big thing I am wondering is if there are still special zips you have to flash to revert back to TW. Thats whats been keeping me off of AOSP for the longest.

Don't know if it's completely applicable here, but i've gone between RootBox and Jelly Beans rom a couple of times with no problems. I just do a full wipe each time.
Screenshots will go up soon but this is AOSO guys. It looks like AOSO lol. Theme chooser allows any look you want from the market

Its not about reverting back to tw or aosp. Its about downgrading from 4.2.x to 4.1.x. You need to flash one simple zip after you've flashed the 4.1.x ROM(usually tw). It just restores your files to their original place as 4.2.x creates a new directory. Its really not a big deal to flash the zip. If you are going form a tw to aosp you shouldn't have to flash anything but the ROM and gapps.

Looking good over here. I hope battery life is as good as the Avatar ROM. I had Carbon 1.5 running but it drained my battery way faster that Avatar did.
This here is a top notch Rom am glad that i have Deviant Development on my Note 2. Like all other Roms put out by the team was impressed as usual. Will keep this as my daily driver thanks for your dedicated work guys five thumbs up.:good:
Last time I investigated, before official CM10 was out, I had to flash a zip before and after. Also if I wanted to use my micro sd formatted as exfat then I couldn't leave TW. I have been trying to find a decent workaround but could never find one. It's a necessity for me to store large files soo..... any ideas?
I'm glad now that I only have one zip to flash tho. Thats not bad at all

First AOSP flash.
Been waiting for something to get me off touch-wiz, seen this and decided to leap. I will report any issues i run across(hopefully very few i can not find the answers to before asking...Thanx!!!
Am I an idiot... No, don't answer that, but where did developer settings go? I liked the ROM overall, but need dev options, especially back button kill which everyone seems to remove...
Also is there a way to change superuser when its baked into the ROM? I bought super super user and would like to be able to use it...
Later,
Jason

You should use TWRP and always wipe system and factory reset!
3.3 SCREENSHOTS!
As for Gapps you should be using some plain JB Gapps like these,gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
Don't ask if others work, just try them and post your results.
If you like my work, show me.
This ROM contains the Cyanogen Mod kernel.
If you want overclocking flash one of DAGr8's kernels
Don't post about issues you have with them here.
common questions.
Be careful with this ROM, it will end your desire to constantly flash!
Q: I'm getting a #7 error when trying to flash your ROM!?
A: Use TWRP or just update your CWM.
Q: Which Gapps should I use!?
A: Look in up a few lines.
Q: What's different about this ROM!?
A: Check this out and be amazed!
Q: I'm having some crazy issues that no one else has!?
A: Guess what, you messed up. Use TWRP wipe system, and do a factory reset.
Then flash the ROM and Gapps listed in the OP and wipe cache/dalvik. Do not restore stuff with TB.
Q: How's the battery life in this ROM!?
A: Awesome of course.
Q: Which kernel is the best!?
A: Try them both and figure it out yourself.
Q: Has the music bug been fixed!?
A: Everything seems to work fine.
Q: Bluetooth!? Is it fixed yet!?
A: Yes.
Q: I am not getting notification lights!?
A: In advance settings uncheck and check the box.
Q: Kang, kang, kang, kanger! You big kanger! Wait, what does it mean to kang!?
A: Ok well let's set the record straight on this one. Yes this ROM is a kang, but so is almost
every other ROM for the note. Kang means to take somebody else's work and put it to good
use. Credit is expected but occasionally not given. I for one always am the first to admit what I
am building is a kang. If the "dev" who built the ROM isn't the one who wrote the source then
he just made a kang build (for example, krarvind wrote the slim source, so his builds aren't kangs).

Full release uploading :victory:
I removed gestures and AOKP toggles, those were the issue causers and weren't ready anyways. Maybe in 3.23 they'll be ready
I'm hoping the 2-3 inches of snow we gotten so far turn into 6-8 so I can stay home tomorrow and finish something new
Here we go guys and gals! This is the beginning of Eclipse 3.1! This does not have as many features as the 4.1.2 just yet. So chances are if there is a feature that you are missing it will come in a future build. I plan on releasing builds frequently as we progress in a more feature rich build.

I'm excited to have the better quick settings as toggles as they should have been from Google. Having them be shortcuts to their perspective settings is dumb. Can't wait to get off work today and try this ROM out!
I installed this a while ago and so far everything is running great, the only thing I noticed is that the changelog shows that it has the Trinity kernel but it does not appear to be there once the ROM is installed.
Edit: The only thing I've noticed is that when playing Need for Speed: Most Wanted the steering is now off about 8-9 degrees to the right, I have to hold the device tilted to the left to maintain a straight line while driving.
Edit 2: I got the steering issue figured out and all is well.

Nice to see 4.2 ROMs pop up here and there.
But considering all the complaints about the stock version, how's the battery life and performance? What about screen calibration?
I know benchmark results don't always have anything to do with real life but still it'd be fun to see some results in Quadrant, Velamo, Antutu.

This is by far THE fastest ROM i have ever been on. I have tried every rom for the nexus 7 (almost) and this one put simply is Nexus Turbo mode. It's unbelievable how fast this ROM is!!! I don't have to mess with any complicated trickster mod stuff, it just Works! This combination of yours is even more stable than purity 5.6.1+ m kernel combination!! Amazing job man. This is just so unbelievable i swear I'm not making this up. Its like the nexus got a HUGE Boost! I hope everyone else has similar experience!
Finally, YouTube with dual pane! *cries tears of joy*

Found a bug. If you restart the tablet in landscape mode, when the lock screen pops up, the tablet is stuck on a black lock screen. The first time this happened all i had to do to fix it was hard restart (hold power for 10 seconds), and let it boot while holding the tablet in portrait mode and it booted up fine. The second time this happened, it took me 5 hard restarts to get it back working.
The progress bars, like those during first login are on turbo, jittering instead of the smooth motion.
Recents screen has humongous thumbnails
Otherwise super smooth ROM.
Isn't including gapps this way illegal though?

If this is like VANIR, but with fullt customizable QuickSettings and ability to choose System Icons to customise the buttons in the NavBar, I'll take it at once when it's in 4.3
Any port to Nexus 4 in view ? I'd be glad to have my devices loaded with the same ROM
I think I'll even give the 4.2.2 a try

About:
- -O3 Optimized
- Based off of CM
- Themed apps with the idea of beauty and elegance in mind. (WIP)
- ThemeCenter
- CM Performance Control (duh)
- All non-system/Google apps you see (Experience Project, Help Center, Changelog, etc), have been built from scratch by me. Unique, right?
- More, but I don't want to name everything this has. Too excessive.
Why?
Android is cool... right?
Yeah.
It seems like it is the same thing every time. You download a ROM, set it up, blah blah blah.
That gets boring. And boring is bad. It leads to trouble, and trouble is even worse.
I want this ROM to be YOUR ROM. Not some 'ROM' you use. F*** that. Originality is cool.
I personally created the following apps you will see:
-Experience Project
-HelpCenter
-GAppsCenter
-XPChangelog
and am currently working on several more. This is MY way of breaking out, and trying something original. Let's hope it'll turn out decent, right?
Oh, and the freaking awesome new MMS you're going to see, was personally, and painstakingly, modified by me. Consider it 'THE' MMS for 4.4, or rather, what I think it should've looked like. That to me is my absolute prized posession. I had dreamed about doing it for months, gained the knowledge, and executed the s*** out of it. Hahah. We're talking HOURS and HOURS of tedious editing to make sure it looked PERFECT. So, please, try giving that a try, instead of using HangOuts. Even for 5 minutes. Or at least pretend to like it so I don't get bummed out. <-- Ignore this for now
All joking and immaturity aside though, I worked incredibly hard on this ROM, doing nearly all of the work by myself (Seriously, Chromium is an awesome artist). So, please, enjoy this ROM.

Check it out on G+, he has it somewhere there. Lemme find it for ya.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Well it boots!
-some screen flickering (doesn't seem to matter what part of the ui I'm on)
-banks gapps seems to have done away with your MMS app, I'll probably just pull the apk from the zip..
-bug reporting in the experience app doesn't take me anywhere
First impressions, definitely a good start. Seems like an alpha (feels like an alpha) but shows a lot of promise. Thanks for sharing, I'll report back if I find anything major

Not going to be in the ROM quite yet. Step one is making sure it boots on all these devices im building for, and step two is re-integrating it, as it was* in the ROM originally, but I switched to CMs source, so I have to re-do it.

Yep. That's my bad.
I'll need to adjust the class that's called in the java file. That'll be fixed in the next nightly.

No custom bootanimation?
Welcomed by CM.

Cool. I like the look and feel. Its nice to some custom tweeks coming to 4.4.
Pushed a commit removing the bootanimation
As for now, the setup screen will stay how it is. I'm having difficulty finding the commit that added the CM stuff.

ROM is very nice. Fast, smooth, everything works - No issues for me and oddly enough i kinda like the vanilla first release without all the wiz bangs added. Lol
Great job Bro, look forward to where you take this.
Thank you for supporting this device.

Hello, I've only been running stock based roms for stability sake. I found stock to be more stable on my g3, but I loved aosp back on my old htc evo. How is the stability here compared to other aosp and stock roms? Thanks

I run this in my device all day everyday and this is my work phone. Stability is absolutely critical

It sure is. I'm a truck driver, and I use my phone for GPS, hours of service logs, and so on. So far so good. Seems a little slow at the moment. I'm going to allow everything to settle in before judging the stability and speed.
I know this is just the beginning for this ROM. Its running smooth so far. Thanks for the ROM. Can't wait for you to get all in to this ROM
Very nice, especially for a 1.0 release. Thanks for the G3 love!
Absolutely amazing! Super stable, fast, smooth, even smoother with the Jedi kernel installed and over clocked! Really like it! Definitely can't wait till you add some tweaks, I like my nav bar a certain way etc. other than that it's amazing!

If possible maybe custom tiles!!
Best experience I've had with aosp on this phone. Nice n smooth. Im not a fan of the camera app, or gallery, however, snap camera, and pictures gallery app are decent substitutes.
Is the latest Jedi kernel already in the ROM? Or should I flash it? Or is the kernel included the best for the ROM? Thanks!

Okay, ran into an issue watching YouTube. A min or so into a video the lock screen pops up then the screen sleeps. I have it set for 5 min, and it only does this watching YouTube. Also YouTube video stops playing everyone an app updates. I'm googling solutions, maybe settings I've over looked, but I thought I'd ask here anyway in case someone else had this problem. Thanks
