Theoretically, 254 devices (read up on IP addresses) but I doubt that the HD2 or your data plan provider could handle the traffic. It is just meant and programmed to give you quick access to the internet with your laptop, desktop or other internet-capable device.
oh, Ok, I thought it was like a Mi-Fi which can connect up to 7 users only

Some operators (i.e Orange) remove it from their customized ROMs but you can get it on OpenMarket

Use *#*#4636#*#* theng o to Phone info and report what it says under GPRS when the issue occurs,
it should show an error message as to WHY it cannot connect.

The issue happened again. I did go to the service mode you mentioned and went to device information and it simply said "GPRS: Disconnected", I can't see any errors? I then enabled and disabled flight mode and the device succesfully connected to H+. It seems like the device needs a radio reset (enabling and fisabling flight mode or restarting the phone) in order to solve the issue. What am I missing here? Is this a common problem?

Yeah, but I'm wondering if this behavior with the stock firmware/modem firmware normal?

I experience this yesterday, however, after calling up my Carrier, they manage to do a refresh on my network regarding the APN.

How exactly did they do that? At their end or at your end?
It happened again. I was monitoring the service menu and it didn't even attempt to have a status of "connecting" when I enable mobile data, it stayed at "disconnected". I then enabled and disabled flight mode while monitoring the service menu and it immediately had a status of "connecting" and then "connected".
With this observation, there's got to be something wrong with the phone, really. If this is NORMAL, then I can accept it but if it is an isolated case then I will be very worries. Is this grounds for claiming my warranty now? Or will a better modem firmware solve this issue?
Please help me.

well xml can put another SIM in your phone and check how gprs is having . similarly you can put your SIM in another phone and check. by doing this you can make sure whether it's a problem with your phone or carrier

What's xml? But I only have one microSIM and one phone that accepts microSIM. I've read that this was a common problem for the S2?

xml was a typo , sorry , lol . you can use micro SIM adapter and check. well I'm from India , here getting a SIM card is very easy , I had this problem with my s3 , when I tried with a different SIM card from a different carrier I found that gprs was working normally.

yes , first I changed my modem but the problem was still there , then I changed my carrier and found that it was working the way it should. I had problems with getting push messags delivered because the gprs connection went off .

Are you saying that the connection went off whilr it is turned ON? For my case, the problem only happens randomly wherein it doesn't connect when I enable mobile data but once is connected it stays connected no matter what.

I just got a new SIM from my provider but the problem is still present. I just experienced it now. After being disconnected from mobile data overnight, I tried enabling mobile data and it won't connect. As usual, the trick to solve it was to enable disable flight mode.
So any more possible solutions here?

Can't do that because my phone's carrier–locked.
I highly doubt it's the carrier that's the problem because as I've said it is not even "attempting" to connect. What do you think?

No mobile internet connection after some wifi-time

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my internet connection. After staying in a wifi-area and being connected for a few hours, my phone won't automatically connect to the mobile internet. When this happens I have to turn on Airplan-Mode and turn it off again in order to make it work.
It's kind of annoying. Can anyone help me? =)
Thanks

Might be the problem... but I never had this problem with my old Nexus S (4.1.2) on the o2 Germany network. I'm confused
I solved the problem using WifiFixer Free app in the play store .
Now everything is fine

Unable to connect to Internet via mobile network

My Amaze is unbranded and rooted, I'm currently using T-MOBILE ICS stock RUU on it.
Whenever I try to connect to the internet it says 'Connection Failed' even though I have turned on the Mobile network. Anybody know a solution to this issue?

You need to edit your apns. Go to voice dialer, say open apns, then enter the correct one for your carrier. I would look up your carrier name and it's apn settings on Google. Once you enter and set them, you should be good.

Koolman, try these APNs. They're for your carrier. They should fix the data issue, if they don't, call your carrier.
Your carrier is Warid, right? Enter these APNS. :good:
