Hi all,I am searching for a way to upload files on the web from Android. Tried dropbox but it cant upload large files, tried multiupload but says 0 bytes uploaded. Can anyone link me a browser that is working with file sharing sites on Android? Thanks

Dunno if you were trying with official app for dropbox but I have encounter many probs myself with it especially uploading. I use es file explorer which has built in dropbox and so far is much more reliable for me
Try 4shared
A good solution is to use an app called URLy from the market. It uploads files to ifile.com sharing service. No need for a specific browser.

Try skyfire to run multiupload & you can also try 4shared

if you have tabs enabled ( ftp, lan, etc) you will see a tab called net. this has an option to log in a dropbox acc.
Is sprint blocking torrents? I ask because im using ttorrent to download a linux iso and can't get any connections to peers. Which is highly unusual for a linux torrent.
I was able to download torrents on my epic but I had the proxies removed. Any one figure out how to remove these yet? Maybe that's the cause.

Disregard, ttorrent was set to download on wifi only.

I've been using the BitTorrent app since its original beta release and I get great speeds the tci port it uses is 15448 if I was you I would try the original BitTorrent it was released a few months before utorrent and has advanced farther

Hmm...I got bittorrent and it looks identical to the utorrent app...I thought that was funny
what kind of d/l speeds are you seeing in the bittorrent app vs speedtest app
On speedtest app I get 20 to 30 or more mbps but 500 to 600 kbps on utorrent
I will try d/l on bittorrent to see what I get there

It may be an issue with verizon and not the app. See if connecting to wifi gets you the appropriate speeds.
I have been using spotify premium because I enjoy the service, but I just got a text from T-Mobile saying I've used 4.5GB of my 5GB allowance. I went into data management and saw that Spotify has downloaded 4.2 GB of music in the past week. I only have one playlist set to download, but its only 300 songs, no way is it 4.2 GB, plus I download all of my songs over WiFi before I get into my car? I stream music but only rarely. I have noticed that spotify continuously says its downloading my playlist but I didn't think anything of it. Any help on fixing this rogue app?

Go into Spotify, then settings and make sure Download over 2G/3G is set to OFF
Or if you're using an ICS/JB ROM, you can limit how much data an app uses in Settings-Data Usage.

It just seems weird that it would have that much downloaded, there isnt that much in the first place! I hate to turn off the mobile data options, because I never know when ill need it, but thatll have to work for now.

Maybe there's some setting to save your playlist to the device, and since download via mobile network was allowed, it would have downloaded a huge playlist(s) that you had. I suppose this was the case, or there might be an auto-caching option like in Google Play Music.

Yeah spotify allows you to download a playlist to your device, which I do at home when im on wifi. My playlist is 1gb at most, it baffles me how it drained 4gb, and on mobile data to boot.

So I was browsing on Facebook and I like the htc fan pages I see this app htc makes called htc power to give and decided to check it out.
Basically the app takes your phone and uses it to download bits of information compute it and the sends it back. It acts like a super computer and I thought it was a great way for us htc owners to give back and make a change in the world or contribute to it while we charge our phones and don't use then when we sleep.
Here is the short YouTube video that explains the concept behind the app. It's about a minute and a half long.

And here is the app on Google play if you feel like joining the cause.

Just thought I would bring this to attention to those who want to help and make a difference with their htc device.
For those who can't download it on their device I have gone ahead and uploaded it to Dropbox.

I don't think so unless you modify it, but that is way above me. Maybe ask one of the devs around here.

Check all the reviews. Tons of complaints about not being able to use mobile data. I tried to change the WiFi setting. No go.
