[Q] TWRP update to 2.4

I am currently running TWRP 2.3.1.0 and would like to update it to the most current version. Is there a specific process that I have to go through in order to update it correctly, or can I just download if from Goomanager and install it without any additional steps?
Thanks
Goomanager should work fine assuming you're rooted

This is what I did.
I do mine via fastboot, it's pretty easy just run fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and just make sure the TWRP is in your fastboot folder and you replace recovery.img with the latest file name you downloaded. GooManger should be much easier if you don't wanna use fastboot.

@hasoon2000
Both Classic and Touch versions work. So you can pull those for your toolkit. Don't use TWRP. Doesn't boot yet. We have to wait till kernel source is out to make it boot.

Have some problems flashing recovery and rooting((( Unlocked the phone, flashed recovery using all in one kit, but when I go to recovery it boots in a normal way, not into the recovery. and one more thing, when i tried to flash recovery manualy it was "waiting for device" without proceeding to flashing((( any help please?
Re: [RECOVERY][3/9/2013]ClockworkMod Touch v6.0.2.8 [OFFICIAL]
Not sure if it's normal but when I try to enter recovery on my Stock One all I get (after waiting) is a big red triangle. Does the stock bootloader not allow you into recovery or is there no recovery to enter? I was hoping to nandroid it before cocking things up.

Anyone able to flash twrp directly from goo manager

Currently am bootloader unlocked .....
I just picked up a second HTC one and wanted to ask before I attempt again to flash twrp from goo manager app which is supoosed #1 preferred method on twrp website ,stating to open goomanager /menu and install open recovery script .
After I donwlaoded it I tried it once and manually rebooted although recovery booted into a dim blueish screen .
Had to go into hboot and factory reset
I thought that if goo manager has an available open recovery it should flash it from the device itself .
If this is known to be not working can anyone confirm and I will just use the fastboot adb method
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Check the TWRP thread in the 'original android development' forum. Seems the method is different with this phone/s-on.
Sent from my Full JellyBean on Mako using xda app-developers app
I unlocked the bootloader and flashed a cwm recovery. Downloaded goo.im and downloaded twrp through the app. I'm used to some sort of confirmation that a change has been made, but when I rebooted into recovery sure enough, I had twrp installed.

Flashing from goo manager only works if you flash a non-protected kernel first.
This one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255900
worked perfectly for me.
Otherwise, you have to use this method:

TWRP Recovery

Is there a way to install the recovery with goo manger app. When I try to install the recovery scrip it says that there is not a recovery found for the device. I do not have access to a computer at the moment and was going to try to install the recovery on the app.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I do not believe so. The only thing I use Goo for is updating TWRP,,but as for installing it brand new..I am going with no. I had to manually install it after I unlocked my phone

You can take the recovery image that goo download and flash it through terminal emulator on your phone. Of course you have to know the commands.

Lost recovery

I was updating my twrp recovery from 2.7.0.1 to 2.7.1.0 using flashify.
I noticed flashify was unable to begin downloading the recovery image, so I do loaded it from the Internet browser.
Now when I try to reboot into recovery, I get the download screen instead.
Can't manually boot into recovery either as I get an error message saying the same.
Can someone assist me here?

Do you have a supersu. If not download supersu and then try to install Goomanager from the play store.

Try extracting that TWRP zip you downloaded and get the Recovery.IMG file from it.
Then use Flashify's option to flash a recovery image. Find the one you extracted and you should be good. Course you can make sure your SuperSu is all set too like previously mentioned.

Did exactly that and got twrp back. But trying to install the latest version 2.7.1.0 and flashify just hangs.
Extracted the image file but it doesn't update to 2.7.1.0 and still on 2.7.0.1. Odd

You could try getting the latest one from here http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/jfltevzw
