[Q] What roms work well with Pebble? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So I bought a pebble from the kickstarter project and it finally came in today. Found out that it doesn't seem to work with the CM 10.1 nightlies so I need to change my rom (pebble service wont start). If anyone has received their Pebble, what roms does it work well with?
EDIT: Went back to a previous backup of CM 10 and that works fine so I guess I will stick with that. Still curious though - if anyone has any input.
EDIT #2: CM10 is working very well with pebble. One weird quirk, Talkback (the feature that reads websites to you) seems to turn on automatically for the default browser when Pebble is sync'd (even when talkback is completely disabled)

[Q] Google Reader Update

Running Froyo 2.2 on my NC.
Google Reader was working for me perfectly before.
It patched over the weekend (I believe the new release was the 18th).
Everything seems fine now except when you get to the point where you are looking at the actual post, it is a smaller screen much like when you pull down the notification drawer.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I poked around in the config files but nothing stuck out at me. Have un-installed and re-installed... googled around for guidance or similar google reader problems... any thoughts?
Thanks,
Nathan
I'm having the exact same problem and it sucks rocks. I wish Google would fix it.
Is there a way to download and install the version previous to this one?
I'm also finding the same thing and used to really enjoy the layout...
If you change your LCD density to 160 it will work fine, however, you'll break your Market My Apps screen (blank list).
Just get the unofficial google reader. I think g reader? It has full screen all the time and is better imo. Links open within the program, so I don't constantly jump between google reader and opera just to view a funny image
Only issue with greader is it wont keep feed groups like Google reader does.
I was using the latest version of google reader with my rooted NC (stock 2.1 ROM), and it was working fine. I just updated to CyanogenMod 7 Stable, and I'm seeing this problem now.
I like the official google version better than greader.

[Q] GS2 and 4.2.1, video, keyboard and bluetooth issues

I've done as much searching on these issues and I cannot find anywhere that references my particular symptoms. I've tried both AOKP 4.2.1 latest release and supernexus 2.0, and the fact that the exact same issues happen on both roms I would assume it's either a 4.2.1 problem or just some particular issues with my device...
1.) just about every video playing app has some sort of problem. Biggest example being the Twitch tv app only playing audio, screen is black except for menu options. Trying to go back crashes the app. flash video embedded on Web pages (installed flash so regular browser supports flash) works until you try to watch full screened, which makes the browser lock up until you force the process closed. youtube, like the twitch tv app, will only show a black screen where the video should be, however everything else shows up fine (examples being menus and, most interestingly, the preview pics that appear as you scroll through the video show up, but when it buffers it's back to black screen) For the record, I had to install the fix here to get netflix to get even that far, as before it would just stick at the loading screen when trying to play a video.
2.) SwiftKey loses its languages after each reboot where typing does not bring up any predictions (boxes where they would be are blank), and the only way to get it working is to go into languages in SwiftKey settings and updating them. I saw some other places describing the same issues with jellybean but i couldn't find if there was a solution.
3.) connecting to my car via Bluetooth and listening to music (power amp currently installed), if i get a call while music is playing the device will lock up for several seconds and the only way to get everything back to normal is to turn off bluetooth once the phone actually starts responding, call the person back on the device, and then reconnect via bluetooth and continue the music only at that point.
Any help or guidance or info on any of these issues would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
if any of the issues I mentioned are discussed elsewhere that I just haven't found, would anyone be able to link me to the thread/article where it's discussed? or if there just isn't any way around it, let me know so I can just put an ics rom back on

Why not drop back to 4.1.2 rather than ICS?
Bluetooth is a know issue with 4.2. Never seen the swiftkey issue before, but quite a few apps are not compatible with 4.2 yet.
SwiftKey is a reported bug with the gs2

the video issue is the biggest issue in terms of affecting my day to day use, as i like to watch streams from twitch.tv as well as having netflix that works (has anyone seen or heard about the netflix issue i described? thought that was particularly weird...). I guess I could try a 4.1.2 rom before going all the way back to ics, but if it means more apps/features are stable and compatible compared to either version of jb, then that's the way i'd probably go. thanks for the replies

if you're referring to the fix i linked in the op referencing the stuck at loading issue where the fix is to install xposed, that was the only way i even got past the loading screen initially which brought me to the issue I described. if there is another fix he provided for the issue, i'd be interested in seeing the link if you could provide.
I switched to shostock3 using 4.1.2 and everything is working perfectly fine, so I guess all the issues, officially confirmed as problems or not, are 4.2.1 related. I'd still be curious to see if any further fixes exist as I definitely liked the supernexus rom and would love to use it if I can get everything working.

It's in the cm10 thread
Sent from my GS4 running CM11 Kandy Kane
I'm having similar issues:
- SwiftKey works fine
- Google+ Hangout during a call video rendering is all glitchy, often freezes and crashes.
- Skype calls work fine
- Chrome freezes and crashes often
- Gmail Reply All either adds me to CC (if not updated to the latest version) or removes one address from the list (if updated). Saw other threads on this issue but couldn't fix it.
- Automatic timezone switches to GMT
Feels like most of the google apps aren't working for me, but rather than that the rom is cool would definitely want to fix the issues.

[Q] Autocorrect not working?

As school started just today, I would like autocorrect to properly work on my tablet. My model is SGT311 (also known as the 16gb wifi version) and is currently running the CM 10.2 August 21 nightly and despite having set autocorrect to "very aggressive", no word suggestions appear above the keyboard nor is there any corrections on the words typed. I jumped from several roms including:
Carbon Rom
PAC MAN
Cyanogenmod (10.1.2 and 10.2)
I had gotten it to work on an earlier version on CM 10.2 (dont remember which, but my tablet froze and shut down after a few minutes of inactivity), but have never retrieved the feature, even with alternate keyboards like swiftkey and google keyboard. What can I do now?

[Q] Xperia U - CyanogenMod 10.1 issues

Hi Gurus,
I installed CM 10.1 on my Xperia U.
Performance has tremendously improved as opposed to Sony stock ROM (ICS).
HOWEVER i have the following nagging issues --
1. WiFi Hotspot is not turning on. (even I cannot get Hotspot Icon to appear in the power drawer)
2. Camera -- works perfectly for still pictures, But does not record anything / immediately freezes when I start video recording
3. No app for FM Radio (over the air). I enabled non-market apps and installed the APK for Spirit FM free and that too doesnt play any FM station
4. Sony's original handsfree has stopped working for phone calls (worked for a week after installing CM10.1). I cannot hear anything. It still works for playing music though. I bought a Sony "original" replacement and it doesn't work either. Then I bought a cheap off-brand handsfree and it works (though with a lot of line noise and feedback)
5. Cannot download / install the app "Swiftkey Keyboard" which I had purchased earlier, and was working fine on stock Sony ROM. I tried multiple times over WiFi as well as 3G. It says could not download / could not install on SD card or internal memory. Internet connectivity or disk space is not the issue since i installed many apps after this.
6. When I click on the "Google" search bar on home screen, the keyboard does not come up or comes up after a lot of delay / goes away intermittently. I think "Google Now" is the underlying app. This is making any search very difficult to accomplish.
7. MailDroid app was working perfectly fine earlier (on stock ROM) -- connecting to my MS Exchange mailbox at work. Now this app downloads mail only when it is connected to my home WiFi. Doesnt download any mail on 3G. 3G works fine otherwise and I dont see any app settings that prevent it from using 3G.
7b. Other MS Exchange email apps like Touchdown and Emoze do not connect to my mailbox at all. Emoze is working fine on my another android tablet (CM9). I used Touchdown earlier successfully -- now it is not connecting either from my new Xperia on CM10.1 or from my android tablet on CM9. Weird.
Please let me know if you have any advice / tips on these. Thanks!
EDIT: I installed the latest nightly: cm-10.1-20130723-NIGHTLY-kumquat.zip
and gapps is downloaded from another site as goo.im was down that day: gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip
Add
8. I am unable to "conference" two different calls and merge them into one. When i add a second call, mostly the second person does not hear anything when he/she answers. Unable to merge both calls.
Help
Bump - kindly help with any tips / pointers even for one of the issues listed above. Thanks!

Is there a bug list / discussion specifically for CM 10.1? Are there any more nightlies expected? i see no action in last many months.
Can I downgrade to CM 10 or CM 9? What would you recommend? Thanks again!

CM9 can be preferred as it is more stable(bluetooth, tetherting) all working, no random FCs and moreover its damn fast than stock ROMs !

Does snapchat not work on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510)?

Ya I know, this may seem like a stupid question, but believe me I have valid reasons for asking it. So I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510) that had been sitting around not being used for quite some time. I decided to recently take it out and root it to run the snapprefs xposed module alongside snapchat. Well, first things first, the tablet was running Android 3.0 Honeycomb which is way out of date. I upgraded to the last update available for this tablet which was Android 4.0.4 ICS. through standard system update. I then rooted using CWM recovery and flashing over superuser. All worked well and the tablet was rooted. I installed the latest version of snapchat from the play store and attempted to login with ABSOLUTELY 100% VALID credentials. It went through the processes "logging in, verifying device, etc." and then crashed to the home screen. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, signing up for new accounts, switching google accounts on the device, creating new google accounts, making sure google accounts were syncing correctly, making sure time and date was correct, downgrading snapchat to older versions, EVERYTHING. Absolutely nothing worked. The funny thing is that when initially opening snapchat, it would have the main screen where you see your camera open and have snap/stories notifications, etc. Then it would finish loading and go to the login/signup screen (since no account was logged in). That was when the problems would occur. I'm even able to sign up for new snapchat accounts which would go through just fine (I would receive the email notification from team snapchat), but when it was time to go to the main snapchat screen it would crash the same way as when logging in. At this point I was convinced that snapchat simply had issues running on 4.0.4 or something. I decided to flash a custom ROM to solve this. The first ROM I flashed was Nameless 4.4.4 .. Again, EXACT same issues. I was like wtf?? I then flashed Omni 4.4.4 and yep, same exact issue. I then tried CM 10.1 (4.2.2) and again, same issues. I went back to completely stock ICS 4.0.4 using Odin and ya, same issues as the first time. I really don't understand at this point. I thought it could be snapchat account issues so I tried logging in and logging out with all accounts that I attempted on the tablet using my Galaxy S6 Active which worked completely fine, so it's definitely something with the device. I'm someone that can typically figure out things for myself through researching, but at this point I'm really stuck, and I had to join this forum for assistance. If anyone would be able to help, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Does anyone have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi (GT-P7510) that they are currently running snapchat on? This is the original 10.1, and not the 2 or 3, and so on. Would anyone know what could possibly be going on? I wouldn't think that it would take much to run an app like snapchat, and I would think that the Tab 10.1's hardware would certainly be more than capable of doing so. The latest version of snapchat requires 4.0 and up, so I wouldn't think the android versions that I used would be an issue. Even the stock ICS 4.0.4 should be able to run it just fine. CM 10.1 was 4.2.2 and the other 2 ROMs that I tried were Omni 4.4.4 and Nameless 4.4.4.
I look forward to any help that can be provided. Thanks ahead of time everyone.
Got any solutions?
