I thought with Honeycomb there is supposed to be an option to zoom or stretch the display for apps that are not meant for tablet displays. Some of my son's math games like "Math Space" need that. I loaded up Cypherom to get that option on our HTC Evo View but I don't get the option (HP Touchpad on ICS and Jellybean has it). Does the official Honeycomb rom have this? Or is it not working for the View for some reason? Thanks.

Is it possible to our mini pro cellphones? I badly want it, but I cant find. Anyway if its not possible, congrats to the hard working developers here
I honestly cannot see the point of this. As said a 100 times before honeycomb is designed for widescreen tablets and makes use of special hardware accelleration... both features which the X10 mini pro simply dosen't have.
All cons and no pros.
The project would be a waste of time.
HoneyComb does not work, screen is blured and does not work touchscren.
What is the point of using HoneyComb on our itsy bitsy little screens? If your talking about a 5" and above tablet, I would understand. But on a 2.55" screen? At any rate, most honeycomb apps are designed for tablets, so even if you have a usable port of honeycomb, it'd be pretty useless without the apps.
ruifung in honeycomb framework found folder drawable-ldpi, LDPI - 240x320.
It is compatible with our screen but not the necessary libraries to run the Android 3.0.
For x10 mini. bad work!

I read that if the device which is running Honeycomb drops below a certain DPI it automatically switches to a gingerbread theme mode.

I am having Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Honeycomb 3.1. Is it possible to root this to honeycomb 3.2? If so, please share how can it be done? Is there a big difference between 3.1 and 3.2?
You can't "root to 3.2", root has nothing to do with the update to Android 3.2. You want an update to 3.2 but that doesn't exist for the Galaxy Tab yet. So "3.1" is as high as it gets for now.
3.2 brings support for smaller screen sizes (like 7") and smaller resolutions (1024x600). Both changes are not relevant for us. The second "major" change is an option to scale phone apps to use the whole screen. But since most of them run in fullscreen anyway and the ones that don't look like crap blown up to full screen, it's not much of a loss.
I have read an article from the lead UI engineer at google stating his acceptance of custom UI skins:
search: matias-duarte-talks-ice-cream-sandwich-android-skins-and-fragmentation
In it, it specifically says that the transformer prime gives you the option to remove ASUS' UI skins so that you can use the stock honeycomb UI (and hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich).
This question is directed to those who already have the device. Have you found this feature? Is it a complete revert? For example, I noticed the three soft keys (the back, home, and app drawer) keys look different from honeycomb, can these be reverted to? Is it a COMPLETE revert?

Custom ROMs can give you default Honeycomb looks. However, ASUS gives a very vanilla Honeycomb experience and the stock Honeycomb keys are ugly. Wait for ICS, root it, slap a popular ROM on.
I haven't seen any 'global' setting for that to revert everything to stock honeycomb. But honestly, I've only noticed that the ASUS keyboard is different. It does give you the option to use the default HC keyboard if you want.
Saw the article but no setting to turn them off maybe I'm future update
Yup, I already know the ways to get a stock version running. Just asking specifically if users who have the device have seen the options to revert to stock among the device settings somewhere.
Thank you, tylermaciaszek and tbns.
you can do this in a few places, like keyboard and notification bar can also be returned to stock. But there is not a return to stock checkbox in the settings or anything. I also havent seen anything that lets you change the softkeys. Maybe you should get ahold of one of the launcher devs and ask them for this feature.
Only thing I found you can change is the quick settings menu when you press the time section on the notification bar
So ever since seeing the ASUS Mywater live wallpaper a few months ago, I absolutely loved it. Not having a Honeycomb tablet, I couldn't use the .apk available in a thread somewhere on this forum. Once ICS came out, I figured that it would work on that. I was able to install the app, but if I set it as the wallpaper, it FCs [ the preview also shows the ice cubes as white blocks]. However, the ASUS weather widget works perfectly fine, and looks great with Launcher7. Is there any way I can get the Mywater wallpaper to work? By the way, I'm on an HD2 with a CM9 based ROM, IceCreamTosti.
Thank you for any suggestions.
i know i had something like this for my HTC H2 it was CM7 Typhoon rom. but is there any chance of making a status bar at the bottom of the screen like tablets for my GP USA 5.0?

Just flash this. It is a bit buggy though but you get the full tablet UI as some apps also change to tablet mode.
