Hello people, today im presenting u a work which is not really mine but still its awesome and the guys who love Holoish black will surely love this. Its a black modded Play Store with a sweet touch of ICS blue color. Im posting some screenshots so u guys can have a better idea.

Instructions:
(Navigate to system/app and check if you playstore is named as vending.apk or phonesky.apk then do the steps mentioned below according to the names respectively)
1. Place the Phonesky.apk anywhere in the sd card.
2. Navigate to system/app using a file manager and rename Phonesky.apk to Phonesky.apkbak (So u have a backup of current playstore).
3. Place the downloaded Phonesky.apk to system/app using a file explorer.
4. Change the permissions to rw-r--r-- or 644 and apply.
5. Reboot.
6. Press Thanks.

here is latest in black with ics blue text version 3.10.14,when needet u can rename it to Phonesky.apk,no problem,befor install make sure that you have deleted previous one+updates,than move file system/app permission to rw-r-r-.

Hi friends this is my first post for tab i am a power user in sensation but came across a very interesting article here so tried the same thing on tab..and boom it works well.
hope u'll like it....if u do jst click thnx ooh and do bk up first...Thnx to pimpmaneaton for his hardwork to put this together..
Steps
1. Download the fontchanger (free) from market.
2. Run app first time and this will install a .fontchanger file onto the root of your storage.
3. Unzip this file and move it to the tab.
4. Now open root explorer you will see the .fontchanger folder inside it is backup folder, delete it and move the backup (unzipped file) in that same place.
5. Reboot tab.
6. open fontchanger and play with two strings
(a) DROIDSans-Bold.ttf (to change headers).
(b) Droidsans.ttf (to change all other fonts).
7. Caution u may need to boot device again if u get stuck on boot animation.

why not try once same app changes my fonts on my sensation..dhd etc also..and its damm charm....
I very fond of what I do.
But if you really want me to try this as a test, I will.
I don't have any issues with the stock font anyway.
The ubuntu font its terrific, I use it on my phone. Haven't had a problem with default font but I will try it. I'll post screenshots in a minute

I made this for Ray but I thought it would work for Neo as well (& probably Arc/S too) but I had no way of knowing since I don't have these devices.
Today, somebody said it works for Neo.
And so, I opened a new thread here.
I'd prefer, however to keep the same thread I made in the Ray section.

PREVIOUS THEMES:
BACK-UP original file:
1. Using Root Explorer, go to /system/app
2. copy DefaultThemes.apk (original)
3. paste it somewhere on your SD card where you can easily retrieve it later.
INSTALL new file:
1. Download file "DefaultThemes.apk" below
2. Using Root Explorer, go to "/system/app" and mount it as R/O.
3. Place the downloaded file here and replace existing file.
4. Set permission to rw-r-r.
5. (optional reboot) Done.

You need to have root access to use themes. You can find more information about rooting and other tweaking stuffs in ARC General section

Since we can't update our Search app to higher versions, I themed the GB search widget to look like ICS.

- Download the latest attached apk
- Install and you're done :good:
- Or push the apk into /system/app using Root Explorer or any related File Manger app

2. Root Explorer ( From the Attachment )

There are free apps that can do the same thing, such as ES File Explorer.
2) Not all devices have their boot animations in /system/media. Some are in /system/customize/resource or /data/local and maybe a couple other variations. And many Samsung devices that do not have custom roms installed can't use bootanimation.zips because they have a special format called qmg and have a slightly different set up.
