i have a ST25i with 6.1.1.B.1.54 stock ROM.
i used experience v2 rom before but returned to stock rom again.
i want to use miui on my XU. do you recommend me a ROM?
some apps like FM radio doesn't work on miui? is there a way to fix it?

miui is cool but wait until fix everything and you can vote here for xperia p and when xperia p get official one we can port it to xperia u

Thanks. So there are no official miui for xperia NXT's?

I installed MIUI on my xperia P, (wich is practically the same as U) and it was awful, very laggy, battery dropped from 100% to 0% in seconds, headphones weren't working neither automatic screen brightness.

I am using CM FXP and am happy with it mate.

I used to use CM 9.1 FXP too, the rom is pretty good but I was experiencing some problems with headphones and battery was worse. But without those problems I would have kept CM9.1

well the only rom of which other rom are modifications..... is fxp142..... it the most stable in terms of everydayUSE....
i am using it and am seriously astonished of how buttery it makes your phone
Afaik all JB Rom are based on Cm10 which make all of them have +/- the performance of cm10 including fxp and others..But anyway I recommend you to use FXP Rom.

FXP 142 CM10 is the best. Nearly no bugs and it's so fast. :good:
Don't use FXP 144 it has more bugs, touch freezes, etc...

Try the PACman Rom by AllenHu. The bugs are:
1. YouTube reboots
2. Accelerometer
3. Panorama in camera.

Camera preview not working, calculator has a fc, accelerometer must be reset with advanced tools before every use, proximity sensor works only if you fix it by changing some values.
And youtube sometimes reboots on watching videos, and the lights of the back and menu key not working.
That should be all, the only really annoying thing is the youtube reboot :good:

[Q] complete list of ics and jb rom available for mimmi u20i

Can you tell me also which is the better between ics rom? and then jb rom?
And why the one is better than others?
Hope you can answer my questions...because i'm on minicm7 stable version, not nightly, and i'm thinking to update to a newer version.

well
as far as i know
there are only 2 ics roms available
one is minicm9 by naa
and
the other one is arcmini ics
both are very good
but the volume is too high
if u want xperia style ics u should go for arcmini
if u want a normal ics u can go for mini cm9
and coming to the jb
well
there are 3-4 roms i guess
slim roms
sevenbean pro
minicm 10
and
jb (dnt know the rom's name)
in jb
u will find bugs like
screen will not wakeup sometimes
low sound quality (40 percent of gingerbread)
the video recorder lags
low ram bug
and dual touch bug
if u want it for daily use u can go for jb
and if u r looking for gaming
sorry bro
u r searching for something wrong
stick to ginger bread

Absolutely correct what you just said. The only thing i didn't agree is about the volume being high on ics, i tested arc mini ics4 and then i tested a ginger rom and then the stock rom, they all had the same volume and quality, so that means that those ics roms are very good in sound volume and quality. However i must agree that gingeroms are the best, the most fast, most smooth, most stable roms that are available, so i don't advise you isko95 to try ics or jb roms if you want great performance and great quality, stick to ginger they are the best.
Best rom? Gingersony, then Ac Mini Nxt6, then Stark v3, then Digdin Rom 1.8. I just realised that prime hd is worse than those roms i mentioned.
If i help press thanks .
which android version is better between ics and jb, and why (which are the complete list of bugs)??
because i only use apps (facebook, instagram, etc.) and i don't play games, most of the time i listen to music and at least i want working basic things (soft and hard keyboard, camera, video, panorama, etc)
well
ics roms are only 2 of them
i suggest u to go for arcmini ics
and
about jb
go for slim roms

well
if u use normal apps
they wont force close
u got to clean the memory most of the time
( u gotta do this on jb and ics )
and about the camera
u can take pics
but
the video is very laggy ( prob in ics and jb roms )
about the keyboard
u gotta set it up
when u boot the rom 1st
Sent from my U20i using Tapatalk 2
it's like i say, ics and jb roms are not ready for day to day use yet, very slow and if you want it faster by changing to above 600mhz max then you'll have more battery drain. You listen to music? then jb is not for you, buggy LOW sound. Ics has very good sound just like stock rom. The other apss and stuff are just bad in performance but i think they work. honestly, stay Ginger, it's the better choice if you want speed performance and quality.
press thanks if i helped .
so can you make the classification of all the gingerbread rom from the best first?

Sure . The best for games battery etc is Arc Mini NXT 6, but i advise you to remove some apps from root explorer because some of them have force close. The second best is Gingersony v6, you just have to install a led fix and it's all good, and remove the youtube app that has force closes, this is the only rom that automatically saves the Effect Rendering Option, and good battery life and very stable and fast. Third place goes to Stark v3, only the walkman player doesn't work but has good battery life and good performance. I'm using Gingersony just because i don't like the colors of the sms app in Arc Mini Nxt 6 ( the best rom ) xD. I also advise for better battery and remain the performance: 480mhz max/19mhz min, compcache disabled, card cache 4096kb, disable boot animation and disable animation effects, reduce the brightness, use 2g networks and gsm.
If i helped you, press thanks .

Buy another phone mate
Sola doesn't have jb and has 512mb ram. I suggest you sony xperia p if you don't want to spend more money 1gb ram and official jb.
Anyway back on topic:
1)GB: Good battery life, stable, no lags, dialer not lags.
2)ICS: battery life not so good, lags like hell dialer. Sometimes is really annoying have to wait 3-5 secs to make dialer open. Although, there are really good mods for ics on apps section that will not work on gb.

Why don't you install a cm9 or cm10 theme from playstore? If you don't care about smoothness, battery life etc, I think a custom theme or a custom launcher, like apex, is the one that suites you more.
I know that i can install launchers but i want that my settings app look like that one in cm9 i was installed firedroid on my xp but camera doesnt work on it and now developer dont have any xperias to test this rom so we can say that this project is probably dead. Otherwise i really liked that rom. If camera will be working on it it will be best rom ever on xperia p lb. Anyway thanks for answer
