The rom itself may not contain a offline charging, so thats why it amy not charge when your phone is off

Also why would you like the charge the phone offline?

Charging when the CPU is completely inactive is good. It charges faster too.when u charge the normal way, CPU wont be inactive as there will be background processes.
Btw where is the CITY India?
Don't forget to hit thanks

i heard that mesa have offline charging problem, but mesa 3.2 maybe had been fixed, maybe your rom

While charging offline you will not receive any calls, messages or any notifications nor you could use it. Intentionally charging offline is not a good option according to me.

you can try one of this pack content, offline charging fix.mediafire.com/?hlkqvajmt2e5bhu

[Q] Battery Usage - Could a reboot not re-initialize it ??

Hey Everyone,
So here's the deal, as many users here my X10 keeps on rebooting for no reasons, its annoying but I kind of get used to it now... But what really pisses me off is that it forces the stock android Battery usage tool to re initialize (I ve tried many different apps but I didnt find one as complete as for time screen is on, time with no connexion, accurate % of apps etc...)
Do anyone know a little tweak to make all the stats re initalize ONLY when I plug my X10 and not when it reboots/shutdown.. ? Or if not if you know maybe the perfect app for that ?
Thanks a lot guys

It's not normal that your x10 is rebooting randomly. Maybe reinstall the firm!
The best way to track your batt stats is from dialer *#*#4636#*#* and go in Battery history.
Not normal you say ? I thought it was a well known internal issue of the X10 battery as I saw on so many forums people with this issue.. I think Im waiting a little more before there is a very complete 2.3 rom so dont really want to go through the process of reinstalling the firm now :-s
Thanks for the dialing tips, I went and checked it out nevertheless its not quite as straight forward and simple as the one in the parameters (and some % look fishy, like the screen at only 7% :-s..)
It's not normal to reboot on stock SE ROM, maybe if there is installed some custom ROM with crappy instalation not following all the steps correctly!
About the stats...these are more reliable than when you check them through settings. And you can choose wheter you want to see the CPU usage, Network usage and so on.

Best Rom for me?

Unfortunately I am not very happy with Urukdroid 1.0
I have freezes rather often. (example: I listened to music via headphone, switched the device off for the night and when turning on Launcher Pro was not responding. After 2 minutes of waiting (not rebooting) it is working again)
Furthermore my WLAN Problem:
Constant drops and reconnects and sometimes a boot loop draining battery.
Can you tell me which would be the perfect ROM for me?
I think I'd like stock ROM 2.3.20 as cinema plugin is included.
Is there a way to make it as fast as Urukdroid?
A higher Rom would be not wise as there were reports of lower battery life.

According to your description you should try it like me:
I had Archos 2.3.26 (Cinema) , Urukdroid and Cyan running
With the openAOS Boot Menu (Look at my full instructions thread here)
No, I only want one Rom.
I don't want to restart the device all the time and change rom (or kernel).

Need some help! Screen won`t turn back on after standby mode!

Hi,
I can see that there are similar threads out here. But I can`t find ONE with a good answer about what can be wrong, and specialy how to solve the problem.
Like the other ones who have this problem I have a brand new Galaxy S3 who was not rooted. Stock ROM (Now I tried too root it, but still have the same problem.)
So, the problem is that when I press the power button to make the phone go to standby mode, it won`t turn back on from standby to normal mode again when I press HOME button or power button. What I have to do is hold in the power button until it has been restarted.
It looks like the phone uses alot of battery also.
The same problem can accure when I am talking in the phone. When I am about to hang up, the screen is completely black and I cant press anything, only the powerbutton to make a "hardreset".
Every problem can be solved, but many of them take a little bit more time to find a solution for.
So, can anyone please help me with this problem? It is driving me nuts!
(I have tried to switch of the wifi btw )
As previous thread, change the kernel. Rooting only not solve this problem..

I have now tried to put in a new kernel.
The Kernel is :
3.0.15-franco.Kernel
[email protected] #11
Build Nr.
Omega v9.0 - XXBLG1
I still have the same problem, when I have allot of battery ( 90-100 % ) there is no problem. But as soon as the battery reach 50 % or below, the phone wont wake up from standby mode.
What can I do? I hope that someone have a good answer and a solution for me and for everybody else who may have this problem.
Maybe to high clockspeed or undervolted to much? Could be a freeze. Or maybe a crashed system app.

Okey,
Since I am quite new at this with rooting and stuff, how can I fix my problem?
I am open for a total wipe of my phone if that can help.
But if it is so easy to set down the clockspeed or fix the undervolt I hope someone have a problem fix
If it is a system app the total wipe would fix it?

Modem (baseband version) is I9300XLF3..
After I flash franco kernel the phone restarted it self and i tought that everything was done. I have not done anything else with the phone after that regarding flash..
Is there anything I can try to do in the franco kernel update app?
I am a bit noob, so I am not following what you mean by scripts in init.d I tried to find it on the phone, but I am probably thinking wrong hehe
my comment is missing.
Better you ask in your kernel thread since you flash custom kernel.

I have 2 phones here.. One is mine and one is my friends phone. We have exactly the same kernel and the same rom.
Also the same modem.
Do you think to change the modem would help? I think it`s quite strange if we have exactly the same.
Maybe it would help to put in the ROM to wipe the phone? So the stock ROM would be gone.
I am going to find out this problem one way or another
Try to do a factory reset...it workd fr me
Do you have weather on lock screen enable? I disable my friend's phone, no more freeze.

I have now taken a factory reset. + that I have put in the OMEGA Rom again and the Franco kernel. All this after I have tested the phone to see if it was working.
But it seems like I have the same problem. But not that often. Maybe when I get batterylevel under 30 %.

I still have the same problem. I can not predict when the phone is going into freeze. Hope someone can find out what can causing the problem.
I have tried to observe how the phone is acting the couple of days.
It uses alot of battery. I take out the charger at 0800 at the morning.. When the clock is 1700 i have 20% battery.. This is after several restarts during the day..
It seems like if I put the phone in my pocket it freezes. Could be a coincidence.
The phone won't take charging when it has gone into "freezemode"..
This might help

I had a similar issue with the phone and what i do to make it go away is , after every restart , or battery pull , u let it sit for a second to load up everything then u open up u'r dallier and dial *#0011# this will take u to the service menu , once there u press the"menu" button on the phone and chose "WiFi" .. u should have a button there that says "On" with a blue line underneath , click on it then exit the menu and enjoy
as i understand this has something to do with the " power saving mode" for wifi , the problem for me started after i uploaded a huge amount of data to dropbox ... (40~ GB of photos and Videos) so i might of ****ed up the wifi chip or something
I found this to work after reading a few threads on the forum , it's not a permanent fix but it dose the job for me
I wold like to thank whomever came up with this , but i can't remember who it was

[Q] samsung galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) power button lag

Hi all
I have problem with power button lag. When i push power button it takes 2-3 sec to light up display when i uses original sammsung 4.1.2 ROM it was a method to eliminate that with pluged in usb throught OTG cable and lag is gone but i rooted my phone and instal this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705866 and there is same lag about 3-4 sec and method with USB flash didn t work so i wonna ask if it is problem with device android or touchwiz because i had many phoden and non of them does have this type of lag. Or if you can reccomend me ROM that has not have this lag i will be grateful
P.S.: sorry for my english
The 4.3 release has lag on wake up, no cure yet.
Don't ask for rom recommends, it's against the rules.
this is a pretty stupid rule but okey if someone had experiens with ROM that dont have this lag pls contact me on [email protected] thanks
There have been reports that changing the CPU govenor to ondemand reduces the lag. I tried this myself and can confirm it's working, at least on Wanamlite's ROM.

Download any app that allows you access to CPU controls like SetCPU, TricksterMod.. Etc and remember to set apply on boot so you don't have to keep enabling it manually with every boot up.

[Q] [HELP] S3 Automatically Turns On when plugged in

Hi everyone
Last night, when i plugged my usb charger to my S3 since it was drained, my phone suddenly turns on without hitting the power button,
I tried turning it off, then plugged again, the Grey battery icon with progress showed but then i was hoping to see the battery icon with green color (the usual icon when it is charging) instead it turned on.
I tried, installing stock rom, Official one, and everything is ok, phone doesnt turn on
Tried clearing cache and dalvik, same turning on happened
Tried installing a fresh ROM, still it turned on after plugged in
Can you help me guys... It doesnt affect my phone, but its quite annoying.
Thanks guys

Simple, expand notification bar, then switch to rapid settings screen, here you find offline/airplane mode(depends on translation), the one with the airplane icon, after you enabled this all networks(cell net. Wifi bt ecc...) will be shut down, you can re enable wifi if u want to surf web , i suggest you to reboot the phone sometime(one every 1 or 2 days).

That is not true. I have never experienced such an issue on any rom I have flashed, I also did a quick search here on xda and cannot find anyone else with this problem.
@cgren
Does this only happen on one specific rom?
Since it does not happen in stock it might be an option in the rom/kernel you have chosen but since you have given no information I cannot check for you.

For several days, i have tried number of AOSP and Samsung based custom roms 4.4.X it same thing happens.
But on Official Samsung Roms Everything is ok.
No biggie. As long as it doesnt affect my phone's performance its fine with me. :victory:
