im not sure but i was told that one clickroot works just Google it and u will see in the same site they say it works for MMXA116:laugh:

facing battery problem after rooting canvas hd
guys i am using canvas hd for the past 1 month.. recently i rooted it.. rooting was successful since i followed xda root method. But since rooting i am facing a serious battery performance issue... earlier before rooting i could use my for continuously at a stretch of 7 hours but now the battery goes down in 4 hours itself.. has rooting got to do anything with it?? also i have not installed any root requiring apps yet on my phone... my usage is same as it was before rooting.. kindly help...

No. Rooting has nothing to do with it. root just unlocks the phone and lets you access/modify the system files. Root itself does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Hi,
Earlier I was not able to root by this method. But now cracked it using the same method. I was not able to make my phone getting detected in SP Flash tools.
It needs you to give run as admin even though you are logged In as admin. Anyway got it rooted. Thanks a lot for the response.....

Just run the flash tool as administrator, did the job for me. Earlier was facing the same issue. Just follow the video as it is you should be able to root it.

How can i root using TWRP recovery?
Can i use this same method to root using TWRP? some say the auto root feature does not work. how can i root my hd using twrp? Is there a different Procedure to do? pls give me the steps.. pls help.. thx in advance..

Are u sure that nothing else is different? The same method is used for twrp?

Solution: SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: ( 8200 )
For those who are facing issues with the SP Flash Tool error, where in your Phone is recognized by the Flash tool but towards the end it shows incompatibility, all you need to do is uodate to the latest SP Flash tool - SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1248.0.96. Hit thanks if this helped

Just update to the recent version of SP Flash Tools. I had faced the same issue, updating the Flash Tool did the trick for me

Check IMEI numbers under About Phone Information. If IMEI are showing as "unknown" then it is serious problem.
There is IMEI repair thread also, but it did not work for my friend. May be it will work for you. My friend had to send phone to Service Center.
Not me, but experts here say that is not safe to use Clockworkmod (CWM) which give weird problem and they advised to use "TWRP".

I dedicated my whole work into canvas while rooting...! I followed every simple step u said.... Drivers installed.... su. Bin n super users r transfered to the internal memory... Runned sp flash tool as an administrator..... Everything as u said.. N also debugging mode was also switched on..! I connected the mob without the battery... N started Using flashing tool I did the process as u said..! But after all these also my phone not getting rooted... It's not even detected..! So I used that alternated file u said too download from tt something called gogl/ something like this... Even that isn't working... N after this unsuccessful thing.. Now my apps r crashing.!.... Plz suggest me wat. To do...! Plz Plz Plz n my mob is brand new..! - micromax canvas Hd.

Dude follow this method it just takes min to root ur phone without removing ur battery and stuffs

now i want to unroot phone and want it to be as factory reseted with original rom with 4.1.1
