4mA deep sleep? - HTC EVO 3D

I'm just curious about this 4mA deep sleep thing that I have on touchpad. I was using CM7 based Rom and would have about 2 days on battery on a really light use. Almost standby. But I installe CM10 based 4 days ago and after a full charge, I haven't charged it since. With same amount of really light use and mostly standby.
So I just wanted to know if this could be done to our 3d's too. I'm not a developer, nowhere even close to it, so I don't know that what I asked, if it makes sense here or no.
Any thoughts? Help? Comments?
Sorry for low quality pictures, took them with my 3d.

I really want to get a evo but I'm worried about the battery life. I do 2 things on a smartphone:
-Listen to music
-browse the web
I do this non stop until the battery runs out. Can someone tell me what battery life/ screen time you get when doing this.

In my experience the battery life on the EVO LTE is great, but it varies more than other phones I've used, based on how I use it. graphics-intensive games and other apps that keep the screen on and run the processor at the same time use it the most. You can do plenty of web browsing provided you keep the screen brightness halfway down, I use the automatic setting and don't notice much battery drain when browsing, but if you turn the brightness to it's highest setting you'll definitely notice more battery drain. I love the 4.7" screen but there's no way a screen that big isn't going to draw a lot of power with the backlight turned up. As for streaming music, that's no problem. I've listened to pandora for hours at a time with the screen off and only seen single-digit drops in battery percentage.
bro i thought the same thing cause u cant remove the battery.. but let me tell u i get great battery life out this phone... i had the og evo and the evo 3d.. and now evo lte.. this phone kicks major a$$!!!!!!

Battery life tops most cells I have ever owned.. LTE 4 g not as stable for some compared to other comparible cells but you didn't state that as requirement..

I use mine heavily for many graphics and radio intensive applications, and routinely get 14 or more hours on a charge. GPS is the one thing that will drop me below that. My brother has a galaxy s3 and gets much less.
I use meanrom, overclocked.

I for one think that the battery life sucks on this phone. But I only can compare to the phone i had before the droid x from verizon, I could go 24 hours on the droid x but on the evo I get around 16 on normal everyday usage. now suppose I came from the evo or evo 3d phones and had a phone with that drained the power off the phone then I would be saying this phones battery rocks.
but with that all being said 16 hours on a smart phone really is not that bad.

Battery life so far - moderate usage

My battery life so far. WiFi on while at apartment since I have spotty connection. Used GPS for about 20 min and listened to Pandora for 1.75hrs. Brightness auto at 40%. Using fast dormancy .apk enabled.
I feel like this is pretty good batt life for moderate usage. Maybe this will give some sort of base to someone who feels they have a bad battery.
Ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
....I hope the pics come out better quality than my last post haha

Screen on time is there on one of the better battery stats pictures (last one and towards the end of the picture). It is at 2 hours 4 minutes at that percentage point.

Wait isn't fast dormancy suppose to be .apk disabled? Its enabled by default meaning your suppose to disable to actually disable fast dormancy.

Ahhh, deep sleep at last.
This is all stock no mods whatsoever. Screen time is all web browsing. 40% brightness. Maybe an hour on 4g and the rest on WiFi. Bluetooth on but not connected. Don't know if this is normal. Wish it were better. If any of you guys are getting better let me know. I can still return for another.

That's normal, 6.5hrs of screen on time with wifi on and the phone being on for about 7.5hrs is good. If you are getting 3-5hrs throughout a day, I myself, consider that fine.
35 hrs and still @ 9%
I'm having no issues. I did a "conditioning" week and have been pleased so far. I'll admit its fairly light usage, but better than any other phone I've had.

Basically, as soon as I pulled it out of the box, I drain the battery until it turns itself off, then recharge from there. I do this cycle for at least a full week...drain to empty, charge to full.....I actually did it for about 10 days with this device. Essentially, I treat it like an old ni-cad battery for that first week.
There is absolutely NO science or expertise behind this. I know a lot of people say that lithium batteries don't require it and it doesn't affect it, but its something I do....and it definitely can't hurt.
Except only that it does hurt Li-on and Li-Po batteries
There is an article on battery University about this

My battery life has been awesome so far. I don't charge my phone at night so I like to go to sleep with it how it is. I consistently lose maybe 1% a night. Standby on my GS3 killed my battery.
Back to stock. Battery still amazing.

on and off wifi usage, viber, 9gag, few calls and still i got 18% on single charge running for 2days and 4hours. after that it went upto 2days 10hrs at 4% at which i put to charge again.
i m not using any apps to get more battery. my theory is if you keep the ram cleaned with the provided task manager in between, you can get some more. as for display brightness it keep in manual mode, cos when you have to keep the sensor running and the screen suddenly gaining brightness on and off it will take some juice outta of your battery. plus not much of a gamer on mobile.
Something went wrong.

My legit and the best battery life so far. Usage: downloaded a lot of games total 400+mb ish, whatsapp a lot, gaming for 1 hour, music for 2 hours, 15 mins browsing the web, I just preferred to browse on my pc anyway, and standby deepsleep for 12 hours.
I'm still impressed.
Oh also I froze all the apps that prevents deepsleep such as google+ and google maps.

I was rooted, but took the OTA and lost root. My battery has taken a hit as well. I'm doing everything the same and have set it up as I had it with ICS. I didn't even reinstall all my apps yet, I'm pretty much clean save for a few daily apps.

My battery seems to drop slightly faster than before OTA. Still can last 10-12 hours with moderate use. I tend to plug in now if I plan energy intense things like playing videos.

Battery drain is not a little worse. It is significantly worse, using all the same settings on JB as I did with ICS. I don't personally consider turning off LTE a fix, as a lot of us, including myself, bought the phone for LTE, waited ages for Sprint to actually get the towers functioning, and now, I have to disable it? It just started working in LA Metro consistently, 1-2 weeks ago. Unacceptable.
Now, we all get to wait for months for the next update, which will fix 5 things and break 10?
Watch... The 4.2 update will be pushed out OTA as soon as the new EVO is released, which makes this EVO look lik an abacus.
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
I've been using Stock rooted deodexed, Stock with goodies and SuperJELLY roms, and I feel the battery as good as before the JB update, or maybe better
Mines definitely worse. I have no numbers or data to back that up with, except that before the update my phone would sleep for hours with very little drain. Now it drains several percent every hour while sleeping. And yes, it is sleeping. Generally speaking I'm unhappy with this update and wish I would've remained on ics.

My battery was losing about 10%per hour whereas before the update it was about 6%. I did a factory reset last night so I'm hoping that will help. Incidently, after I did this I noticed that I was able to assign hepatic feedback for the capacitive buttons (it was grayed out after the update) and the setting toggles are now blue. So the reset must have fixed some glitches.

I'm waiting on the RUU to get a full factory wipe and hopefully that cleans things and get's it all working fine.
I've also noticed a significant drop. I'm completely stock. Not rooted. I put off rooting because I had no issues with this device. It did everything I wanted it to. But since the update I've noticed my battery life isn't what it used to be. I thought i was alone in this until I saw this thread.

I had some issues with my battery when I got it. Turns out the stock clock/weather thing on the lock screen couldn't get a lock on my position (just kept saying "current location"), and would run GPS for 10 seconds whenever I unlocked my phone. After fiddling with GPS and the weather settings themselves for awhile to no avail, I said F it and just let it happen. Eventually it got a lock and since then battery life has been fine.

Buy a new phone.
I started this morning around 75% and got to 8% in about 8 hours of heavy usage. I must have sent a few hundred texts today along with a bunch of snapchats, took a bunch of pictures, web browsing, some Navigation use, an hour or so of Skyping, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Battery saver was on, but I had data running all day, Wifi and LTE per the situation. It actually said that Messaging was the main battery hog at 32%.
What I've taken from it is that if you're going to be using the phone heavily, it doesn't hurt to have a charger.
Where do you guys see how much screen time is used? I don't see it with sense
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
Weird, my battery just went from 8% to 32% from being on the charger for a few minutes.
I guess it's not calibrated very accurately yet.
