Have you tried flashing a different modem. It might solve your problem. You can find flashable modem thread in the general section.

As to my experience, most of the problem arises due to uninstallation not done proplery. Because of this old files do not get erased from the memory and causes conflict.
I would advise you to use rom clean script and do a fresh install oof rom

I cant hear other person and they cant hear me after flashing unNamed rom

I rooted my att galaxy s2 last night and flashed the unNamed rom. Everything seems to be working great except phone calls. The other person can't hear me and i cant hear them out of the earpiece nor on speaker phone. Anyone heard of this? I didn't make any phone calls afyer i only did the root, before flashing the rom so im not sure if something went wrong with the root or if it went wrong in flashing the rom. Thanks on advance.

That's weird... That's usually a symptom of flashing an I9100 ROM.
Did you do a wipe data/factory reset when flashing?
No i made sure it was the I777 version on the rom. The speaker works fine on music and the mic works on voice recorder, it's just on phone calls.

Weird. Check to make sure Baseband in Settings->About Phone is UCKH7.
If it is you're good there - might just need to reflash.
Strange the baseband in settings says i9100xxk13
Strange thing is my menu buttons work just fine unlike previous roms that i accidentally flashed in tge past that were for 9100.

at some point, you flashed an i9100 modem.....unnamed doesnt flash a modem
Ok yeah the rom i flashed before unnamed. I believe it was revolution it had my phone all messed up. So what's the easiest way of going back to the correct modem? Sorry I'm new to all this galaxy stuff. My inspire was so much easier lol.

you need the modem package from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432
this is why you dont flash things you dont understand....and please dont drag unnamed rom and gtg's name through the dirt with the title of this thread....it wasnt his rom that screwed it up.

Honestly helps, if you said you flashed another ROM first, the first reply would have solved the problem and nobody would fault you. But from your explanation, you only rooted the phone and flashed unnamed which makes it look like a problem with the ROM to anyone coming here looking to evaluate which ROM to use. As the person above me said, you make the Dev and Unnamed look bad by your mistake.

Might be a good idea to include modems with the roms now. Just for these reason...

(Help)(Request)wifi problems

Im having wifi random disconections everytime i use another stock based rom that isnt 2.3.4 (S5830BVJKP4_VJKP2_ZVVKP1) that is the last baseband based on 2.3.4 that works and wifi is stable (without disconections). So this request goes specially to spacecaker beacuse i think he is really kind and take most request so i hope mine is not too problematic.I request Revolution meizu for example or any of his great roms but based on 2.3.4 S5830BVJKP4_VJKP2_ZVVKP1,Could it be possible?,and if not maybe someone can come up for a solution to my problem?, i already tried copying wifi related files from my old stock rom to the new ones without luck, i tried to flash the modem from stock rom with odin without luck so i really need serious professional help here, please do help me im desperate

Have you uncheck WiFi sleeeps when screen off?
Sent from my WAREZ impulses.
of course, that is one of the first things i tried
Yeah, I've got the same issue. Not bothering me right now because I'm using CM7, but really annoying if I want to get back to Stock.
Wifi has been ALWAYS a mess, (SOD, WPA2-enterprise problems, now this) SHAME ON YOU, SAMSUNG.

i think that is something related to dhcp , that it varies depending on the router, i read that if you change some value the wifi wont disconect anymore, but hey you cant just going everywhere configuring someones router ,i do believe its google`s android fault, it must be a bug or something.Anyway any chance that someone makes a 2.3.4 custom based rom?
so can anybody take on my request?

For my experience I can say: you won't get any satisfactory solution, I've tried, believe me. If you want a stock rom, just flash another ROM without the issue (2.3.4 and lower). This sucks, but it doesn't get any better. Sorry.
its totally unvelivable, nobody has any solution?? is this a android bug?, well i guess i should give up then, back to 2.3.4 or to cyanogen mod
buy another routers

last night i flashed new version. there is no problem till this time. but i may see this problem in one week.
i think its about MODEM driver. if i have this problem again, i will try to use other modems.
please try this modems for your device.

if you success please let me know. write the result here please.
Try enabling lock screen sounds, I seem to remember this issue was caused by that, you had to enable it before making your first call after a flash, after that I think it was ok

Maybe its your carrier that either does not support 3g, or u simply cant get 3g comnection from where u live in cause the company u use doesnt push 3g all the way to your area(happens if you live in a place where not many other people live, or far away from town centres and stuff).
Remember to check the options in the more info(right below bluwtooth and data usage in stock rom) insinde the phone settings

Have u tried some other roms or flashing a fresh stock one? It is known that upgrading the stock roms often causes stupid troubles...
It might also be a problem with your modem...anyhow 3g is not that necessary the way i see it (unless u need it for browsing the web)

i upgraded with odin , i try format system, data & cache then flash rom ,, same issue.
3g is not Important in all country except syria, u need 3g when electricity turn off, and to use it in any palace not in closed place like WI-Fi
R: [Q] 3G doesn't work in jellyBean
Damn...i heard u guys in syria are having a really bad time, this stuff must be frustrating.
Well there may be a couple of options:
1)in syria there have been some problems and 3g is not getting really well to ur area anymore
2)your rom is unstable or just stupid(in this case i suggest flashing a good custom rom)
3)youflashing processes may have lead you to flash a rom meant for a nother regional residence(either the stock one u flashed through odin, or something else u flashed), in this case the "modem" of your phone(it's the kinda way your phone gets cellular data...kinda like an antenna kernel but i have no idea what it is just that it controls your antenna receiving/sending connections) might be wrong. Different modems exist according to where u live (or what operator u use i think as well). Try going on the web and looking for a modem that works in syria and try putting it back onto ur phone(i dont know how, look for it on google).

R: [Q] 3G doesn't work in jellyBean
Good kernel: http://www.gokhanmoral.com/
If u flash i through odin get the tar version, if not and u flash it thru recovery get cwm package. Be sure to get the one for galaxy s3. About battery usage...im not sure...because i have a 2800 battery i got off ebay and it makes my phone last a whole lot longer, if u have battery problems in syria (like the power being shut down for a couple of hourse at times) u should get yourself a battery like this as well, it doesnt cost much.
Plus getting a custom rom is best, i wouldnt cound on kernel fixing your problems too much, give rootbox or jellybam a try. Or cyanogen if u wish but i dont thinks its very stable yet.
Also it is smart to get the latest version of your clockworkmod recovery, to do so download off the store the official app called "rom manager", u can use ut to update the recovery.

and the english is not a problem im italian myself, i dont speak perfect english either
But abkut the rom: if ure sure cyanogen works with 3g try it...
I dont like it either so even though im still on stock ive been doing some research and ive come to the conclusion the best choiche for me would probably be jellybam. A good rom is foxhound(but it is heavy on features) or rootbox(not sure if fully developed yet...).
give jellybam a try just in case.
I dont have many more ideas to help you with your problem as you seem pretty self-conscient of how to flash stuff...i hope someone else can help you, but if i were u i would try flashing some roms and messing around a bit with the connectikn method for data inside rom preferences. the problem is: the phone is not to me, and his owner doesn't like any rom except stock rom
R: [Q] 3G doesn't work in jellyBean
Aaahhhhh the phone isnt yours...damn that makes it even more difficult to fix the problem, even more so if you know it used to work before, but when u changed rom (or put th same one but with odin) it stopped working. That practically means u HAVE to change rom to make it work.....well try flashing stock rom for rooted devices from somewhere else but its gonna be difficult sorting this out if the owner wont cooperate.
I seriously doubt kernel will make some sort of magical changes...

Lost capabilities after Wipe Internal Storage

Hi guys..
Two days ago, I made a wipe of the internal storage of my Galaxy 2. I don't know why after it, I lost a pone capabilities like, listen my phone calls. Actually, the phone is working as well as I like but, when I try to make any phone call, no sound on it.
Before the wipe, no problema was reported. It's not the first time I made a wipe. Ocasionally, I practice it to help the phone to work soft.
I don;t know if have to visit a technical support to check the internal parts like soung buttons controls or internal speaker.
Sorry for my English and thanks in advance for any help.
Is it able to play any kind of sound from its speaker ?
If it can then the speaker is all right
You can try reflashing the ROM.

Because you were hellraising, remember that the 9100 Samsung roms will flash one of their modems in place of whatever you had installed, so you'll need to flash one of our modems after you've flashed the ported Sammy rom. So it makes sense that ShoStock would have fixed that.
The AOSP roms won't replace the modem.
Don't know if that was your problem, but there it is.
