Hi, Im currently using CM 10.1 (nightly builds not something custom) and I really miss the music player from
touchwiz... Is there any way of using it on a not touhcwiz rom?

i dont think its possible. But there are so many music players which sounds better than stock player with DSP manager

i was impressed by the music player on Samsung Galaxy R(android 2.3.6)
and i've tried to install that player on my Xperia mini
but it failed
i extracted the music player from Samsung Galaxy R
could someone teach me to install it?
i thought there must be some modifications on that apk
could someone help me edit it to work?

It maybe possible by changing device details in a system file. I don't remember the name of that file. You need root though and Root Explorer.

ya Galaxy series have a nice music player(better than Xperia Mini). It would be nice to get a port.
It requires the TouchWiz framework, So unless someone was to port a complete Rom, it wont work
Out of curiosity, Why Samsungs music player? I had a Galaxy Ace before my Live and I absolutely hated the music player. It's a resource hog and constantly crashes, its not nice :L

Oh,it might be a complicated work....
Well I like the EQ in the player
And it never crashes
Maybe there are some bugs fixed in 2.3.6

mine went crazy. at first touch to focus doesn't work as the focus went crazy...
will be glad that if they can port the Galaxy S3's camera and music app; :fingers-crossed:

Hi, I'm with JB 4.2.2 Avatar ROM now and I like it very much. But I miss the Stock Froyo Music player and the Note apps. Is there any way to install them in JB? Thak you!
It can't really hurt to try. If it doesn't work you can go with google play music app, its almost as good(if we are thinking about the same froyo music app ).

Hmmm...here it is....tested on AOKP roms but should works in GB and ICS roms.....combined it Viper4Andriod sound mod then you will have a perfect music player.....
i haven't have the time to mod this to fit MDPI devices but still it does work....

try ZPlayer. for me best player. no need any sound mods. sound is good and looks nice
So, yeah... Can anyone suggest a Third-Party Music Player that only consumes about 15MB of RAM or less (if possible)?
Cause I have a 301MB RAM (140MB Available), and my Stock Player (Apollo) uses about 18MB (Using CM9)...
Apollo is quite good, but it lacks tweaks and customizability (if that's even a word ), especially for Widgets
So, uhmm... Anything?

But I guess I won't be going with MIUI Player, since I have V4A as Audio FX... And the App has issues with MIUI Player, so maybe I'll try that Omich thing
