This is a sincere request to all the Dev's to please include the HDMI enable/disable capability in their roms.........people like who have a buggy HDMI port are unable to use the custom since the phone gets locked in landscape mode.........and hence we have to stick to the stock rom

I saw this video at http://www.phonearena.com/news/Motorola-DROID-X2-HDMI-out-Demonstration_id19011 and i was thinking if it was possible to do this on the Atrix. I've seen some other threads that show how to do modifications to the build.prop file but it doesn't provide full support for landscape mode, for example.
On all 4.0 stock ROMs for the Mediapad i can use the TV, which I connected with HDMI, as a secondary screen and turn off the tablet screen seperately. The image is outputted in 1080p as my display shows me and when Android detects video, like Youtube, another videoplayer or even on Flash Player it automatically removes the navbar and the black bar on the sides because of the 16:10 format of the tablet.
But on the CM and AOKP custom roms with Jelly Bean this functionality apparently was removed. :/ It's cool that there is even an image output on HDMI (thanks to the dev^^), because for a long time the output on CM was quite buggy. But because it's always outputted on 720p with black bars on the sides and when i play video it doesn't switches in fullscreen, as it did in ICS, the HDMI output is quite useless for me.
Is there any possibility to add those functions back, change the hdmi resolution or just maybe readd the automatic fullscreen switch for videos?
I already searched and looked through many threads and it looks like the ASUS Transformer Pads also got this problem with the Jelly Bean 4.2 update and the Nexus 10 got the same problem. I found an this script for the Nexus 10 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2278508) and tried it, but it just messed up my UI, so I had to wipe, and didn't even changed the HDMI output resolution. I also found these two apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.forbitel.screensettings&hl=de and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2300248), but I really don't know if they're gonna work, because even if it says in the description of the "Screen Settings" app, that it's for devices with screens larger than 4.5 inch, it looks like they're intented for the Nexus 10 and I really don't want to mess up my UI again, just to wipe install everything one more time
Hello,
I have an CUBOT S222 smartphone (surely you haven't heard about it because it is a chinese phone but it's working fine and stable like any other) it runs android 4.2.2 jellybean without any UI, it has the default android UI.
I have tried to use the screen mirroring feature on my Samsung smart tv and all works fine excepting the image that is blurry somehow like in the 3D shutter mode but i have not enabled any 3D conversion or other things like that. I have heard that a cause can be the bad wi-fi signal but mine is pretty strong.
I don't know what I must do to fix the blurred image if it can be fixed.
Any attempt to help is welcome.
Thanks!

New to all the custom ROMs for HTC ReZound, but its been a long time coming.
I'm hoping to see people respond with experience in using ROMs on this device.
What I'm looking for is a Custom ROM that enables me the use of these features:
*Android version 4.1 or above
*A fully working Camera app with no bugs what so ever. ( not the restart phone after 3 videos )
*Ability to stream HD content with no bugs as well. ( no issues with HD playback via youtube-netflix-pornhub lol )
*Access to create a swap file ( ROEHSOFT Memory Info & Swap / ROEHSOFT RAM Expander )
Now I know this phone is old but it still got lots of life in it and its a good phone! It has been a while so I'm sure there is ROMS out there that support all this. I just don't know where to begin to look.
So I'm looking for the experience from this wonderful community to help shine some light in my direction. Big Thanks to everyone here. with all the help and support!
closing using CM10.2/Snuzzo Kernel
Hello,
I would like to ask whether it is possible to have a working build of Lineage OS with stable xposed and ideally high-speed camera with manual capabilities? If I'm not mistaken it should be possible to shoot into RAW, however I am more interested in slow-mo, ideally in style of samsung's camera, where you can choose what to make slower and it still retains sound. For now I am using sultan mod where I can shoot 120fps with sound which is good for postprocess too.
So if you have some ideas or links, I would be really happy as navigating through this forum with so many options is quite hard. Thanks!
