anyone have newest radio for note 2 recovery flashable? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I just 'jailbroke' my new Note 2 using AdamOutler's method before taking the OTA that VZW was trying to push out to me. I'm runnin g Scott's CleanROM SE 1.5, but currently on VRALJB baseband. So I'm wondering if there's a radio zip that I can flash through recovery to get the newest radio that came with the OTA.

First question, if you are stock unrooted then just update as normal. If rooted, do the all-in-one file on Freeza's thread through recovery - label it PG86IMG. Once complete delete the file. then you can flash the updated stock rooted ROM.
My only change is I'm running anthrax rls 9, I didn't do the update normally because I didn't want to loose root. So I will be fine skipping the .3 update? In that case thank you.

If you are on hboot 1.5 you can always unroot, take the update and re-root. Just make a nandroid first. You should be fine, but I am on 1.4 so I haven't taken any updates. Just wait for scott to update cleanrom based on an update and then flash it.

[Q] upgrade firmware from gb to ICS

Okay, So I've got s-off, unlocked, rooted, all of that stuff going on right now. I've been reading through and I'm so confused on how to upgrade from stock GB to ICS. I see so many methods for different roms, Can someone point me in the direction in I need to go? I'm currently running software number 2.01.605.11 w/ PRI 1.13_002, 1.88_002
Depends what you want to do....
If you dont care for new radios and such, flash an ics Rom of your choosing and then flash the old firmware patch.
If you want new radios run an ics ruu (2 times, 1st time only updates some stuff and you'll have issues unless you do it 2 times) then flash an ics Rom of your choosing.
Also upgrade to amon ra 3.15 if you are on an older version. 3.15 is updated for the changes in ics

Ok, I would like the latest RUU, but do I flash through recovery, or rename and flash through hboot or something?
EDIT: I currently am running Ra 3.15
Flash through hboot as a ph98IMG
Run it twice then you'll need to put amon ra 3.15 again.
I'll attach a copy of amon ra 3.15..... You can rename it to ph98img and flash it in bootloader the same way. Or you can use whatever way you prefer.

Thanks, That's what I thought. I use to be familiar with this when I was using my thunderbolt. But "upgraded" to the LG spectrum and there was absolutely no development for that phone for the 4 months I had it. So I lost touch. BTW never get that phone. I honestly hated it more than any apple product...which to me is a lot of hate
Ok, so I flashed the 3.14.605.5 Ice Cream Sandwich ZIP RUU, I'm still s-off, unlocked and running RA 3.15 . but now it saying I'm not rooted.
Can't you root it again through AmonRa??
I believe there is an issue with ICS. Just flash a rooted stock ROM.

[Q] Flashing to new ROM after ICS BAMF Leak

Please bear with me, I'll readily admit that I'm a newb when it comes to flashing ROMs, etc. I rooted my TB with the all-in-one tool and loaded the ICS BAMF Leak. I presume this was essentially an RUU, since I didn't flash any separate radios or anything.
I'm looking for a different ICS ROM to flash, mostly due to the poor memory management on this build.
My question is this, and mainly for clarification- If I wipe/format everything except the SD card, I will have to FIRST flash the ROM, then flash the radio to get data working?
It was only a ROM, and radios don't come with roms but the ones you had when you rooted work with the leak.
To flash a new rom just do the same thing you did for the leak, i have never flashed a radio (except for testing the tool) in a year of having this phone.

Well, that's interesting. I installed the NuSense rom based off the ICS leak, and had to install the leaked radios to get data back.
either way, i got the rom flashed and the radio flashed and working.
Thanks for the rooting tool, BTW

That is because santod modified the ril to work better with the leak radios. I get data just fine with the .19 radios.

Going back to ICS from Jelly Bean

I installed [ROM][Unofficial-AOKP] and while its nice some of the nuisances are frustrating. My previous phone was a DroidX so I could always just SBF back to stock no problems. But I am curious is there a way to go back to the an official ICS release by loading the PH98IMG.zip or whatever? I thought I heard once you went to an unofficial OTA you could never go back to pure stock if you were S-ON and I am okay with that I just want to get back to the last updated ICS that was available.
If I can just load the .zip what is the correct version and can someone point me to the download? Thanks.
You can go back to stock. You have to relock your bootloader by running "fastboot oem lock" from fastboot, and then reflash the stock RUU.
If you never updated past the Verizon OTA, you can get the 3.14.605.12 file from this site, rename it to PH98IMG.zip on your external SD, relock, and flash.

Cool, thanks.
You didn't make a nandroid backup of your existing rom before you installed a new rom? You should start if you didn't, that way if you installed a rom you end up not liking, you can just restore your previous one without needing to re-set up your phone all over again.
Stay root and flash Neo's simplistic 3.0 rom. It is a debloated version of the stock rom. It's not as smooth as jellybean but is about as stable as you can get.

So I found this thread and I haven't been to JellyBean on my Rezound yet. Currently running Hawks latest EclipticRez and Snuzzo's latest Kernel which is dope.
1) Can I just make a full Nandroid of my current rom, then flash Neo's Inception 2.5 to try out jellybean?
2) If I want to go back to ICS Sense, can I just restore my nandroid?
It seems that simple, but I dont want a brick and wanted to confirm that I can go back to ICS.
Thank you.

As long as you are S-OFF yes.
If you are S-on you'll have to reflash the boot.img of the ROM you started from/restore back to.

[Q] Switching from MeanBean to AOSP

I had been running CM10.1(deck's build) on my phone as my daily driver for a while. At some point I was unable to get 4g anymore and wanted to update my PRL (from 25010 to 25012) thus needed to switch to a Sense ROM.
I followed instructions on the MeanBean ROM thread for S-OFF users and upgraded my firmware from 3.15.651.16 to 3.16.651.3 using Captain_Throwback's firmware from here
Now that my PRL and profile are updated, I want to go back to my nandroid backup of the DD CM10.1 ROM and am wondering if I need to downgrade my firmware back to 3.15.651.6 to get the AOSP ROM to work, or if downgrading would brick my phone.
I am S-OFF, hboot 2.09.4444 and did not install the latest tp firwmare.
As long as you did not do the tp firmware then no need to downgrade.
