Let me start off by saying yes, I have exhausted every single option before getting to posting on the forums.
I am looking for the XAP file for IE (Internet Explorer) on the windows phone. I have a Nokia Lumia 800, on firmware 7.8.
What I am looking for is the XAP file that I can side load onto the phone after changing and developing things.
Any help will get lots of great feedback and credit

I remember that there used to be an opportunity to unlock lumia 800 through some app from nokia marketplace because it had interop unlock and some vulnerability, right? So is it possible to look through the list of apps from different manufacturers, for example samsung or htc? It is possible to download programs from their marketplace now, so I thought we might be able to use programs from other OEMs... Is it possible? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks for your time!

So has anyone looked into this? Or is it impossible to repeat the unlock like we had via network setup app? Probably Samsung or HTC network apps have such vulnerability?
Anyone who has already installed the new WP7.8 Build 8858 VDG, dows it support all nokia apps? like Nokia Drive, Counters etc. Any other problems?

I found this Rom to be fantastic. I had really bad battery life with the Dynamics rom (even after removing the clock app).
The rom works really well, I've actually mirrored my Lumia 900 7.8 setup and everything works that I have installed except Nokia Music (app installed and ran with an error saying it wasn't a Nokia phone). There's a few of the other Nokia programs I don't use, but just give it a go.
I'm currently waiting on a SIM adapter to try out the phone side, but at this point I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I am new to xda-developers and all my other devices are android.
Now I got a Lumia 710 for my daughter which works quite well so far.
I have installed Rataplan final. Thank you Rataplan for the good work.
But there are a two major things my daughter does not like about the phone.
The Tumblr app is not available for this phone. Is there any alternative for Tumblr or do you know a different way to install tumblr on a Lumia 710?
The Instagram app is not available for this phone. Is there any alternative for Instagram or do you know a different way to install Instagram on a Lumia 710?

i need to sync my agenda, contacts with my phone i'd like my games to but no way :crying:.

Lumia 800 is a bit old and the latest os is wp 7.8, stop, you can't flash anything else AFAIK
