I need a help with my SE Xperia Pro .
I was flashing it to CM10 , flashed the core but that was the last thing done successfully. ClockworkMod recovery didnt launche , so firmware even didnt started to install. Now by switching it on I just get nice picture "xperia free project" and depressing dark after it. I cant launch recovery, SEUS at the first time stopped working very quickly, the second time said that there is modified software there, and thirdly ,at last, didnt recognise my phone at all.
Can i do something with it, excepting using it like a brick? XD

Hey people from xda im desesperating I bought this cellular 2 days ago and have been installing apps. The thing is that my mobile wouldnt let me install more apps because the memory was full (and i had app2sd installed :|) so i tried to install a new app2sd with xrecovery with an archive called update.zip
Then I restarted my mobile and it took like 10 minutes to start, it got stuck there at the SE white logo and when it started it was lagged, the cellphone answered to my taps like 10 seconds after
I tried with the xrecovery a format (the third option i believe) and when i restarted the phone it got stuck in the logo again, the problem hadnt gone
what can I do?

Edit: it turned on after 5 mins later and im trying to repair it with pc companion, i will post if it get solved but I dont think it will
Reflash it with SEUS(Sony Ericsson Update Service)! Or download the firmware you want and flash it with flashtool!
i solved it with SEUS, thanks anyway , and I found the problem, as before, I installed another custom zip and my phone got stuck again in the sony ericsson logo and when the menu appeared it was all laggy again, so the problems are with the .zip, any idea about how to solve this?

I have the same problem as you now. How do you solved it with SEUS?
When I start-up my phone, it alway come out the white Sony Ericsson logo and stuck there on and off. I can do anything. I went to SEUS to repair my firmware, also can't help as the PC companion cannot connected to my phone at all.
Pls. help :'(
I used pc companion, connected the phone and repaired it (flashing it with the same firmware it had), and then it worked perfect again, nothing went bad
I you haven't solved it.. I revived my bricked phone using flashtool today.
Had to go to someone with a window pc for it since i only have linux but at least got the mini pro back to live again. I flashed to SE's 2.1, then updated to the latest update via PC Companion.
Then I installed CWM and installed MiniCM7Pro-V6, which f#cking rocks imo
Ever since I updated to the official ICS my sony screen comes one then turns off then comes on again many times. I have to shut it down to keep it off.
Anyone else with this problem
Not a problem for me.
No problem with mine, but u sure can do a factory reset and try.
If u have rooted ur tablet then try flashing the prerooted ICS again.

Yes..but screen flickering is a universal ICS problem...

M2. the only good came out of the update is the improved Battery life.

try using "ad detector" app from play store, I ve had the same problem and it seems like an app doing this, it was gone when uninstalled the app "ad detector" detected

When I'm on ICS, I found out that the screen turns on by itself. I guess this is why the battery drain so much overnight.
My Tablet Died
i was playing with my tablet and suddenly stuck and i had to reset ..
after that the tablet stuck at the sony logo ... it wont do anything just stuck ,,
i tried to go into the recovery mode and Factory reset but no use ..
i tried to install the ics rom again ...
but it said prohibited bla bla Base something and Sku ,, installation aborted ..
and sometimes the recovery mode shows some weird things ..
Can any one HELP me plz ...
You got yoursel a bricked tablet and its not repairable no since the tab is locked there is nothing you can do, send it back to sony and you will get a new mtb chip and its done, you will get your tab back with Honeycomb 3.2 and all is clear sony is fast it wil take 6 or 8 days to repair and sending, don't worry about your warranty., try to flash a empty rom so the recovery.log won't show any tracks of hacking/flashing by yourself . just an tip good luck with your tab!

No need to panic just yet..
Is your tablet rooted?
take your sd card out and boot into recovery.. does that work? if yes, try factory reset.. then reboot with sdcard again..
If your still stuck then look at the faq on the aio tool thread and followvthe partial brick guide..
It didn't quite work for me as I lost root and and now stuck on the US ICS...but thats ok.. at least the tablet works again..

play store problem
Since I got ICS I can't buy nothing from market. It says always that there is a problem for every app. Instead I can download free apps...
For other apps it says that are not compatible with my device but I know they are...
I didnt root my tablet i didnt do anything to my tablet .. i only do the develop thing on my Sony ARC ... but it wont work i tried to do everything ... boot into recovery .. install new rom its no normal problem .. even when i boot to recovery i got en error hehe ... i think ill send it to sony -_-

I have some problem , sometimes my tablet crash , my solution is reset it .... anybody same problems on ICS 4.0.3 ???? my ICS is Stock ROM Sony

I also sometimes have this "flickering" bug, i think it is just when i am holding the tablet nor really horizontal and even not vertical...
I can live with this but it is still since i've updated to rooted ICS...
need help from master, my old gti5503 problem update, first try i jump from 2.1 to 2.3.7 n stuck at bootloader,just samsung logo and small text android and restart bootloader again and again, the second time, i try to enter download mode to reflash again now im stuck download mode and odin multi downloader wont work anymore like before, just waiting green bar full but nothing just i waiting hours than minute.. guy! i do wrong or not?or i try kill my old gti5503?
btw, im from malaysia, where can i get back stock rom? i try sammobile and samsung they update 2.2 only.. i hope you all help me out to recover back.. before i dying brick with hammer!

Hi XDA members, I came here because I'm tired and I cant'd do anything more, I need help
Ok so first I had a Samsung Galaxy Core Duos GTI8262, original, no modified, android 4.1.2, everything all right.
Then I starded to try to install a costum ROM with 4.4. I rooted it, and then I found a CMW Recovery and I had installed it via Odin307, but it didn't work because it was not compatible with my phone, it was crashing all the time and the phone used to make noises, like an engine working or something, and then it shuts down. Then after much search I found here in XDA a costum Recovery Based in CMW for my phone, "CMW based Recovery v6.0.4.7".
I installed it via Odin307 under the previous CMW that dint work properly, and finally everething went all right, I installed a ROM with KitCat, then another with Lillicop, etc... then I wanted to try Cynogen, it was in my model devolopment and I installed it, bigger mistake, it didn't recognize SIM card such as Wifi, Bluethoth, etc... no conections. I get tired because with all my Download mode started to get stuck, so, I could not install another ROM, so, angry, I went to based CMW Recovery and I formatted EVERYTHING, until get to the point where there wasn't ANY file in SDCARD0, I tried to make factory Reset, didn't work, so I turn the phone On and the logo "Galaxy Core Duos GTI8262" stays there forever... the phone doesn't start.
THEEN... i downloaded the stock ROM here in XDA to my model (I'm Portuguese (Portugal)), and tried to install it via Odin207. I was waiting that the Download Mode got stucked again but I tried it in the same way, because I didn't knew what to do more. BUT, instead of get stuck, the Download Mode only stays for aprox. 5 seconds, then the phone shuts down... SO > nothing in SDCARD0 (and the CWM Based doesn't have the option to install anything in extSDCard I dont know why...) and Download Mode crashes... without pay nothing, WHAT CAN I DO PEOPLE? :crying:

Need some help, I'm totally new to android hacking stuff and think messed up my phone, it's sure an old one but I loved it so much I don't want it to die.
So here's the point, yesterday I rooted it, worked fine, after that I unlocked the bootloader, always fine, but the problems began when I tried installing a custom recovery, didn't find a suitable one for the phone so I found RecoverX, and installed the CWM-Based Recovery 5.0.2.7 (ICS), after it done installing the phone was never able to boot anymore, I got stuck on a bootloop so I was searching for the original firmware, I found one and it worked after that, except the touchscreen was not working, so after reading some threads I realised that I installed a firmware who's not made for my phone version. Then I tried flashtool again and installed the built-in version or don't know what it is just for seing if it was able to restore the firmware since it said "X10". After that the phone turned off and wasn't able to boot anymore, the power button doesn't respond, no vibration, no backlight, no LED, and it isn't detected but the computer anymore, I tried flash mode and all other thing but nothing.
Is it dead? Can't I repair it anymore? Based on some reasearch I think it's hard bricked but can't find a solution.
Please help. Can I repair it by myself by doing some testpoint stuff or I don't know, I'm just too new about this, I just began yesterday.
