try using flashtool. directions are in the link.
U mentioned you have a x10i correct, then pick the firmware you want with the x10i with the latest baseband. if you still have questions, keep asking.
rooting is next if you go that route then, flashing ROMS, which are associated with a baseband
here is the link for flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Yeah dude, use flashtool.... just flash it back... tht worked for me... i bricked my phone once.... now its rollin again....

ok, i`ll try...
i can`t place my phone in Flashmode he gonna automatic to the Sony Ericsson logo...
What did i wrong?...
fire up SEUS, get to the bit where it say to connect your phone.
take the battery out for 10 seconds or so..
plug the micro USB cable into your phone only..
hold the back key (and keep it held until SEUS tells you to release it later in the process), push the battery back in
push the USB cable into your PC.
Should boot up into flash mode and SEUS will do it's thing!.
Done it before
Hi mate done it today since im new at rooting if you were trying to install a theme or rom, you might not have their firmware, if this is the case then you just from that Sony Ericsson screen keep pushing the Back or <-- key, this will boot you into xrecovery and just restore... if you havent made a back up, then you could try replace the rom you have back with the Se offical 2.1 rom which you can find in Android dev. and just launch it back with that... Hope this worked!!

[Q] Help! My x10 is dead!

I tried flashing the new CM7 ROM (cheers J) and I turned it on after backing up, wiping and flashing absolutely everything I had to. It went through the normal startup and then after the "Sony Ericsson" logo it said at the top of the screen "Loading custom kernel. Bye!" It then showed the CM7 logo and spent around 5 minutes booting up. I then got the WLOD and my phone just died really ever since then. Every time I turn it on, even when plugging it into the charger, I get a vibration and then the screen gets stuck on the "Sony Ericsson" page and won't change (I left it for 5 hours like that and it didn't change. Also, no matter how much I spam the back button, it will not enter xRecovery. I am slightly worried as I am meant to be going abroad this Wednesday and will definately need it then. Can anyone help me?

SEUS won't recognize my phone... I got it sorted by reflashing the original 2.1 from SE and then rerooting and reflashing xRec so now its practically back to normal. Only thing is though, I can't get rendeiro2005's [ROM][MAY24]BlackEditionHD_1.4_SE[Gingerbread 2.3.4] to work (link here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13755473#post13755473) coz everytime I try, I just get WLOD and a reboot cycle. Any help there?

I'm back to my old ROM (coincidently also from Rendeiro) and yeah cheers. My SEUS doesn't come up with a repair option, I only have "update". Anyway I've given up on that and am now flashing CM 7.0.3 coz it seems way more stable and from what I've heard there's no getting WLOD with it so far... so yeah cheers guys

[Help] Flashed, doesn't boot

Hi there,
I flashed my Neo V(MT11i) using flashtool while the battery is critically low. The flashing ended successfully but the phone just won't boot after that. I charged it for like 2 hours already Is it really a mistake to flash it while the battery is low?
Or maybe it's because I flashed it with (MT11a) firmware? I mistaken it for MT11i but I flashed it anyway coz I thought there shouldn't be any problem. Thanks in advance
Hiii,
are u flash your phone with flashtool? If yes...then
Do flash again do these steps
remove battery.....then put again,
hold back button then insert usb cable
then flash again,,,
any which Rom u r flashing?

I flashed my phone while batt was even below 10%. (note: I do not advise anyone to do that)
Download new ftf and flash it again.
Mt11a should work, but just in case try with I fw.
Also you didnt tell what happen when you press/hold on button

Do you even read question before you reply? Answers to all of your questions are in first post!
Plus, from his post can be seen that he knows how to use flashtool.
It shouldn't be a problem MT11a fw should work fine on MT11i.Try to make a reflash using MT11i fw,it should work, even if the battery is <10% (i know this because i've also flashed with battery critically low).

Oh yeah, forgot to wrote one last detail. The LED doesnt light up or anything but after plugging it into the charger and hold the power button to like switching it on, the LED glows Red and nothing happened. Just that. For a few hours I think. After leaving it the whole night connected to the charger, this morning, the LED blinks orange, I think. But it blinks. Not just glows.
And, if the phone dies some where right after the flashing, charging it back should just be enough to boot it up right?
The internet is like **** here, in my new school. Damn! If it weren't for that, i'd try downloading other firmwares and flashing them again.
Edit: the phone vibrates a little and the LED glows red/orange and nothinng else happens.

x10 dosent power on

Hi, ok so about a month ago i let the phone discharge completly i was on wolf's rom,and when i got home i put it on charge let it like 10 - 15 minutes and then try to turn it on,but all i got was a vibration and a green light flashing once, and then got a new phone arc s and today i kinda miss my x10 xD so i took the battery out and give it 2..3 minutes to rest and then try again ....nothing(i let it another 1:30 minutes to charge ), afterthat i flashed 2.1 official with flashtool clean no mod's the flashtool didnt give me any error but when i try to start ..the phone did the same thing 1 vibrate and green light once blink and now when i put it on charge the phone has the green light on like 5 minute then it turns off,if i take the battery out and put it on charge the green light apears...i tried another battery and the phone has the same problem.. so i came here if anyone know what is wrong with him (i installed SEUS > press repair > said my phone has the latest software, and pc companion the same) (sorry for my english)
Later edit : i am thinking to try unlock bootloader if that dosent give me any what so ever blinking screen or logo or error ... imma going to buy a JTAG cable and try that /// what should i do?? becouse i just want to experiment on this phone cuz i have my arc s and i am good with him xD
Later later edit : ok so i found out the problem..that was i tried to flash 1.6 in the past and that f**ked my boot some how so today i went at a service who has Jtag box ..(is kinda expensive to buy one just for my phone ..no worth it) for x10 an the man fix my phone in like 10 minutes so everyone who has one of the one of the following problmes only jtag can fix it : 1 if u flashed a stock rom and u got only a green light blink and a virbate and then nothing happens 2 if u get a green light and the phone is stuck on virbate and nothing happens..and btw if u get three blink red lights..u need to charge the phone or the battery hope it helps somebody
because i am happy now with the x10 working like new xD (dunno what is the rulles here but u can delete my topic.thx) hi hi only me post here
Since you solved your problem you should update your post from 'x10 doesn't power on' to something like 'SOLVED: X10 doesn't power on '
I also had same no power green light, had to use older flashtool and flash stock generic 2.1. It took 2-3 times for flash to take
from XDA app on my X10S v8.3 on DooMKernel6 @ 1152Mhz

A little info is needed. Have you tried the way described in this thread? How did this happen?
Sent from my X10S using XDA

[Q] [X10] Green led blinks, but not turning on.

Hello there,
I am having a problem with my Xperia X10a.
Was using ferraKernal v25 with ferrarom. Everything was working fine until yesterday.
PROBLEM: When i try to power my phone on, it vibrates for a short time with a single blink of green but the phone wont turn on.
SOLUTION TRIED:
1. Battery ok.
2. Flashtool 0.2.9 gb ready (flashing aborted)
3. Flashtool 0.9.18 (gets stuck at Processing of loader_unlocked.sin finished.)
4. pc companion (This device has no updates)
Below is the screenshot from flashtool.
Is there anyway to solve this problem. ?
Thank you.

Have you tried, or are you able to get into recovery? If so , maybe you can do a backup ( if there's anything to backup ) and then reflash the rom. Or if you already have a backup, do a restore.

To get into recovery you need to press the power button , then continually press the back button, ( don't hold it but keep pressing on off on off for about 30 seconds ). Only with the phone and battery, no USB cable! If you don't have any success with recovery you may need to flash a stock firmware.
Did you root the phone or purchase it already rooted? Do you know what firmware was on the phone before it was rooted?
This might help [REF][INDEX][Guide][How/Where-To] ALL-IN-ONE Consolidated X10 INFO | ROMs/THEMEs List 1 2 3 

Well..as i opened the thread with some statements above mate..
I was already using a Feravolt rom and kernel..And i rooted it and then flashed.
And obviously i know what/how to get into recovery.
But the thing is its not working without any good reason...
Situation like this happened to me before..
i was able to sues it then with stock..
But nothing seems to work now.
I guess i am not worth the seniors attention in here.
I shouldnt have opened the thread at the first place
but Hey, thanks for at least trying to help
Can you do a small test for me? I would like you to put the entire phone into a freezer ( not fridge ) for ten minutes, then take it out and see if it will power up. Will not harm the phone, I do it with an HD2.

I recall someone(senior member) from xda once posted somewhere that, one thing putting the phone into freezer can do is just damage your phone
still i will give it a shot..its dead anyway..
