Downgradeing maps - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Hey guys I know I posted something about maps last night but its a similar question but different. Since I am having problems with the current maps, can I switch to an older version of maps? Sorry in advance if I should ask this question in my old thread.

An older version won't help with the issue. You either want a non jb ROM, or use a different app for your navigation.

Yes, this affects my TB as well. Switch to 3G or Wifi and usually videos will begin to play within a few seconds. Sometimes on 4G, YouTube videos will not load. I suspect this is due to an issue with the YouTube app itself, but have no concrete proof. I am in Houston and am running a rooted/deodexed/debloated version of 2.11.605.19

It's an issue with imo's leankernel. He fixed this in his aosp version but I don't know if he has it nailed down for his gbsense version.

Benefits of newer leaks?

Hi guys. I think my phone is on a leak from the end of march. There have been several since then. Would I see any benefits upgrading to those? Thanks!

Definitely update to the newest (5/7/2012) one.
This is the one you want: Click Me!
You should Take this to the question and answers subsection. But all I know about is radios and stability being updated.

What do you mean? Are you saying that you got a market update via Google, or are you saying it reverted to 3.5.19?
Edit: also, in GB and froyo, if you had a themed market you liked, but Google updated, there was an apk in system/app called marketupdater that you'd have to delete to avoid stealth updates. I can find no such thing in ICS. No phoneskyupdater or anything. Anybody know what they've changed it to, or how they're doing it now?

[Q]Photon ROM with working 4G?

Hello everyone,
First off I'd like to say that I'm a big fan of the site and have been referencing it ever since i got my HTC EVO years ago. You guys rock!
The reason I'm here is because I have a Motorola Photon currently running CM9 with Jelly Bean. I like it, however I don't like having to tether with 3g speeds when I know something faster is out there.
So my main question is: Have there been any ROMs (Jellybean or otherwise) that allow for 4g usage? If so, could you direct to where I could find them?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.

That thread seems a bit dated now. I am on 198_7. Can I pick any custom rom and lock the bootloader to gain 4g?
Sent from my MB855 using xda app-developers app
No. Custom ROMs (ics, jb, etc.) use custom kernels, which are not supported on a locked bootloader. Sorry.

Like they said man, their are tons of thread asking the same thing...
But to answer your question, every international Rom will work on our model, however you will loose wifi calling (it's tmobile specific and unless you flash a stock Rom you won't have in any other Rom).
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Don't do it. There is another thread in this forum where some one lost their, hspa data.
It's generally better to wait until ruins stabilize brie you start flashing unless you are masochistic.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
Yah you need to do some reading.
That said, Android Revolution and TrickDroid work great for TMo and have all the TMo stuff including wifi calling included. There probably are others, but these two are by far the most popular. I personally run TrickDroid.
