Hi i have problem with my mobile network. I don´t have any signal i have Jelly Bean 4.1.1 CM 10 ROM on my HTC Amaze... i had same problem before with my stock rom... i tried to set APN but it is empty i tried to reset to deafault but its empty i tried to download APN manager but its not working. In APNmanager - APN list there is no APNs... i tried to put manually but it says Problem while creating apn... i really dont know if it is in APN but i think that yes it is ... all i need is my signal i dont have signal i cant call :crying: please help
i have the same problem i have tried multiple roms and even gone back to stock but this weekend i will try to unroot and reset the counter but i didnt have the problem till i flashed cm10 also
There is only one fully functional custom ROM for Amaze 4G..
This http://goo.im/devs/nrgz28/Amaze/
Make sure you complete all these three in 4EXT recovery before flashing:
1. wipe | format >> wipe data / factory reset
2. wipe | format >> format system
3. wipe | format >> wipe cash + dalvik
P.S. Either kernel would be fine, however if you want to go with faux then download the v26 prior to flashing and put it on SD along with ROM for flashing it straightway after the ROM..
P.P.S. You might want this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tweakker

Now it says no sim card detected in tweakker it says :

Please make sure your SIM card is

Airplane mode. "
APN is still empty, i set to default... nothing change still empty
Make sure your handheld is T-Mobile branded, otherwise you flashed the firmware package whilst moving from GB before flashing the Android 4.x.x ROM..
P.S. Just in case http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38700711&postcount=58

2. Can you please try another SIM from someone around (and then even another carrier too)..

I got an Optimus One from a friend. I flashed CyanogenMod on it and Im not sure if I did it correctly. I dont know much about it. This is the file I used:
update-cm-7.2.0-RC1-p500-signed.zip
Everything seems to be working fine except I cant connect to any network. I am trying to unlock my phone (its locked to KOODO right now) and I enter the "2945#*500#" code in it says "Mobile Network Not Available"
If I manually try to choose any network in the settings it just says unable to connect to network, please try again later.
Are my settings just wrong, or maybe I forgot to install something when I flashed it?
Are you on the wrong baseband?

U got new baseband?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
I have no idea if Im on the right baseband. I really dont know what it means other then it has something to do with the networks.
When I go to about Phone and Baseband version it doesnt really say anything. Im sure it said something different before when I looked at it the other day. Right now it says:
Baseband version
$n(Backwards R)(box)(box)(box)(chinese symbol?)(box)
So that has got to be the issue. How do I fix it tho? flash a different rom? I do want to try something different. I find the phone is usually really slow after I wake it up and unlock it.
Basebands!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1149530
download basebandfix.zip(by Adfad666) and install it from recovery as you flashed your rom, this will fix your network problem

So I did this and it installed the zip just fine. A few differences now:
In lock screen it now says "NO SERVICE"
About Phone > Baseband Version > "UNKNOWN"
Mobile Network Settings > Network Operators >
"ERROR WHILE SEARCHING FOR NETWORKS"
Before it found the networks, just couldnt connect to them.
After fooling around with it more I got a baseband version in there. Here is my info:
BASEBAND: LGP500AT-00-V20g-OPEN-COM-JUN-14-2011+0
Android Version: 2.3.7
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10-cyanogenmod [email protected]))
Mod Version: CyanogenMod-7-20120527-NIGHTLY-p500
Is this the right Baseband? SHould I just try a differnet mod?
It now sees the networks again, but has the connection error like before.
BTW The icon at the top that is a sim card with an exclamation mark on it. What does that mean? Its always been there but I didnt know what it meant. Does it mean that the phone is locked and the sim is incompatable, or does it mean that there is no sim in the phone?
Try to reinsert your sim card if problem not solved then proceed to next
First you need to unlock your sim. To unlock sim first flash stock firmware using kdz updater, follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060121
Download stock firmware from here(select any v20 version) http://lg-phone-firmware.com/firmware-Lg+Optimus+One-Tutti-4.html
After flashing firmware do a factory reset(settings -->privacy settings -->factory data reset)
After factory reset type 2945#*500# then type unlock code
After unlocking flash any rom of your choice

Yes it is locked. Thats how I figured out somthing was wrong in the first place. I was trying to unlock it (entered 2945#*500#) and it said "Mobile Network Not Available"
I didnt realize that it had to be unlocked in stock firmware to work. That might have been the problem all along then.

I used KDZ_FW_UPD.exe to flash it, Waited until it said finished and now I'm semibricked. Stuck at the android boot screen. Ive tried it 3 times and I can never get past that screen.
I attached the log
EDIT
After rebooting numerous times, and waiting and waiting.. I figured out none of that will do anything. Gotta press three button combo for HW reset of device (volume up + home + power button)
Its all fixed now.
Thanks guys everything works now. My phone is now unlocked.
Any suggestions what custom rom I should flash?
Should I Stick with CM7?

Before we go any further.....you are stock ICS ? using the 3.0.8 stock ICS kernel ?
We should try something else before the downgrade....as you "technically" have the wrong baseband version for TMO...
We need to get you rooted again, and flash up a new radio....first...to test network...
now I know the blaze radio got you stuck, but believe it or not...you need it to run the ATT note, on the TMO network...
Are you familiar with the ICS root process ?
It's too easy...simply push CWM .tar file to the device via Odin, then we can flash the baseband and test.....
quite possibly eliminating the need for much more work...g

Okay then...
lets back door the phone.....with the GB.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1506330
stand by...g
Edit:
here is the stock.tar for GB....
You must first...(required by me...LOL) wipe data, and factory reset the device....
Then, push this GB .tar image to your phone via Odin...
Just to clarify: you do this at your own risk....as this image will force restore the device to a stock ATT I717 GB rom.....
let me know when you are done with the flash...then we do step 2....g
Edit: 2....it is wise to format the emmc partition prior to using this method, to clean the ICS files from the device...this is done in CWM....it's not required...but helps...IMHO

ok, how do you wipe data and factory reset without root.. is it factory data reset? and how to format emmc?
Just factory reset....if you dont have root,,,you cant format the emmc...
It'll do....
we'll full wipe after you get GB flashed....g
Okay...once you get GB pushed over...
then you need the CWM recovery....
Push it after you push the GB rom. but remember...you must allow the device to reboot after each flash, and then return to download mode again..
It's slow...but it's required....
After you get CWM pushed.....and booted, then we will go into CWM and do some house keeping on the EMMC....
followed by this:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/0zahxvtc/033112.html?
That is the radio image we are going to flash in CWM...and if we get lucky, It's gonna fix this mess for you....
I'll wait here....tap, tap, tap, tap.......LOL....g
ok flashed it..
android version: 2.3.6
bb version: i717uclf6
kernel version:2.6.35.11
build #: gingerbread.ucla1
---------- Post added at 01:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 PM ----------
ok 2.3.6 installed and cwm flashed.. now what lol
Okay......now we need the CWM recovery....
so back into download mode, and Odin push this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526431
It's the top recovery on the first page...just click the "odin" version, and it will download the correct CWM.tar image...then flash that sucker....g
edit: yur fast...LOL
Now, we need to boot into CWM.....
then, wipe data, factory reset.......
then wipe cache, dalvik cache, battery stats....
then...and here is the scary part...
In the advanced menu options, you will find the option to format "EMMC"....do it...then reboot from the CWM screen.....g
After the EMMC wipe and reboot....you are going to flash this radio image in CWM...
Sorry for the reboot, but it was needed to flush the memory, and repopulate the Emmc with only the rom specific data needed to boot....http://www.4shared.com/zip/0zahxvtc/033112.html?
ok im in advanced menu.. there is no format emmc option
reboot recovery
wipe dalvik
wipe battery
report error
key test
show log
partition sd card
fix permission
go back

Okay...you have a different CWM version...thats okay...lets flash the radio image in CWM, and see if you get service...
this radio is a base TMO image, no frills, but is compatible with your network...and if service is available, you'll get it after the flash and reboot...

Negative ghost rider ... No SIM Emergency Calls Only...
hello,
My friend has galaxy s2 korean version shw-250s 2.3.5 phone working perfectly.
He asked me if I can upgrade to higher android version, so I said I'll try.
After reading different articles and lessons,
I switched it from 2.3.5 shw-m250s to i9100 4.0.3
problem is it works in CLARO carrier, but does't work on another carriers.
I tried using different roms / 4.0.4 / 4.1.2 / and even tried CM10.1 RC version and still doesn't work on other carrier (which he was using before)
so far I've tried
- I9100UHLPE_I9100UHLPE_I9100UUBLPE_HOME.tar
- I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar
- I9100JHLPC_I9100PTRLPD_I9100JHLPC_HOME.tar
and still having same problem.
is there any way to fix it?
Thanks

and now i only see these options
reboot time now
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
test redbend fota[FS]
if i click aplply update from external storage

Hello guys,
I have a problems, ive Flash my Sam-T859 and it seemed to work fine for almost a month but a few hours ago i was playing a Game (Contract Killer 2) and it just crashed and started doing the boot loop thing.
Ive Been on google all day non stop following instructions that lead to dead ends.
Ive used Odin3_v1.85 and did the "PDA" thing and it passed but went right back into the boot loop.
i read somewhere that a guy had the same problem i did but somehow figured it out. He wasnt sure how he fixed it but he said he thought it was because he needed a legit .Tar file so if someone could direct me to that would be most appreciated.

if you are rooted....
...boot into recovery and wipe data, cache, dalvik cache ( dalvik is under advanced )...now reboot.
if you are not rooted...
...boot to stock recovery and wipe cache..reboot. If that doesnt work. Then i would go to sammobile .com and find the original firmware that your device came with and i would odin that...if that doesnt work. Then you are going to need a pit.file and use odin but you will repartition the sdcard this time.
google what ive told you here so you have a better understanding of what im saying.....and let me know.

alright...i think you have some corrupted data on the sdcard....i had this happen to me twice.
see if you can just wipe data...
... if you cant..then go into mounts and mount/format data..if you get really desperate you can format the sdcard from here...,but i would flash a rom first..the one you were running..that way you have an os to boot to..unless you have easy access to odin and a pc...inwhich case id wipe it and odin the original firmware and root all over again ...

im also assuming it has a seperate kernal and recovery partition....like my p7510 wifi only variant..
if this is correct...i would either use odin to flash a newer recovery or adb to push the recovery zip file to the device..if you push the zip..just flash it..then reboot recovery and try to do your wipes and flash a rom..
this is a long shot...but im baving trouble finding the original firmware tar..if this doesnt work...i would say our next step would be to flash a kernel in recovery or odin..then flash a rom that is compatible with the kernel..i know this sounds like its redundit....but im thinking your recovery or kernel might be clashing..if not seen it before on this device...but i have seen it on other devices..

also...did you try to flash a new version of cwm recovery...i see droidbasement has one built specifically for your device....i believe im correct in that you have the t-mobile variant of the 10.1 galaxy tab...could you also tell me if it is a wifi only variant or does it have a sim card...im assuming it has a sim card, being that it is a t-mobile variant...but assumptions in this kind of ( work..lol ) can lead to getting a new coaster..lol

well buddy...after reading back through your post...i think you flashed something wrong with odin....but since you have odin mode/download mode and recovery still available...
i think we need to flash a recoveryl with odin....go to droidbasement and download that recovery tar...follow the instruction and flash it with odin, making sure only what is said to be checked in odin is checked.
next....use your pc to push a rom to your device...
boot recovery and wipe data...cache...dalvik cache(under advanced) and format system(under advanced)...then flash rom and gapps...reboot...enjoy
let me know if you cant google what you need and ill link you to the recovery....but im rooting and installing a rom on my buddies new note 3 and its crazy new to me....so im busy...but ill keep checking my notifications about every 20 minutes if you post something...

i prefer the rom in my sig...but any rom kasper_h builds is smooth...but he is only really developing omni rom at the moment and probably the future...the ganboro rom is nice...but it lacks some of the customization i like in a rom...that said, omni rom also lacks the customization i like. but remember...the less resources a rom pulls...the smoother it generally is. so really you just need to read the rom threads and see what fits your taste...
fyi...ive rooted my budddies note3 and a recovery...with a rom soon to follow. so ill keep checking back in about every 10 minutes or so...if you need help...we'll get ya back up tonight..

Hello,
Volte was working flawlessly on RR5.8.x and LOS14.1.
Then i decided to move to NitrogenOS.My flashing steps were->wipe everything-flash latest NOS stable-Flash Goodix patch provided for NOS(yes,i have goodix)-flash radon4.1.
When i booted for the first time,i got VoLTE icon(i dont know if volte was working even then, but i definately saw volte icon,i didnt try calling),it did fluctuate once but it was present. Then i realised ROM doesnt have Gapps. So i flashed latest opengapps(mini probably,it was 340 mb something zip). And since that reboot,Volte is simply not there.
Things i did after this-
I flashed latest firmware-both by psy-man and reemar
I flashed LOS back, volte didnt work there as well.
After being tired of it,I flashed latest xiaomi.eu miui. And to my surprise VoLTE wasnt working even on miui.
My device is kenzo(made in india) with bootloader unlocked officially.
Dont suggest fastboot flashing,i know its the last choice. If there is a way round....Kindly tell me
Thanks you !

I have zcx twrp. And yes i did wipe each and every partition.Infact i even wiped internal storage after taking full backup.
I did flash xiaomi.eu latest MIUI.I will try recovery rom if you think that will make difference but isnt the xiaomi.eu rom based on china developer miui? will orignal rom make difference?
Another odd thing that i noticed!
on any rom...let it be miui,los,nos,rr....earlier relaincejio's(my carrier) APN used to be preset. But now on every rom installation i have to manually add APN,and then the data works.
