I've recently been searching for a root for the LG Optimus L7 p705g v10e for a friend of mine and learned that there is no root available for this software version (v10e). I am unable to update his software version in order to root.
Does anyone know a way to change this software version so that I will be able to root this phone?

What would be the difference of P700 Optimus for Optimus L7 L7 P705f because I'm from Brazil and I sold the P705f and there is no information about the differences in any site.
And if anyone knows a possible way to root for version P705f since tried several ways and even Root for P700 and did not work.

I was wondering the same thing aswell. I have LG-P705g V10E from rogers/fido.
when I tried to flash P700 firmware V10H it didn't work. It was just stuck on emergency mode, I had to recover with LG update tool and IMEI #.
There must be little difference in the hardware.

I used option 2 from runme.bat and its rooted now.

Looks like the P705f it´s only a variant of the P700/P705 for Brazil... I´m brazillian too, but my model is imported (P705). I tried a P700 room and works perfect, but when I try to flash a Brazillian rom, the phone stucks on LG logo. The only apearent diference of P705 from P700 is that P700 has NFC (When I try to activate this on my phone, the checkbox simply does not get checked)
First thing I need to know is what´s your firmware, so I can try to help you to root that phone...

Hello guys, I'm looking for an official rom rom LG unchanged by operators telefoncias my official rom is of course, as many prefer it over without modification will be no imposed by LG.
I had managed by a version that is not mine and Looks great and no problems however I could not get Root and put the ofical the course again, my version is V10A and I got it for the V10F that is clean and however no official conseguio Root access anything or Framaroot nor propripo soft at this as Kingo and Unlock Root

hello,recently i bought an LG F600L and i updated him trough OTA to 6.0 ,unfortunetly i haven't found a way to root him ,i need to root because is full of korean bloat +dialpad+that roaming clock ,i have entereted to an vietnam site and no succes ,i found only root for lollipop not for MM.

You can simply update your V10 via LG Bridge software. Just download and install LG Bridge into your pc and connect the phone via USB cable. It'll detect your V10 and then you can easily update your phone from there. Also it is advised to create a full backup before performing system update! :good:
