I saw that the game modern combat 4 was 1 dollar (on sale temporarily), so I decided to buy it. After I bought it, the download and install went fine. But when I tried playing It, the screen would go black, and the GAMELOFT loading circle would appear (loading) for a second, then disappear, then it would continue glitching out like this, so now I can't play. I read the game reviews and I'm not the only one with this issue. Any ideas on how to fix? For samsung galaxy s3

Maybe you guys need to be on complete stock? It's a shot in the dark but something may be interfering with your game.
Or the game thinks that you don't have enough RAM. It sometimes happens when you play heavy games. Clear RAM and try again.

I know a few of us are waiting for some of the Gameloft games to be updated for the Note. Asphalt 6 was just updated and it now works on the Note. (Even under ICS)
Modern Combat 3 was updated I think last month, I am still holding out for Order and Chaos....

Mine was updated through the Play Store.
I have noticed that the very top of the screen looks all garbled, but the game is perfectly playable. Maybe that is the extra pixels from 1280x720 to 1280x800 that aren't used correctly.
In either case, it does work now

I just updated mine and it seems ok. But the top area has a fuzzy pixelation and turns black when you first start a race but it comes back in a few seconds. Like the post before...the resolution seems to fit 1280x720 and not our 1280x800 screens correctly. Lets email the developer for gameloft to have them fix this in the next update. Overall the game runs pretty smooth but the touch button seems off. Example: when I try to customize paint for a vehicle...I needed to click a little above the selectors for it to reconize the touch. Not sure if anyone else is noticing this...

I am running the 5/2 nightly of CM9 on my SGS2. I am trying to run Street Fighter IV on my phone - have it installed correctly per the numerous Youtube videos and have the game working.
Unfortunately there is this multi touch bug in this game. everytime you touch the screen in 2 places it will force close. the touch points have to be outside of the controller soft buttons on the screen. This happens if you multi touch when the game is loading or in the menu or even in the play mode. This is making the game impossible to play.
Is this a bug related to ICS? I tried installing AOKP and getting same issue.
All the youtube videos of SFIV working correctly are on gingerbread. So wondering if this is an ICS specific issue. Any way to fix this?

Holy crap I didn't know we had SFIV for our phones!!! I'm a Wii owner so I got left out when it was released for all the consoles. Gotta go try this now!

Googling SFIV for our phone now...umm not to keen on downloading some files of the interwebz on my rooted phone and trying them out. Looks cool though!

It really looks cool on our phones....but is basically unplayable (on ICS) due to the multi touch FC issue

hey guys
i bought S3 two weeks back
it runs smooth but when i play temple run it starts lagging like when i try to turn by swiping it keeps going straight
the game works fine for initial minute or two. even on Google play store, reviews of S3 users for temple run mention this problem
I tried turning power saving mode off , hard reset but no luck
has anybody else having the same problem?

If you purchased the game I'd simply suggest you upgrade to the latest version (as I've got the game on my s3 and works perfectly).
If you downloaded it from somewhere then either its a dodgy version or the way they've cracked it is effecting game play.

I downloaded it from Google Playstore only and it was free
Other games like Asphalt 7 or Shadowgun are working fine
Oh I was referring to the ''Brave'' version. Are you running any custom rom that could be interfering.

ok I am sure allot of us are getting frustrated with the lack of market support for apps due to the Screen resolution, or whatever reason... but what are some apps that are not supported by the play store that work fine... and also ones that crash or dont function properly

The game Rayman Jungle Run is marked incompatible in the Play Store, but on Amazon Apps it says it is compatible.
When sideloaded the game runs perfect, and it is gorgeous with those hand drawn art assets.
I hope they patch dead zone the game is so badass I even play it with the pink guys but I would like it to work

I haven't had this issue at all, almost all apps on the market work fine for me. I was even able to install the XDA App for Tablets directly from the Market (it works without a hitch). It makes me interested in sideloading some apps from my Prime, given the DNA does have a very high res display. Will post results.
Angry birds star wars HD starts up but when selecting a level it instantly quits.

GTA Vice City works great when side loaded. Bought it on Nexus 7 and used titanium backup then installed on DNA. Works flawless!:laugh:

which app didn't work? I used my backups from my nexus to restore my games to my DNA and I had no issues other than angry birds star wars FC...
ChompSMS - had to install it from their website. Works great.

I just wanted to start a topic on tegra 3 and other games that work on the galaxy S4. Last night I did a little testing with a few Tegra games on the S4 that are not in the play store on the device that worked.
(Update) To find almost all games in Play Store follow thes 8 steps Carefully.
(I AM NOT RESPONSABLE IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE OR MESS YOUR PHONE UP. TAKE YOUR TIME)
1. Download this file. (Its used for another fix but helps us also

2. Move zip file to internal SD Card
3. Reboot into revovery and flash Multi DPI Play store.zip with CWM or whatever flashing tool you use besides the stock then reboot.
4. Download ES File Explorer.
5. Hit menu and then "Root Explorer"
6. Hit "Mount R/W" (I just mount all 4 and press ok)
7. Now go back to main screen and tap the top bar and pick "Device" (so yoyur not searching the Sd the actual "Device" partition for system files.)
8. Look at the folders displayed below and tap the one that says "System"
9. Tap/Open the "build.prop" file with a text editor of your choice.
10. Change the line that says:
(ORIGINAL)
ro.product.device=..............
(The ... stands for whatever your device is. Its different for every one so I just put .... as an example)
(NEW/CHANGE TO **Only use one of these and dont copy whats in brackets**)
ro.product.device=softwin (Fakes JXD S7300b)(Recommended)
ro.product.device=olympus (Fakes Motorola Atrix)
ro.product.device=d2att (Fakes Samsung Galaxy S3 on att)
ro.product.device=grouper (Fakes Nexus 7 Tablet)

(Make sure you change what comes after the equals sign to "softwin/olympus/d2att/etc" no spaces)
11. Save, restart your phone.
12. Go to Aplication Manager in your settings. Clear data for Google Play Store.
FINALLY check the Play Store for a ton of new apps. Give it a few minutes to add the new apps well your searching. Takes a few minutes to see the changes and new apps!!!!!!!!!

So far ive found out that:
The Dark Knight Rises = Workes perfect so far. Great graphics.
(New) Dead Trigger = Working good no issues ive notice. Still trying it out but seems really good and fast loading.
(New) Gangstar Rio = Running perfect.
(New) Samurai II Vengeance = Working good, no issues as of yet.
(New) N.O.V.A 3 = Runs amazing havent had any issues.
(New) Wild Blood = Works fine. No issues at all.
(New)The Amazing Spider-Man = Working good. To bad drawing distance wasnt increased for the game seeing as the s4 has so much ram
(New) Rayman Jungle Run = Works great no issues. Looks nice on the S4.
Real Boxing = WORKING FOR THE FIRST TIME :~)
9mm = NOT WORKING. Non compatible message. Still trying different versions.
NBA Jam = NOT WORKING.
Wanted to add to the list Tegra games that can be bought in the app store (just for reference):
Riptide GP = Works great. Max out graphics settings in options for water splashed on screen, better waves and all around better graphics.
I know theres more in the Play Store just cant remember right this second.
Anyone who has tested Tegra games not purchasable and purchasable in the Play Store feel free to add to the list or do your own testing with different app Could be useful later on, obv the S4 can handle these games.

I have all the files and did it all manually. Takes time for me to get them up and running to finally try but most are working.

And from what I've experience, PS3 controller doesn't work that well (I only tested it using Bluetooth). You can use the d-pad, but the buttons on the right and the joysticks don't work too well.
Buy a Moga controller online it is compatible with most games. Download the Moga app to ger an idea of what games are compatible. Basically all the games ive been testing have been updated to work wirh the Moga controller. Looks like an xbox controller with a mount for yoyr cell phone atached.
(New) Nova 3 works great also on the S4

The Moga controller works with a lot of android games and has a second mode I think that helps with emulators. Ill report back once it gets delivered.

I didnt copy I used a list I had to make the modification. Only took a 2 phone models from yours lol. I have game compatibility also on hear which saves people time and money downloading games not knowing if they work. Both our threads are great to have. Ive also been looking at getting the gamws that dont work to work somehow. Must be more of a work around.

lol riiighhhtt, if you say so...
anyways there is an app called ChainFire 3D. it requires root to work and it works by adding in the NVIDIA drivers, so tegra exclusive games can be played. It also has a PlayStore fix, but i don't know if its been tested on the S4. maybe thats something you wanna look into?
I know about Chainfire 3d. Have all ready been looking if it can help.

NVM, looks like ChainFire 3d will lead to a brick since it doesn't work on JellyBean
I tried another method. Was suppose to work on 4.2.2 but caused boot loop.
