After using a custom ROM/kernel, the phone no longer has the O2 dedicated numbers, ie check balance, buy more credit card. What's the solution to this?
http://www.o2.co.uk/top10payandgo
There's a number there to check balance, can you add that to a quick dial number?
yeah, can do that. But the o2 sim has something like 10 numbers built into it. No way of importing that?
Sim numbers do not show up with custom kernel. That's a Bug of the kernel.

Here's the problem.
I start using my SGS2 with my older SIM (lets call it SIM1), and all features of SamsungDive worked. Later, I got my number ported to new Service Provider and got new SIM (lets call it SIM2).
Now from SamsungDive account all remote features are working, except Call/Message Forwarding. When I click on Call/Message Forwarding in SamsungDive I get following Notification:
"After the SIM card of the mobile is changed, you cannot use the forwarding function in the SamsungDive service."
My understanding is that SamsungDive is not aware that now SIM2 is my primary SIM. How do I fix it? I have tried following:
1. Tried Deleting account from SamsungDive: It says its deleted but I am able to log in again
2. Tried Removing Samsung Account from SGS2, but it failed, it say other apps are using this account and only way i can do it by restoring factory defaults. Don't want to do that.
Please help.

The IEMI number is device-specific - nothing at all to do with the SIM card.
Did anybody find a solution for this?
IMSI not IMEI

Same problem here, I have Samsung Galaxy Note N7000.. I guess it's about he meant the IMSI, which is unique per SIM card, just like the IMEI for the mobile device
Samsung Dive Call forward(solved)
Dear guys, I manage to get it done. Just remove your Samsung Account( not Google account) in your phone (setting --> account), and after that re-sign in the account again you Samsung Account. After that log into SamsungDive and you will notice your device is without phone numbers. Enter your current phone number and there you go :good:
Hello
I made a trade yesterday against a galaxy tab 10.1. And I worry a sim card.
The tab usually come from Belgium (like me).
I put my sim card, tested another and it is never recognized.
I change the rom. Always the same ...
What can I do?
thank you
You have to change apn setup to the one you had with the old sim. Do some Googling about your carrier setup

Check this out also. Do you know how to put it in? Go to setting, go to wireless, go to mobile networks, go to access point names. Once in there click on top right hand, create new APN. you can name whatever you want. The important thing is under APN, you have to put the correct address ' internet.proximus.be' all other fields just leave as is. Make sure to save it before exit. Push back button, now select your newly created apn. Another important thing, hold down the power button and have data connection enabled, second option down. Hope that work for you

Hello
I do not have access to the network service. Because my sim card is not recognized at the base.
I get the following message
Insert a SIM card to access the network sevices
I hav a HTC Mozart orange... When using a different Sim card, it asks for an unlock code.. Wat do i do? ?

you have to go to the network provider of the phone and and ask them for the phones unlock code. You will more than likely have to provide them with the IMEI number of the phone. This can be obtained by dialing in *#06# and it will show then. If the number that is shown on the phone is 17 digits, you just leave out the last 2 digits. Once you have the unlock code, you simply place the sim card into the phone, make sure its a different nettowrk than default. The phone will then ask you for a PIN code, this is the unlock code that the network has provided you. Simply enter that in and your done.
I have done this on my own phone, and am now running it on a different network, so it always shows up a triangle on the very top of the screen, this simply means that its roaming. This is because its running on a different network than stock.
I recently damaged my old sim card and got my replacement two days back.
after i started using this sim card, in the scrolldown menu / lock screen, where the network name is displayed, i get: '[email protected]@@@@@@@@@'
now EE is my network. but these @s came out of nowhere. they arent there without this sim card
i have already ordered another replacement but meanwhile any quick fixes? maybe a way of changing the exact text thats displayed there?
specs
gt-i9300 non-lte
EE network (which functions normally by the way)
android 4.3 stock (can bee rooted if fix requires so.)
also this sim card has the so called quicktap / contactless payment feature and the previous one didnt
anything at all?
i rebooted, reflashed the firmware and also tried cyanogen. no use.
Root your phone
Install xposed get wanam module and look for the option to change carrier name to a custom one

My SIM card not available its phone number. Are there any way to add it to the SIM card?
I try to install my phone number app, but I can't install it. Play store show "incompatible with other applications with the same shared user ID" error. Then I use SIMNumberChanger-v1.2.apk, looks like its not permanently added phone number to my SIM card.
Anyone know how to add my phone number to SIM card?

The carrier with who you have service with would need to activate the card. Once they do so, the # will be there. If your phone is not picking up the SIM card, that's another issue entirely.
