Does not come with stock. I dont know if it could work with a custom rom?

Search for the wireless chipset used (I have no idea which one it is, sorry). It may support radio, even if there is not a stock app that uses it. For example, I know the iPhone and iPod touch's chipset supports radio, but Apple doesn't put it to use at all.

No.
And I didn't think anyone actually used that.

When theres no room for all my music on my phone ( due to no expandable memory) it comes in handy

The Sense 5 ROM comes with/came with a radio tuner, but all it gave me was static.

Applanet idea

Not sure if this has been done or not, but if there was a way we could use our android phones as a remote for our tablets to control things like the music player or set up to mimic of the tablet interface on the phone (this probably would be an ICS software trait I would think). I want to mount my flyer in my car to bluetooth my music to the headunit but would be nice to control it from my phone that sits in my lap.

I would love a app like that

Radio. Com

Has anyone tried the radio. com app with the Photon? It does not work well for me. The audio is very choppy. My brother has an old lg optimus that it works fine on. Emailing the dev has been useless. The app is up to date. Ideas?

I've tried it too, same issue...audio is very choppy so I decided to just use tune in radio.
I've been using the built in app for internet radio and my general music use. Used tune in radio for 2 minutes before uninstalling it. Lets just say the iphone version got a whole lot more love than the android version.

Tried it a couple of weeks ago last. The interface was pretty bad.
I think tune in is great. I always have. It is NOT the problem. Radio. Com is. My local station put their stream on radio. Com otherwise i wouldn't care

Phone Speaker issue

I need some help fixing the issue with my phones speaker. It works, but when using Pandora it sounds like crap. I tried messing with the phones equalizer but had no luck. Is there an update or patch I can download to fix it?
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app
Might due to software... try to disable all the equalizer. And the sound should be the original one without any noise or etc

Yeah I tried that, but to no avail:/

JB sound question

Hey everybody! I just switched from gingerbread to jb and I turn up the volume and I see that I can control all the volumes, which is cool, but I only want to change the sound for media and not ringtone and anything. So is there anyway to only turn up media like it is on gingerbread.
Sent from my YP-G70 using xda app-developers app
Not that I know of. I've had this problem too. But JB is worth it.
Sent from my YP-G70 using xda app-developers app
It will default to sound when media is playing. But no, I don't think you can change it without changing the actual ROM build.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Make sense but since I just either have notifications on or off, it'd be nice to have it like gingerbread

This may be a question to ask the developer in the specific thread that the ROM is updated in. or at least search in the thread to see if anyone else has asked.

[Q] AT&T LG Optimus G, turn on just BT Audio streaming?

So I have 2 phones and I have a new car stereo that is paired to both. I only need to LG for audio streaming and I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the phone portion under the LG BT control Panel. I know on some older Android phones I could tell it I just wanted to use the BT for Audio Streaming but on this one there are 2 options underneath the profile for the radio and when i click them it just tries to connect to the radio is that connection type, I can't uncheck the boxes. Pictures below to show what happens.
Try to do it when you are in the car, with it already connected.

I will try it again without the other phone paired and see if it matters. What LGOG do you have though, just curious.
Just the stock At&t LGOG. And yeah it should work. i tried it with it no being connected to anything and it was doing the same thing, and i tried it in my car and it let me unselect it.

Got it working but if I use the other phone and then turn off my BT on it and then turn the BT on the LGOG I can't play anything off of it, ugh. Probably a problem with the radio.
