Sony xperia P 1080p VDO Playback Support - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi Guys,
im new to this site and im new to android too.....
i need a help from you guys as my xperia p (which is with ICS) doesn't playback 1080p HD videos properly (it gets stuck). so i googled and found a solution in this site.

but as i told above im new to this and its like rocket science for me..... therefore could some please help me to teach how to do this. (im sorry if im asking for a stupid thing, but as i dont know about this i need your help)
therefore it is much appreciated if some one could help me to get a idea on doing this....
also my phone has the famous xperia P Camera issue too.... so please try to help me on this too....
at least please redirect me to a simple tutorial to do this in a very easy way....

easy
root install recovery
then flash this mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32824752 this will solve the problem

holy crap! does this work on sola too
coz i'm gonna flash this on my girlfriend's sola she keeps bugging me about 1080p movies on her sola

Just give a try but remember to do an nandroid backup

Sola doesn't support 1080p no matter what mod you apply. It doesn't have the same video encoder/decoder as P inside the SOC.

Xperia P can play most 1080p videos (With hardware acceleration too). I watch even 1080p mkv movies on this phone. But some videos due to complex decoding might end up lagging. That can't be helped. Btw, cyanogenmod Roms make high resolution videos lag. Videos that run absolutely fine on original roms lag like hell on custom rom. So try to stay away from them or use those that are based on Sony roms. (Experience V2 is highly recommended).

yeah i noticed that back when i had my old sola..i used to play full hd videos using mx player with h/w acceleration and you're right, it was able to play but with some lag
