[Q] [HELP] X10 Mini Pro Booting Problem - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi, I tried installing a custom rom on my x10 mini pro. I did rooting, unlocking bootloader, and flashing custom kernel right (I also did it on my x8). I attempted to install gingerDX v31b under nAa 14 kernel. After flashing the rom and rebooting to system, the phone keeps getting stuck on nAa logo and then it restarts, gets stuck on nAa logo and restarts again.
I also tried flashing naa jb kernel and a jb rom, and i still get the same results. What could be the problem and how will I be able to fix it?

Maybe you got your kernel and rom from the wrong place. If you have an X10MiniPro make sure you get kernel and rom from the x10minipro section too, and not from the x10mini section. Although the phones seem similar apart from the keyboard, they do have a different digitizer too.

On which kernel are you now? If you're on a JB kernel, make a full wipe ( data,cache,dalvik-cache,system), install a GB Kernel and then install GDX. If you're on a GB kernel, also make a full wipe and then install GDX. Of course, make sure youre using the right ROM and kernel for your device.
Please press thanks if I helped .

I am using xperia x10 mini I update my rom to cm7 2.2, rooted suuccessfully before updating, unlock bootloader successfully, flash nAa kernel, backup data, wipe data, install cm7 zip file from sd card, install gapps from sdcard successfully, but it will not work. it is not switched on show only logo(freedom within nAa kernel) and switch off then switched on show logo, repeatedly. For switching off i have to press back button when logo appear and go to power off. What can I do? Please help me.
Flash nAa 11 kernel from here
The kernel you flashed is ONLY for ICS roms, currently only working with the miniCM9 rom, the rom you have is a gingerbread.
Good luck

[Q] Flashed ROM stuck in boot animation

I tried flashing the latest FXP CM9 ROM on my X10, but it got stuck right at the SE orb. I've tried flashing multiple times but the error is always the same.
There are two files, one with kernel and one without. I suppose I should install the one with the kernel and so I did via Flashtool. For some reason though, I can't seem to get the Flashtool to install CWM to try the other version without the kernel. I wasn't able to ask for root perms either despite the phone having root. Any idea?

For FXP CM9 you need unlocked bootloader for starters as described here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253277 Follow carefully as if you mess it up u can perma break your signal, you then need the latest FXP Kernel for the ROM which is provided in the package from FXP, Install the Kernel boot into CWM5 and then install ROM also make sure your on BB .71 i believe although dont quote me on that.
You shouldnt have any SE Splash logo or orb logo, should be FXP logo and CM9 boot ani.
Good Luck hope you get there in end!
(Wont be held responsible for any damage at all, as well as any other devs)

[Q] CWM Recovery Help

Hello there,
I have recently attempted to install a custom ROM on my Xperia U . I rooted using bin4ry , then unlocked bootloader. Everything was fine up to that point. Then I tried to use RecoverX to install CWM. The tool said it was a success, but device could not boot into recovery. It looked like the tool did nothing. I then found a custom kernel by AOKP that had CWM Recovery in it. I flashed and got recovery , but stuck in bootloop. I recovered from this by flashing B.10 stock firmware on my Xperia U using flashtools. I am now looking for ways to install CWM recovery safely.
What's the best way to install CWM in my current situation?
What caused the bootloop I experienced(out of curiosity)?

AOKP is not stock rom..
so its kernel is also not based n stok rom...thats why you got bootloop...
just download kernel which is based on sock rom like trancsend kernek...or phantom...
if you have jb then experimenatal kernel will be best....
and use flashtool to flash kernel...it is the easiest way to flash kernel..
all this kernels are prerooted and has cwm 6.x.x recovery.....
you will get this kernels in devlopment section....
Thank you!
Got it working!
I started off by installing transcendence kernel for stock ROMs. That went flawlessly and so I was presented with CWM recovery(which I started by repeatedly pressing Vol- when the transcendence logo comes up). Went to look for a ROM and found MIUI v4 for Xperia U, followed the instructions and flashed with CWM recovery.Very beautiful ROM. I got all my files from the Xperia U Development section.
Thanks for your help and a big thank you to the developers who make this possible. highfive:

Most kernels nowadays have light notification or vibration or borh for the time you need to press the volume button for cwn, if yours does you only need to press it once within 3 seconds.

[Q] X10i stuck on boot screen after Fera Custom ROM v36 installed !!!

Hello experts , I did a first attempt at installing a custom ROM (Ferra Jelly Bean v 36 for Xperia X10i) and everything went smooth, (my device was rooted and bootloader unlocked and CWM v5 installed) but for the first boot, only SONY ERICSSON appears and just stays that way with the SONY ERICSSON name.
Is it all dead or do I have some hope of reviving it? if yes then can you please help me?

Use SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) to re-flash your original Sony Ericsson ROM.
Download the FeraLab ROM GB v36 zip file to your phone.
Flash FeraLab Kernel v18.4 using Flashtool
Restart your phone.
Enter CWM recovery at the blue light/pink light and install FeraLab GB v36 ROM.
Reboot.
If it doesn't boot up completely and hangs during first start-up , re-flash Feralab Kernel v18.4 and then reboot again.
I'm having the same problem, X10i is stuck on the SE boot screen. This happened directly after I flashed the Feralab v36 rom, however, I couldn't flash the latest kernel beforehand, because flash tool failed to do it. I have xRecovery installed, but I cannot access it. Not only that but it does not seem to want to go into flash mode, have tried using flash tool to flash stock rom, I have tried using SEUS, and PC Companion. Nothing has worked so far.

As @doodownunda has mentioned, if you have access to Flashtool (Not sure why you don't have access to SEUS/PCC then) you can flash Tof37 X10S v9 ROM as the whole thing including kernel is a Flashtool flashable image. It's an all in one Kernel/ROM.
xRecovery is old school and comes with older Kernels, but CWM recovery is the main now.
Volume up button to access CWM recovery at the first flashing light on booting if needed at a later stage.
Seem you didn't flash the right kernel..
Sent from my X10i using xda app-developers app
You need to reflash 2.3.3 generic firmwares a:laugh:nd try install the rom again..
