Any actually good ICS rom? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello there
I'm trying to find an actually good ICS rom for the Sola but im afraid i can't find anything.
The only good i tried so far is FXP but it still has bugs like Notification Led, Soft Buttons backlight, Illumination bar, FM Radio. Except from these and maybe the LCD backlight levels, it's pretty good actually. Very fast and can actually be used daily even with apps running.
On official .54 stock ICS even with ALL bloatware removed, i cant seem to use it daily if i don't restart it at least every 20 hours and if i use more than 2-3 apps and with active threads on background limit more than 2.. It's pretty bad. Even now that i don't really have any apps except EXDialer, Google Talk and Nova launcher, its performance is pathetic. Calls that take ages to answer, sometimes i cant even type a sms message due to lag and well, calling is laggy as hell too. That's with WhatsAPP frozen in my system.. I only unfreeze occasionaly and just for a few minutes to get any messages. Otherwise it makes you wanna break the phone on the wall.
Performance was only good (not just good, it was really great) with FXP and Gingerbread. Maybe before .54 it was better but i don't really remember.
Any ideas?
Thanks friends.

try eXperiance. It's what I use on my sola since January. It has (optional) memory tweaks and a very mild overclock, and the former tweak is rather noticeable over stock ICS.
And yeah, the 2.1 has no bugs at all afaik. All fast, all smooth. Longish boot times, but not that relevant.

so i installed it
and i keep resarting
there is lag from time to time. even honeycomb was faster.
is there a reason why? i did install supplement.
is it possible for ANYONE to make a single install then 2?
also is there a reason why my wifi signal is so low now. Or is it just how the new icon displays it.
first time it restarted was when i was downloading stuff from market.
then when i was playing videos on rock player
and then it completely froze when i was skipping around in a 1080 trailer
btw how come my wallpaers are scaled and cropped in launcher pro and not default launcher. i dont want to use default vega launmcher. just a personal choice. I shall contact launcherpro and see but figured if anyone knew
so i tired putting a different kernal on.
Wifi signal was improved but now drops more frequently.
also was looking into making 1 update for others.
if i just merged both zips. within 7zip would that break sign or would i need to re-sign it?
for 1080. the high profile issue answer that i was given seems to be right. but it still plays. only when i skip around in the vid does it freeze or force close
the lag has gotten better since install rom but seems much slower the non overclocked roms. dont know why.
i have tried wiping data and cache. same results.
well this rom was poorly made. Decided to switch.
I just wonder, if so many people can post hateful comments why they dont put their time to good use. oh well.

ICS SOD and Crashes

Hello There I updated my folio to cm9 and found out that i cannot post on developement , so i decided to create a new thread to here in order to publish todays testing of the new rom.
First thing is that i installed with cwm 5.0.0.9 with no problem so that worked too.
It worked smooth and fast. Not as fast as foliomod 1.4 but almost.
I have SOD with no app installed only market. (i try to reinstall with the creator proposed recovery)
I found that i can install now the 3.1 and up applications like adobe photoshop and ideas .
I painted photoshop for a few hours and had a strange freezing first than after a minute and so it came to life by itself.
30 minutes later it freezed for good and it ruined the system so i had to reinstall the ROM...
I couldnt make a photo of the system message of boot error but it said 2 differend one wifi related and 1 driver related...
(sorry i have no chance to logcat because of win7... If someone pm me about a solution of logcat work in win7)
I am a newbie so i dont know how to use developer related programs and webpages but i try to share information with the community here.
All in all i think this ROM is faster and better than honeycomb mods and runs photoshop (i wanted a tablet to paint...)
I had strange wifi signal ups and downs during connection...
working:
- UI
- Wifi
- Bluetooth
- Sensors
- Audio
- Gapps
- skype, imo
- games (cut the rope), gameloft apps (x2 optimus version)
not working
-youtube app
-flash in browsers
-playing flash videos
I want to thank for all who is working on the ICS ROMs right now, you do a really good job guys, please keep up so we can all have a very good tablet working .
Im looking forward for solutions for not working parts and updates .
So glad to hear the photoshop works on it - that's one of the apps that I was really hoping would work. Did you say that photoshop remained pretty stable over those few hours?
I know that the rom is going to be pretty unstable though - SOD is not a real issue to me, but the rom corrupting itself is a bit of a worry!
no sod for me, stable rom, youtube works fine, remove the hd video display, we have to wait for the flash player updates the rom, maybe you should use the Opera browser.
Hey guys,
Flash didnt work with my 4.0.3 Rom too. The "SOD" wakes up after round about 30 sec in my case, dont reboot so fast.
Working Stuff:
Apparatus
GTA 3 (v. 1.2)
Youtube (not full tested)
Reckless Racing HD
My Issues:
Sound sometimes didnt work after "half SOD"
Wlan Problems (didnt connect to my wlan, after reboot 2 or 3 times its gone, this bug is since the Dexter 0.3 mod)
My Question:
Can i change the Resolution? The HC 0.3 Rom, had the best for my opinion
Anyone try a usb gamepad? This would be awesome with the snes emu
Can i turn off the softkeys?
Can i fix the 180° display rotation from bootup?
I will try some tests and things and give feedback.
best regards
Dave
A guy called Strozzi posted that
Screen rotation: OK but after having enabled it in the trebuched app

Does that fix what you mean?
I find the whole 10 posts before you post in the development section a bit silly. I understand the desire for the forum to not be full of 'noobs' but I registered because I could help with an answer to a question that someone asked. Oh well...
Loving all your reports on ICS tho... going to give it a try once the app store starts showing everything! Photoshop is the main pull for me tho...
It was stable until the slowup and freeze, i think it is useful if u save frequently. It has the core funcions of everything you need in photoshop.
someone write that the flash contend work only with the opera browser, i will test this at the evening.
What i mean with the rotation is, the display looks greater when the screen is 180° rotated

Ah yes, i dont think thats possible to phisically turn the display 180 degrees because of construction... It is the biggest fault in toshiba's development history to use a screen like this...
SO todays testing last update on cm9:
Still no idea on SOD.
I got into a bootloop from a normal power off than power on with wifi
After that loop i used mblasters recovery to reinstall it again...
got into bootloop right after intstall. I did a factory reset to get it started up again.
I got a system up and running again with no apps :S
I dont think this is app related...
I have SOD with the new recovery too. Looks like i'm the only one fighting with SOD. ( my device go to hibernation after 30 sec from screen off and no way to wake it up)
And.... after the first SOD i got into bootloop again... then with a simple restart it is working... i dont know what to do now. Maybe reinstall is not necessary if this happens every now and then...
i got the 2. time a SOD, dunno why its totally random....
Flash didnt work with the Opera Browser. I think i make a fastboot -w shortly and test it again.
Its possible that is the old genovea problem with the 256 mhz and vcore bug, with the SOD?
I think i install a Linux to get some logcat output.
edit: im a dumbass, logcat also available @ adb.exe logcat :/
best regards
Dave
really good job on this rom! Try it with ADW launcher EX and it will run completely smooth!
It's an experimental build and we already have a nearly stable rom, it just needs to improve the performance, add ondemand cpu governor (performance governor has horrible battery life), get flash working, use camera (not really important for me) and we would have the perfect rom!

Someone mentioned in the dev thread that there is no flash version for ICS yet which is why flash isn't working. This true?
As for camera - really not a biggie. They'll only get that working once the source for it is released. Not sure if that is...
The strange thing is that some people are saying this rom is perfect and stable while others are talking about it crashing and going into a bootloop... :/

It's pretty stable for me, I'm using it as "every-day" rom. Flash Player for ICS was released in December, also I've seen it working nicely on a GT-i9000 with 4.0.3 just downloading flash from android market.
I neither care about the camera. I've never used it. Now I rmember another problem on the rom: USB storage (connecting folio to PC) doesn't work.
Well I bit the bullet and have gone to CM9. The rom is great, took a while to get my google account setup (kept getting the unreliable connection error) but overall I was impressed. One SOD but seems way more stable than foliomod and the speed is great.
My only question is... How did you guys get apps on that aren't 'supported'. Two apps that I know work are 'unsupported'. Do I just change the build.prop or are you guys using a different method? Really want photoshop touch and RawVision on my device.
Oh and a small tip, I forgot to wipe when I upgraded and I had a working update from CM7. Only issue was that the market app was broken, but as that's pretty integral I had to wipe...
tested the new build, so far it has he same issues as the previous build, but Wifi lost when tablet is sleeping seems to be fixed! Also I've noticed that multi-mount sdcard app doesn't work now.
new version
I still cannot get the folio out of hibernation in cm9, however i figured out that my total crash message was not real. When freezed, the folio wont boot for a while (30 minutes or so). After about half an hour it is booting like nothing happened. Freezing was a rare thing with r1 now it is regular, so it is not too good. I think battery drain is still problem. Many apps is working corrupted or not work at all, but some other work that not before. Oh and you have to forget flash for now. I think it is still not good for everyday use but it is definitely not far from that. Hold on for 1 more month Nopy pls.

After instaling last cm9 version with 2.6.39 kernel I can't get rid off SOD...
hi there,
i just installed the new CM9.0.0.0
Great ROM, very good job, everything seems to work fine
Just one thing : i've got something like small electrical discharge when i touch the screen, i can hear the sound of it like static electricity
Am i the only one and what can i do?
Market not working
Hi *,
also installed cm9 with kernel 2.6.29.
A real awesome rom, thank you for the good work!
I have the issue that apps won't install in the market. When trying to download, folio says that an error has occured.
Any hint what could cause this behavior?
I installed the gApps with clockworkmod recovery.
renamed zinfile in update.zip, copied to sdcard
booted into recovery
applied update.zip to recovery.
Apps work, market also but u can't donload any app.
thanks,
Buggi

[Q] Statusbar is a bit laggy

Hey guys I need your help The problem is that when i scroll down the statusbar it seems a little bit laggy for me. Is that normal and could you check it out on your devices? And it's only laggy when I let it scroll down slowly.
DaGodfather
I've not experienced lag on the notification bar myself, but could you give us more info? What ROM are you on, and how can we reproduce the problem?
I am on Omega 10.4 with Phenomenal 4.0 kernel. I will try FOiL 1.4 soon..
It's more likely (nearly 100% likely) to be an issue with your current configuration (ROM & kernel), so a change of ROM will probably resolve the issue, or at least change it. If you want to be sure then the best bet is to flash one of the stock or lighter ICS ROMs.
I just changed the rom and it got much better thanks mate Just one more question. Could it be that after a kernel "settles" the device could become smoother. Because i flashed Phenomenal 4.0 a few hours ago.
maybe is your ROM ... I'm using latest sammy ICS XXLPB and the status bar scroll down is super fast
Hmm okay i will try it out. How is the batterylife?

There are things that will only happen after a wipe/reset, which I assume you did as part of the flash. I suppose if you had a lot of Google data syncing then it could slow your device down for a considerable amount of time. It depends if you use things like the Google backup/restore that automatically (when it feels like it) reinstalls your market apps, or if you've got a LOT of contacts. Also the usual suspects, like Facebook and Google+.
It'll obviously vary from device-to-device, depending on how you use it. Also, I always make sure to enable wifi (if available) as soon as possible after a flash, just to ensure that any syncing is as quick as possible and not eating into my data plan.
Hmm i wiped cache and dalvik cache before i flashed the kernel but after the flash i didn't do anything like that Hmm i guess i should free my device from all that crap. thanks again!!

A little overview on Custom Stable Roms vs Stock 2.1

Helo,
recnetly i have checked few roms and used for some time with stock kernel. I have tried Ginger DX, minicm7 v21. And here what conclution i came to:
Best rom is....stock one 2.1, no matter what features other roms do have still 2.1 is the best.
Why ? here is a lilttle overview what i think minicm7 and most of custom roms have better essential stuff than stock.
Advantages:
New android market
Battery life
New android version 2.3x
Flash Support
Better sound quality on video camera
Disadvantages:
Bad performance
roaming doesnt work properly (in some countries it connects to network in some it does not)
native thetering doesnt work
user interface just looks awful compared to original stock
Photo camera application (picture quality is just bad compared to stock)
Opera browser doesnt work stable
So i just pointed the things whom i think are really essential for a good rom.
Now a little notice about performance...
Dont be fools, do not believe that 2.3 has better performance than Stock.
IT DOES NOT
Only Quadrant scores are higher, but in practise performance is worse!
with same launcher pro and even less icons and widgets on minicm7 the performance is way worse than stock rom. For example if i want to give a call and open contacts i have to wait for a second at least to load contacts application, same with messages unless i kill all the tasks. I dont have this with stock rom. Another notice, if i use lets say Opera browser or Gameboid emulator and then go back to dekstop, widgets and icons always has to be re-drew per new. This doesnt happen on stock. Overal even with killed apps games on 2.3 are running worse then on stock 2.1 (Where is my water? Angry Birds, Gameboid, Snesoid).
So is it really worth to upgrade? I think no it is not worth to upgrade. Unless you die-hard need Flash Support and Video Camera sound. Then yes. For the rest, no i dont think so.

bad performance - sorry but i do tweaks so mine is better than stock
roaming - dont need it
tethering - is there a native tether with stock?
awful interface - maybe but stock is well stock cant be changed
opera browser - mines doing great
I use MiniCM7 Pro V21 (By god Paul) on my phone and I'm just happy, stock user interface is so ugly compared to MiniCM7.
Only think I dont like is the Camera freezes sometimes while recording a video.

After I discover XDA-developers ....
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe....... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion....... I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhäuser Gate....... All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain...... Time to die......
....Time to back to Stock 2.1......
Sorry, it's only a joke, all opinions are wellcome and very respectables but, after I read your post, this scene of Blade Runner return to my memory.
A little tribute to Bade Runner.....
I think Stock is best rom... No bugs + good performance(i dont think in games )

Maybe, but on stock rom I can't connect via adhoc connection. I share internet connectio via notebook. And on stock rom it is imposible to connect on that type of wifi connection.
Also, I need ultra brightness, what is also weak point for stock rom.
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
Yeah stock dont have usb and wifi tethering but in market u can find aps like EastTether or WifiTether.
And stock have best launcher for this device but I think this launhcer needs modification.I dont like this fact Only 1 widget at screen and no icons at screen.
Only corners

I respect your opinion but I don't agree. Stock from is full of touch bugs, lacks dual touch, native tethering( works now with latest custom gb and ics nAa roms) . Also, we cannot remove some of the bloatware as it is attached to some .apk bundle and we could end in boot loop or even constant force close messages. I forgot to mention that /system has 20 mb only free so laggs are guaranteed... no apps to fat32 option. I tried many times to undervolt my stock roms with apps and .ko files etc. but didn't make it... stock battery life sucks.... gaming experience is cr4p.... I can't remember anything else cause I am on custom built roms many months now.... every opinion is well accepted.

Custom > Stock.
Only if you understand well how the phone works and how to set the phone's settings and features to it's minimum or maximum performance. And also, if you managed to tweak the phone to it's best performance.
Else, Stock is the best and only option for you.
Also @ OP, those disadvantages you pointed out, on the latest stable custom ROMS out there, all of it works fine now. Except ICS, still has work to be done with that version.

Stock is nice but i think the custom rom's have more advantages that cover its disadvantages.
As for me the only disadvantage in custom rom's would be the hopeless battery life.

not really i believe you can use governors in custom roms but not in stock rom. thats why i have custom rom so i can use governors and apps to sd
Prefer custom
I've been using custom Roms for a very long time, now.
I must say that, even though custom roms have some bugs, stock rom has some bugs also. And it lacks some features, which I consider essential.
The most important is the ability of saving apps in SD card. I know (and I've used it) there's link2SD, but I needed to root my device as well. Link2SD was very unstable.
Stock lacks flash and some apps won't run under 2.1.
Battery life? The same.
Stock apps? Great looks, I'll give them that. But some are very basic.
I needed to install some apps that come with custom roms. I prefer to install custom rom.
The main app, to me, is phone/contacts. Stock app is lame.
Will stick to cm7-2.2.0, for now.
Sorry to disagree in every point. I have a x10 mini (not pro).
I couldn't find a single advantage on the stock rom over the custom miniCM7 (2.2.1).
The stock 2.1 rom feels like a slower CPU and GPU, it's sluggish and lags to the touch. I think the interface is OK, with the corner shortcuts and the bigger icons. It was well designed, but I always end up unintentionally arrainging icons in the menus and the corner shortcuts because of the lag. Applications are painfully slow, including the dialer. As a windows computer: when I fresh install (factory reset) the mini, it's fairly responsive, but as soon as I install half a dozen apps it gets sluggish again.
Bad performance?
-no, much better responsiveness and performance with miniCM7 even with lots of apps installed.
roaming doesnt work properly (in some countries it connects to network in some it does not)
-This one I can't tell
native thetering doesnt work
-stock has none.
user interface just looks awful compared to original stock
-matter of taste maybe. I like the new UI better all the way.
Photo camera application (picture quality is just bad compared to stock)
-Maybe in older versions? this one works better, and now I can have instagram.
Opera browser doesnt work stable
-It works fine here.
I am a little dazzled because, in my x10 mini, things are about opposite. Everything is just smoother with the new rom, and the old rom fails me exactly in the way the new rom fails to you: it's unresponsive, slow, annoying, glitchy. Maybe it's just personal taste, or something is different between our phones.

DX2 has a new exciting life with CM10

I have been running CyanogenMod 10 Alpha 2 by dragonzkiller for a couple of days now and can say...my phone has never been better! As is expected there were some hiccups, but overall this thing rides smooth! What does everyone else think about it and what has been their experiences?
Here is what I've found so far
Not working:
Facebook
Dolphin Browser
SMS does not show text in field, and notifications do not show.
My workarounds:
Opera browser has so far worked flawlessly.
Friendcaster works fine in place of FB.
Combination of Handcent SMS and SMS popups as workaround to native SMS issue.
Weird things yet to be worked out or around:
File explorers (so far ES and File Expert) randomly will not delete or rename files.
And again, this ROM is great (thank you dragonzkiller!). Too bad providers didn't push for Jelly Bean on these models because I think it works the best so far. Older in the cycle, so I understand. I still have about of week of testing before I praise it any further, but so far I am mega happy. I can say this having tried various other ROMS throughout the year or so I've owned this phone, and of those I am coming from what I consider a rock stable ROM, Liberty3.
Introduction:
I have been using CM10 for a month and a half now. My review is based on the standard of an every day driver. I understand that Dragonzkiller is the only developer for this ROM and basically for DX2 (as far as I know) but I use my phone with the intention of USING it. With this in mind, I've been struggling with the idea of reverting back to the stock OS or some other rom because of some key issues I have with the current alpha release.
Pros:
Status Bar brightness control: Although you have to disable auto brightness, this is the biggest plus for me, mainly because auto brightness never seems to be good enough. Its always slighty too dim or too bright, even with custom brightness levels. The negative of this would be that if you have a passworded lock screen (swype lock screens don't affect this) the status bar is not click able so you can't increase brightness. This is a big issue if your screen is on the lowest brightness and you need to unlock your phone in the sun. This is mostly for taste. I find this feature highly convenient and puts control in my hands. Although automatic brightness works, it doesn't work well enough for me.
Toggle buttons in the notification pull down menu: This is insanely convenient. This coupled with the long pressing option to open the corresponding settings menu is also one of the biggest things keeping me with CM 10
Swypable notifications: You have no idea how convenient this is until you have it. To be able to pick and chose which notifications to dismiss with the swype of a finger.
Screen Shot and restart option in the power menu: I restart and screen shot enough that these options need to be in the power menu or somehow accessible
Everything else ICS and CM10 provides: I really dislike how Ginger Bread looks. It just doesn't have the nice clean feel. CM10 gets it right with the minimalistic look and design while adding features hidden where they should be hidden. Honestly, this is a HUGE plus. I really like the way CM10 looks and feels over almost every other ROM. I haven't found one that I've liked more than CM10.
Cons:
Most apps that use some form of a web view crash: A web view is a little window that renders webpages for you. Apps like Facebook use to use this and they crashed all the time. Exceptions include the stock web browser and most other web browsers. The reason for this crash is that there is a fatal Out Of Memory exception.
Google Now takes way longer to load: Yes, I already said that apps take a while to load but Google Now seems to take 5 seconds MINIMUM up to 10 seconds. I don't know why. I tried disabling the "Say Google to search" feature as well as the cards and that seems to have cut down on the load time but if Google Now is something you really want/need, this is a huge drawback.
Apps take a long time to load: Long is a subjective term so I'm defining it as between 1 second to just initialize to 3-5 seconds on a bad day. I am very sure this is because our phone has very little ram so the OS has to free some space for the new app and this is an intensive process that take that much time. At first, I pushed this off as some issue that doesn't really need attention but when you are trying to add a contact and it takes 5 seconds to load the Phone app, then another five seconds to load the People app, you're going to start being annoyed. Want to take a picture of your contact, add another 5 seconds to load the camera app.
The flashlight button in the notification pull down will crash: It will crash. You tap the button and it crashes. You long press and it crashes. Don't even bother. That's a big enough con for me to give it a mention and put it in the middle of my list. There have been a few times when I've needed a flashlight only to realize I need to actually open an app for it. I think the next best thing is to put the flashlight app in the swype to unlock menu.
Media Player stutters under load: Remember how I told you that app loading is an intensive process? Apparently, the thread priority for the media player process is lower than the app loading process. I say this based on the fact that as I play music from Pandora, if I press back, switch apps, or open a new app, the music from Pandora starts cutting and stuttering almost like a buffer, but not quite. I have not tried this with other music players but I have done it with another youtube player and I get the same problems. I haven't tried this with Google Music though so you may have some luck with that.
System Crashes: Rarely will my phone reboot on me for some strange reason. It has happened to me maybe 5 times in the last month and a half but it has happened. I don't really consider this a con just because it's so rare but it happens.
Google Maps Street View Crashes all the time: I believe this is related to the problem with Google Chrome. I remember reading that our kernel doesn't support certain drawing textures or drawing APIs so any app that tries to use those methods force close without warning.
Here are the apps I run and why:
Facebook Bookmark: I have a bookmark to facebook.com instead of using the facebook app mainly because the app USED to crash very frequently in the alpha one release (it used to use webviews instead of native code). I haven't noticed it crashing on me recently so I may switch back to using the stock Facebook App.
Go SMS: Simply because I like the look and feel of Go SMS better. It's really your choice on this one. I also like the popup notification when I receive messages that Go SMS provides over the one that the stock Messaging app provides.
K9-Mail: The stock E-Mail app crashed very frequently on me in the alpha one release. I could never figure this one out because it would crash even without the web views open. It may be fixed now but I've gotten used to K9-Mail
Stock Browser: Most other browsers clutter the screen (like Opera). I don't run firefox because I tried the beta release and it was very lacking. Google Chrome crashes all the time because of the kernel issue. I really enjoy using the stock browser with the "Quick Control" feature enabled under "Labs" in the stock Browser app. It cleans up the screen really well.
aCalendar: The widget is better. Plain and simple. I use day view for the widget. I use the widget on it's own home screen.
gTasks: Just something to use. I mostly use the widget on it's own home screen full sized
Conclusion:
Although I cannot recommend this ROM as an every day driver, I have to say that it does provide some serious features with some serious drawbacks. It is really up to you in my opinion because even I cannot decide whether it is a good or a bad ROM. The reason why I would flash a ROM is because I want to increase usability and to clean up my cluttered OS. However, minimalistic ROMs don't provide the features that CM10 provide. Those features definitely come in handy at times. Moreover, I like the CM10 lock screen way more but that's just taste. The reason why I haven't discarded CM10 already is because I can probably live with the longer load times for apps and the spontaneous crashes. The crashes are either rare enough to not bother me or predictable enough that I can avoid them.
My recommendation would be to try it out and see if you can live with it. If you can live with it, then you should definitely run it because it is by far the best app around. This is a good rom but not good enough for a solid recommendation. However, it is amazing it is still only on Alpha 2 considering how well it works for an alpha.
By the way, if you're coming form CM7/9, definitely jump to CM10. The decrease in force closes is worth the increase in app load time.
randomKID thanks for the awesome breakdown of the pros and cons you've found in this ROM. You still using it?

It's been 5 days and it's holding quite well except my batteries drain 3 to 4 times as faster. I don't use 3G so it's disabled throughout the day. I'm coming from Gingerbread 4.3.3.

Gingerbread 4.3.3?
Well I do love CM10. I was getting some great battery life out of it. Wonder if everyone was/is that uses or used it? I had workarounds for just about every bug but one- the camcorder. I had to have a good working camcorder and the Videocam Illusion app was not reliable enough. Why so necessary? A 6 month old little girl that daddy loves to capture every day So I went to Eclipse but was not at all impressed with the battery usage (ROM was fine otherwise). I have now landed back on CM7 which I test drove some months ago. I will go back to CM10 provided there is an update that speaks to the camcorder issue. If not, I will hang out here for awhile most likely :silly:
You should try Eclipse 1.3 as I net 1.5-2 days of light use (phone calls / sms / fb) and it's blazing fast. I just put 2.3 on a few days ago and it's a very solid ROM but the speed isn't like 1.3 thou

I think I'll give that a try
I have serious battery issues running CM10. My battery NEVER lasts a full day on light/moderate use. When I was on CM7, I used to get a day and a half out of moderate use, so I'm a bit upset at that. I still prefer it to CM7 though, mostly because of the layout and the fact that my WiFi doesn't constantly lose connection. But the constantly-crashing apps and battery life have me ready to move on from the phone altogether. :/
Google Nexus 4, I'm on my way...
