Status bar is controlled by a hex code in status_bar.xml and you can point that to a png created by you or you can change its hex code

Decompile every app that has tranparent parts, change the coding and then recompile and flash.
I cant find anywere to remove this brightness bar in my notification bar in lg8 can it be done??

You can so it yourself if you know how someone posted a flashabke zip on here a while back I'll take a look and repost it here if I can find it .

Can't be removed unless modded out. Or find yourself a new Rom. It's permanent on the Rom your using.

Recently I got apk tool with gui
I was able to decompile an apk
Bt my question is what is purpose of decompiling it? what to modify in the app? Something special can I do wid this?

Hi everybody!
I have 2 questions!
I'm building a ROM and first thing I want to have is a column at Device Info for my ROM-Name.
2nd thing is, can anybody tell me how to make the statusbar on the lockscreen transparent?

Yeah. Example on WanamLite, there you can see one column in Device Info (I don't know what is the right expression for this thing this)... The column is called "WanamLite ROM", so I want to include such thing too.
Here's a tip, have a look in wanam's /system/build.prop

I don't know actually never tried on just the lock screen, will have to look into that, will let you know if I find out unless anyone else replies to you about it.
