[Q] random popping noise - HTC One X+

I'm running elegancia 4.8.0 for the ATT HOX+ and after configuring dsp manager, ill randomly get these weird popping noises. Does anyone else experience this? It still happens even after removing dsp.

Are you noticing this when listening to music or randomly at any time?

I have the same problem. It's not always 100% but it's always on phone calls.

I experience this when refreshing my twitter feed.

I get it playing music through headphones
Always thought it may have been a custom kernel related issue

It happens at random. But not when I play music

I have this on my HTC One X only when I'm playing music through blue tooth. If I use an aux cable it's fine. And I'm not sure if it still does it since I rooted my phone as I have only used the aux cable since.

[Q] Buzz during call

Is anyone else getting a really annoying rattle or buzz in the earpiece when the call volume is turned up above 60% or so? I have no sound manager apps installed or anything of the like. I have had the phone for one week as of today.
Yes, same thing here. ATT OX+. Un-Un rooted. That and ppl say the voice quality sucks compared to my 2yr old EVO. Starting to wonder....

Mine is going from fine to bad and back and forth. No rhyme or reason.
Update on the earpiece. I was just about to swap it out but then during the call it stopped buzzing and became clear. It did this when I took it away from my face and did something onscreen during the call. If it was a hardware issue, it would do it every call and during the whole call in my opinion. I'll leave it as is no app installs etc for 24 hours and see if it changes back.

Weird sound from the HOX+

Hi
I've got the following problem:
One day I was just dozing off while I have my headphones on, and after waking up I noticed the sound only comes out of the right ear! OK, I figured out that that's my headphone's problem, but I then plugged AUX to my car. The sound was weird, it echoes unnaturally, and I don't think my 3rd party equalizer is running at that time. Does anyone have any idea what's happening?
Also, I unfortunately soaked my phone a bit while cleaning it. I don't think the water got to the headphone hole.

Mine same thing...but only for certain player...the default music is good though and denon music palyer is good...the bad and weird noise are double twist and rocket...
That after I installed newest software update..which is 1.17.707.1..
Before update is fine...
Hope future software update fix

Thanks for all replies! I will try drying it with a hairdryer
BTW I just got this phone 3 weeks ago, so I guess it's the water.

Sound issues with the headset

Hey when i start a phonecall with my htc headset or my Sennheiser hs i can hear my own voice when i speak does anyone have the same bug or can anyone confirm this?

The HTC provided headset is lousy. It sucks. Get a third party one. It makes music worth listening too.

As you can read i got a Sennheiser headset, actually the mm70s my question is when i call someone why i can hear myself trough the mic in my earphones. The sound from the mic seems not to be muted for my earphones and i can listen to my own voice when i talk to someone thats annoying. Does it happen on Stock Roms also or on Stock based Costum Roms?

this has nothing to do with any brand of hs
actually I tried it on sense and the same happens but I don't have the latest updates installed
so what we would like to know is if it still happens using a sense based rom using the latest available updates

Audio/Video Sync Issue

So I've had my HTC One for awhile now, and it's been great, but as of recently every video I watch in the browser or in YouTube is out of sync with the audio. I'm running stock At&t, not rooted. Tried rebooting, turning off beats, I just don't know what's going on...
Thanks in advance, there may already be a topic regarding this but if there is it's buried.

Well a fix for the time being seems to be turning off fast boot and rebooting... I still don't understand what is going on with this but it's working for now.

Very low in call volume

I have horrid hearing, but I could hear perfectly fine on the Nokia lumia I had before this phone..
If I'm around any background noise I can't hear anything.. has anyone else had this issue?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Omg yes!! I've tried everything to fix this. I've even gone to AT&T to get a replacement, which temporarily resolved the issue. I'm about to make another trip back, who knows might even get a free upgrade Depends on how lucky I am lol

Sadly I experience the same thing, I could've sworn I saw a tip from HTC talking about noise cancellation somewhere in the accessibility menu. Darn I can't find it at the moment.
Anyway what Solves the issue for me is using headphones/earphones, Since most of the time when I am somewhere noisy( busy street or so) I am listening to music so when a phone comes in i just continue using my earphones or it which is quite good.
