[release]cwm recovery for goophone i5 v88 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys good news i have made cwm recovery for goophone i5 v88
download the attachments it contains mobile uncle tools and recovery.img
step 1-install mobile uncle tools
step 2-copy thre recovery.img to root of sdcard
step 3-open mobile uncle tools(ur phone must b rooted)
step 4-select recovery update
step 5-selest the recovery.img a warning message popups select ok thats it cwm recovery flashed
note- i think this recovery is also compatible for goophone i5s
i have problems uploding files to xda so download the files from the below link

HI!
i tryed to install the CWM posted here but the only thing that happened was that it locked me out from the stock boot recovery... now i cant even access the stock 3e recivery...it starts like normal and works like b4 but i cant get in to any boor recovery....factorymode still works but is not much help.....would be verry thankfull for any solutions

hey where did u brought ur phone from does ur phone have apple boot logo apple logo on the back of the phone do u have slide to unlock and slide to power off does ur phones resolution is 854*480 then please reply fast with ur all knowleg about the goophone i5 u have then i can help u to provide ur stock 3e recovery

i have slide to unlock and power of.. its the goophone i5 n2 with the retina display 960x 540 something mtk 6577 powe vr sgx 531 gpu..the apple logo is a switch on switch off setting... you call *#0066# and it changes the boot logo all in english.....they installed some english rom @ fastcardtech with the googleplay and contactsynk.... all works.... only bug is the volume rocker that you cant lower the volume when your listening to music in the back ground.... and the autorotate is kinda crappt.....downloaded a autorotate widget that makes it work just fine

the stock recovery was an 3e system recovery in english....factory mode still is accessable but not the systemrecovery as i mentioned earlyer

I also bought it from shenzen rois. I bricked it and then recovered it using the ROM given by rois. I have the same problems. I think I have the backup (made from original recovery) of old ROM with apple boot logo. I will upload and try to give you a link.:highfive:

hey where r u from i am from india i also have the stock rom link from shenzhen hai i also find the solution to change back the apple logo and bootanimation default when we flash stock rom the boot logo is mediatec bootanimation is android and slide to unlock and slide to power off is not present to switch to fully ios6 theme just dial *#8000# and u can switch to ios6 theme thanks for ur attitude i got my problem solved can u please tell me more about ur phone i want to know that our phones r same if u r from india call me 7736429794 i will upload a small youtube video of my goophone v88 i5

I hav got 32 gb version of this phone we both have the same phones.
1. Very bad battery life. it goes from full charge to 60% in 10 min. from 15% to shutdown it goes for hours.
2. IMEI problem solved using MTK droid tools.
3. whenever i charge the phone overnight the SD card(32 gb ) becomes unusable. I think the problem is with the lightning cable (very poor quality). Can we use original apple lightning cable with this phone? Even after flashing both internal storage and SD card 2 not working.

Cool, I've also bought mine from him. It will be great if you can post a link where I can download the Stock Rom; what is your experience about this phone?
Is there a custom Rom available for this Phone? (I am talking about the Goophone V88 I5)
Is it a really Goophone I5, or just a Clone of Goophone I5
I ask because my order has not been shipped yet. So I can still canceled it.

This phone has some minor problems especially the ones posted above. For me the storage problem is annoying. Hope i will solve it soon. I think its only me who have this problem

hey man it is acopy of goophone i5 but iam saying that withe the stock rom comming with the orginal goophone i5 is very crappy and no developers had developed a good custom rom for orginal goophone i5 yet with all that the goophone v88 i5 is far better than orginal goophone i5

i have opened the goophone v88 i5 there is a kingston class 4 32 gb memory card if u replace it by a good one u can solve the memory proble and also the battery inside the goophone v88 i5 is vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvery bad quality hope i will replace it wit a orginal iphone 5 battery

it will ship the phone today or tomorrow by hong kong post. about the life of the battery, what do you think if you install a battery original iphone? or two batteries in parallel? (in this case it will have to fit in the case)
Maybe the phone does not go into deep sleep mode; Check your build.prop for this line: " ro.mot.deep.sleep.supported=true" and also add these lines to add even more batt saving tweak
" ro.ril.power.collapse=1"
" pm.sleep_mode=1"
"ro.mot.eri.losalert.delay=1000"
after applied these tweak to build prop, restart your phone

You can replace the SD Card with a class 10 32Gb, and as I already say, changing the battery with an original Iphone 5, could be a solution.

3e is a stock recovery with few options with english language hey which country u r why iam asking is that free shipping is headache u cannot track the shippment the customs can easily seize the package and the package can be lost in my case i had selected dhl shipping

1-I am from Austria, it usually take 10 to 15 days when shipping by Hong Kong Post with tracking number.
2-Is there a possibility to make a backup with this 3e recovery? because if my phone comes before i do anything i will like to bacup the stock rom
