Hello to all!
I have managed to brick Fake Lenovo S660MAX (this model even does not exist at Lenovo). Of course I have no backups of rom, etc ... Phone screen is black, but windows still recognize phone (MTK USB port). I was searching internet A LOT, but can't find any rom for this phone ... Any other ROM I tried, I get DRAM error in Flash Tools, can't format, can't do anything ... It is MTK6572 procesor , but seller advertised it as:

But this time I got on the left data:

I formatted device, it was successful and then I flashed device ... it switches on, but all white screen. Progress anyway ... But I guess it will be impossible to repair - as I searched all over and I cannot find right ROM ...

Look for jiake roms think its v5 or something

first one flashes ok, but I get white screen when powered on. Other two I cannot flash, because they're made for recovery flashing...

Search sites like geekbuying, for phones like jiake any phone with mtk6572 processor
You want a phone that looks as close to your phone as possible, you will find it
That's how I found mine,
Just look for phones that look like yours. Google is your friend , find firmwares for the phones you see.

I found on geek buying that MPIE S168 looks identical to my S660MAX ... but cannot find any ROMS ...
I found working ROM from JIAKE V10 ... but as I was afraid, there's hardware issue, same as it was with original ROM ... phone hangs after 10-20 seconds of use ...

Was happy too soon ... sound is not working with this rom ... searching and flashing all day, JIAKE V9 and V10 are only versions that loads system after flash - but no sound ... help!

It is already included in my roms try downloading the 3g version and extract the recovery.img
Goophone 4GS Won't Load Recovery
Hi, I own a Goophone 4GS. After running 4GS-REC-ROOT and rebooting pressing (+) button and power button to open Chinese recovery, the device stays on the apple logo. The only way to boot the phone up again is by pressing the button inside the headphone jack. This means that I can not install a new rom, because the device won't load recovery. Is there any way you can help please?

Well, I have purchased a Goophone 4s 3G from Lovebargaining (unfortunately before than the problems with this store were published. Its a model MC 605 CH, version 5.0.2, Kernel nº 2.6.35.7, IOS version [email protected]
I do not know if these numbers are relevant, just in case.
The phone seems to work fine, but... It has not Android Market, nor Web browser, so I can not connect to the web, nor sincronize with Google. Google play ask me to activate it, but I cannot find it in the phone.

Look at my tutorial on how to upgrade internal memory, as when you do it, it installs a new rom and a new recovery (http://anexonel.weebly.com/2/post/2012/03/soon.html)

download the attachments it contains mobile uncle tools and recovery.img
step 1-install mobile uncle tools
step 2-copy thre recovery.img to root of sdcard
step 3-open mobile uncle tools(ur phone must b rooted)
step 4-select recovery update
step 5-selest the recovery.img a warning message popups select ok thats it cwm recovery flashed
note- i think this recovery is also compatible for goophone i5s
i have problems uploding files to xda so download the files from the below link

i tryed to install the CWM posted here but the only thing that happened was that it locked me out from the stock boot recovery... now i cant even access the stock 3e recivery...it starts like normal and works like b4 but i cant get in to any boor recovery....factorymode still works but is not much help.....would be verry thankfull for any solutions

hey where did u brought ur phone from does ur phone have apple boot logo apple logo on the back of the phone do u have slide to unlock and slide to power off does ur phones resolution is 854*480 then please reply fast with ur all knowleg about the goophone i5 u have then i can help u to provide ur stock 3e recovery

i have slide to unlock and power of.. its the goophone i5 n2 with the retina display 960x 540 something mtk 6577 powe vr sgx 531 gpu..the apple logo is a switch on switch off setting... you call *#0066# and it changes the boot logo all in english.....they installed some english rom @ fastcardtech with the googleplay and contactsynk.... all works.... only bug is the volume rocker that you cant lower the volume when your listening to music in the back ground.... and the autorotate is kinda crappt.....downloaded a autorotate widget that makes it work just fine

the stock recovery was an 3e system recovery in english....factory mode still is accessable but not the systemrecovery as i mentioned earlyer

I also bought it from shenzen rois. I bricked it and then recovered it using the ROM given by rois. I have the same problems. I think I have the backup (made from original recovery) of old ROM with apple boot logo. I will upload and try to give you a link.:highfive:
hey where r u from i am from india i also have the stock rom link from shenzhen hai i also find the solution to change back the apple logo and bootanimation default when we flash stock rom the boot logo is mediatec bootanimation is android and slide to unlock and slide to power off is not present to switch to fully ios6 theme just dial *#8000# and u can switch to ios6 theme thanks for ur attitude i got my problem solved can u please tell me more about ur phone i want to know that our phones r same if u r from india call me 7736429794 i will upload a small youtube video of my goophone v88 i5

I hav got 32 gb version of this phone we both have the same phones.
1. Very bad battery life. it goes from full charge to 60% in 10 min. from 15% to shutdown it goes for hours.
2. IMEI problem solved using MTK droid tools.
3. whenever i charge the phone overnight the SD card(32 gb ) becomes unusable. I think the problem is with the lightning cable (very poor quality). Can we use original apple lightning cable with this phone? Even after flashing both internal storage and SD card 2 not working.

This phone has some minor problems especially the ones posted above. For me the storage problem is annoying. Hope i will solve it soon. I think its only me who have this problem
hey man it is acopy of goophone i5 but iam saying that withe the stock rom comming with the orginal goophone i5 is very crappy and no developers had developed a good custom rom for orginal goophone i5 yet with all that the goophone v88 i5 is far better than orginal goophone i5
i have opened the goophone v88 i5 there is a kingston class 4 32 gb memory card if u replace it by a good one u can solve the memory proble and also the battery inside the goophone v88 i5 is vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvery bad quality hope i will replace it wit a orginal iphone 5 battery

it will ship the phone today or tomorrow by hong kong post. about the life of the battery, what do you think if you install a battery original iphone? or two batteries in parallel? (in this case it will have to fit in the case)
Maybe the phone does not go into deep sleep mode; Check your build.prop for this line: " ro.mot.deep.sleep.supported=true" and also add these lines to add even more batt saving tweak
" ro.ril.power.collapse=1"
" pm.sleep_mode=1"
"ro.mot.eri.losalert.delay=1000"
after applied these tweak to build prop, restart your phone

You can replace the SD Card with a class 10 32Gb, and as I already say, changing the battery with an original Iphone 5, could be a solution.
it comes with stock 3e recovery i meant that to replace the bad battery with iphone5 battery

1-I am from Austria, it usually take 10 to 15 days when shipping by Hong Kong Post with tracking number.
2-Is there a possibility to make a backup with this 3e recovery? because if my phone comes before i do anything i will like to bacup the stock rom

it took 14 days to reach me via hk post with tracking number
Ok so my goophone is a i5c, model MD298ZP, but i cant find any rom for it, i already searched the whole internet, and this forums and i cant find it, already tried installing some other roms but they dont work either, already tried doing the Volume down+Power button, to do the wipe, the only things that apear to me are Item test and Reboot thats all... I have no idea what to do, my internet is mega slow even if i stand next to the modem, dont have any where to download apps, siri is in chinese, cant watch videos on youtube (when i click the video it only refreshes the page) and i have no idea what to do, i just want a full english rom with working features thats all... Please give me a hand here
I actually just got one of these myself, however, my guess would be that anything that is a clone from asia, and has very few roots in the US, and is even kinda frowned upon, would most likely not have "much" support here in the US.
I did find a ROM for mine with English base on a asian forum, used Google Translate to try to understand the page enough to get the download, but, that's as far as I got.

I rooted this tablet... Everything was going fine until i changed the DPI and tablet crashed...
So i flashed with Phoenix Card (The flash tool) a wrong firmware and now I can't find the right one... I found a pseudo-working firmware but resolution is wrong (800x480) so the screen is buggy.
I searched a lot and I have found a firmware (It's on YaDisk but XDA doesn't let me post the link) that looks suitable for the tablet BUT... It's the only one that the tool doesn't flash! :crying:
Please... Can you help me in order to find a working firmware for my tablet? Thank you in advance!

Hey I also bought the same tab from tinydeal and root it, I tried to put Sony libs etc but it crashed, would be so good if someone has the firmware
And yeah if you buy new same tab then u can extract the firmware and make an impact of it, haha I also flashed a firmware and screen was buggy bcz of 800x480
By the way can you share the firmware you found with private message?
I can test and flash on mine if it does

That firmware is the only one that doesn't flash... Yes, that firmware should bring back to glory our tablet.
If I find again the link of the wrong resolution fw I'll post it here... But also if you find something please share it with me here

EDIT: i tested and i have same problem as u mentioned the screen offset is wrong also the camera orientation is wrong , its a software problem , but its at least nice to know you found a working software with working screen resolution thanks i will do a research now

great NEWS for you buddy i found a fully working firmware compatible with our tablets here is the link download and extract it after u extract delete the chinese letters and flash with phoenixsuite hope it will work for yyou haha it will take a while , first it will be full black it will boot after boot complete it will automatically reboot by it self and it will boot completly normal DDD hahahaa im so happy it working A33 7 Inch 1024x600 q8h v1.5

I used this firmware. everything works.
As its for Allwinner A33 (q8h-hd) than it doesn't matter what the brand name is

But, when i try to update to this firmware it goes almost half way, and doesn't move from there. i really need one.. :/ can you guys help me? All i know about my tablet:
It's 1024x600, original firmware astar_y3-eng 4.4.2 KVT49L 20151112 test-keys (can't find anywhere), and it is A33 and Q8H tab.

I know it has been some time, but can you locate the firmware you refer to above as "pseudo-working, but resolution is wrong (800x480)".
I have a tablet (ZYQ Qtab 704) with the same chip/board specifications, except it is 800x480 resolution, and I have been unable to find the correct firmware.
Any help is appreciated.

Noone has the official stock rom for full restore.
There is only the andorid rom in romanian huawei site for our model but I dont know how to cook the rom and inject the root files.
Otherwise everythibg else wl have the result of hard braking the device.
No one click or pc root...only if someone will cook the sd rom.
