Trust me it's safe, been doing this forever. It may fc though. I have no way of testing it. It works fine on the 2

Took like forever to open the first time. But then opened like normal.
Main page is black with white text. Comments are dark with white text.
All the group pages or search pages are still white with black text. The headers are dark.
Note: anyone who wants to test this, you need to uninstall your F/B app first. May save you a little time.

Sorry, yes you need to unistall your original one. The group pages are out of my controll. It all works though, right?

Thanks to untermensch. This is a port of his original mod for the Vibrant.
I updated the reboot options to work with DJ05. The first attachment is just the reboot mod. The second attachment includes both the reboot and accurate battery mods.
These will only work if you have DJ05 installed (you would know if you did).
Hahaha, I love how we have mods for DJ on XDA before the actual update. Just a Tad messed up.

Oh don't get me wrong, I understand why it hasn't been released yet. I just think it's a little messed to post all these themes and mods for something a lot of people don't have. It's like, "Here, have this spoon. It's made to go perfectly with Cap'n Crunch. Oh you don't have any CC? Damn, that sucks bro."

It's less than ideal. However, anyone who wants DJ05 can get it. They just have to go elsewhere to get it.

LOL. I feel like the heavy hint dropping on this forum pretty much guarantees that anyone who wants 05 can get it, but by making it slightly more difficult than clicking a link it takes out the stupidest 30%. By making those who want it go to the best place to get help, that further slims down the number of "I don't know what I did nor what I was doing, but my phone doesn't work right anymore and I can't be bothered to search for a fix" threads. The only other way I can think of to do the same thing would be to require people to use adb to install the update, so at least they learn some basic tool use in the process.
That being said, I'm still on 01 and have no intention of upgrading until I see a theme/ROM combo that I fall in love with.

Make a file labeled "enable_glass_lock" and place in data/local. Puzzle lock will available immediately thereafter.

I am kinda digging the analog style (for now anyways )
Also any way to increase the charging animations from 21 to 25 pngs like in the di01 mod? Preferably more but will settle for whatever until I get an opportunity to edit the xmls myself.

With the help of many from this thread and some people that i sent pm's to that took the time to help me out (waaaayyy to many to list)and some people that i kanged a few things from(mayfield's weather icons,eg&jeffs dialer, and a few icons here and there(cant remember where their all from, so if you see something that i "borrowed from you please tell me and i'll give proper credit).
I decided to release my first theme(so NO it's not prefect, yet), and there may be a few green items i missed, but here she is let me know what you think. Its based on warm 2.3 but should work on cleanrom 2.9 and up. screen shots below. As i learn more i'll update more and add more colors and icons.

*(you must make a theme(lower case) folder inside TRWP folder)

In the mean time, check if AppBrain has this functionality.
When I had my iphone (4 yrs ago) I had an app called "Appsniper". It watched apps I selected and alerted me of discounts.

How else is it going to notify you of the apps that are on sale? Can't do it if it is not running.
Since I have apple and android, I use a site call appaggie. I use the RSS feeds to alert me.

I'd rather the app notify me in the notification bar or just when I log in the app rather than it start at boot... many apps don't need to run at boot but still push notifications to you. Draw something the game for instance...

Yes I get your point. Maybe it is a funding issue. Using airpush or similiar if there is one may be an extra cost to the developer. Hopefully it is a route that more developers will use in the future.

I think most people, myself included, just didn't understand what you were asking. Your question was worded in a confusing manner and I can't speak for everyone, but I just don't know what this "frequent text" thing is. I don't see anything like that in the stock messaging app which is why I, and probably others, just couldn't help you.
All that being said, I don't think (most) people are necessarily being malicious in their sarcasm but just making a little joke so don't take it too personally.

Okay, now I see what you're taking about. I think I can safely say I never would have found that on my own. I think I can also safely say there is no way to remove that. It seems pretty embedded in the app but someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to figure out a way.

Also, I give credit to whoever made the vr-theme script. I have looked and looked for the creator, but i cannot find he/she. If anyone can tell me who made the script, I would appreciate it.
Simple: Custom transparent weather works for all TW ROMS
One is completely transparent and one is transparent with just the land.
You MUST be rooted. ROM/android version does not matter as long as it's TW based.
To install this mod download the files and put them in any folder on your ext sdcard. Boot into recovery (I prefer TWRP) and go to install (install zip from sd card for other recoveries) and find the zip file you want to flash.
SHOULD work with any ROM that is TW based. If you have any requests comment on here or send me a pm.
(Requests can be on anything just state what you want and be clear about it)

Gramsey I was using yours have not used the ops, but you can't base of he used your work on when he released it. Nitroglycerin33 released his transparent widget probably a month before yours (it was on his website) that didn't mean you kanged his work without credit, did you?

Well that's fine and if you notice I wasnt accusing you. I was actually using yours as I said. I was just pointing out timing is not any proof at all. Also you don't know if he knows what he's doing our not honestly is not a hard mod and there's guides in t mobile to change the background anything.
His timing is a little suspect, but then download his and check to see if it's yours or not. If it is he could get banned and at the minimum this thread would be closed.

Plus if you didn't notice I KEPT the outline of the clock so it it still has the gloss. yeah I definitely took your work. Okay bud. What ever you say I will however admit the script is not mine. It was glitchy to those who didn't follow directions...again after I made the zip there have been no issues ...read my threads for proof of that. I also don't like people to be shady about stuff either. Just ask yourself how it looks to me. I know my first install method caused what you classify as "glitchy" however my zip I posted fixed all that. Then bam here comes your thread. That looks sketchy to me. Just Saying

Well you can think of it what ever you want. I flashed yours and my date got fkked up. So what did I do? I used es file explorer and extracted accuweatherwidget.apk to my sdcard extracted the apk to get the contents and edited the rest files to be transparent. Mind that the only ly files being molded are the weather bg. Funny how I made mone way before your thread was posted. I tried many others and they didn't work. So calm your pants

Also I don't need your instructions. I know how to flash on any phone. Got hired to be a programmer through my school and learned everything again, you may be a decent, but making false accusations will make you a laughing stock and brand yourself as a cry baby blaming others trying to say we stole your work. I'm not Samsung and you're not Apple and I did not steal. Thank you

First your just showed your ignorance... Or lack of xda courtesy... When you post a mod you also post directions with the mod.
Second I am nobody's cry baby. I have been around xda for a long time and never been called anything. You right we are not apple or samsung.

should have been dead a long time ago. It should have never started. You should have pm me instead and I would prove to you I didn't steal. I know you always pay directions , I know that and I'm not ignorant. I'm glad yours works for others and maybe not some. But I know this will work for anyone because it does not replace the apk. Use the vrtheme script instead that way you can just edit the pngs.

Ok, so back to the mod... It looks great, but when I click on the clock, it goes to the weather. Is there a way to Ref enable this? I use it for my alarm, and really don't want put a clock app on my home screen. Not a huge deal, just wondering if I'm missing something. Thanks!
