hey
i have a xperia u rooted, bl unlocked on 6.1.1.B.1.54
i wanted to know if there is a solution to power consumtion errors for external pendrives...like if i could flash a custom kernel or smethn
my iball 8gb pendrive faces this error
also i found 1 solution but m nt sure if it works
(androidguyz) overcome the power consumption error via this shell trick
can some1 try it plzz coz i dnt have terminal emulator and plus m a bit a new to all this
thnxx in adv
works like a charm
terminal emulator is a free android app. download it from the play store.
Thereafter follow the instructions. Check for any typing errors if it doesn't work for you.
To exit type "exit" and hit enter. Do this 2 times and you are out of the emulator.
More importantly there is no fun if you don't try it yourself and wait for others to do it. Enjoy.

Have you enabled USB debugging on the phone itself?
Regards,
Dave
yes mate sorry i forgot to mention that didnt i lol
I also use Windows 7 64-bit, so have the same type of adb issues. To get around this, I use a Ubuntu (32-bit) VMWare machine that I wake up whenever I need to do adb things. Works like a charm.
guys i'm trying to do this multi touch thing on my x10 mini pro
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1064558
i'm a little confuse about the "shell" that he's talking about, can i ask you guys what's shell means? tnx...
guys pls help me on this
He means the terminal application or ADB.
do i have to install ADB on my phone?
tnx for your reply by the way..
i already studied the adb, but the prob is i can't access my phone via cmd why? can anybody help me or teach me pls
Just download the SDK, then go to installdir/platform-tools and launch ADB with "ADB.exe shell" (either from cmd/cygwin or create a shortcut). But if you've got Cyanogenmod, you've got a "Terminal" application right on your phone that can be used as well.

I have broken the lcd and touchscreen so I can not see the screen, in the other hand, in the installed rom ( Mar 28| Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Official JB 4.2.1) not work HDMI; I know that I can switch to another rom that works HDMI and connect it to the TV but it will be the last option because this way I learn something more of ADB.
I have access to ADB commands and with MyPhoneExplorer can I see what I'm screen. I instaled teh webkey apk but problem is that I can not boot apk webkey to fully control the Prime. I have keypad but do not know how I can do to put the focus on the webkey access and run it. I read about keyboard shortcuts in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21188997 but it does not work om my Prime.
I also tried to send webkey boot order through ADB command:
adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.android.webkey-1/.webkey-1Activity but not run webkey and any ADB error response..
Any idea?
Thanks
SOLVED
Solved, it was easier than I did so because I believed that the tablet PC would see not if Prime had connected to the keyboard and the keyboard USB port to PC but he have see the Prime and then from PhoneExplorer I could set Webkey moving the mouse from the keyboard and then config it and from the browser with no problems.
In the attached files you can see what I mean .....
I hope later to have lcd + touchscreen at a reasonable price to repair my Prime although one TF700 is on the way ......
I want to unlock my spreadtrum(tesveden t101) android phone.
Actually, phone is asking for gmail id and password which is done by try many patterns lock.
i tried by putiinggmail id but in vain.
And while i press VOL DOWN and POWER BUTTON. exclamation mark occurs as shown in attached picture.
USB Debugging is not on that is main disadvantage of it.
So ,i tried to use p2p adb tool by githib.
In this tools i tried it in backtrack r5 but in this os i am unable to add adb to $path by export command in terminal
this tool use adb in path which i can't able to add it.
then i use it in windows by using cygwin where it gives error to add busybox in PATH. But busybox is an apk app how it can be added to windows path.
Then i try to use this tool in another android phone and cracking by using otg cable.
But By installing busybox in unrooted new device of xperia m it wants permissions,so i install superuser, but it doesn't pop up in busybox app to give it permission, how can i configure superuser to give busybox permission to install its resources.
Now i fed up of this problem,Then i choose to take help from xda forum,
So here i am.

Hello,
This is my first time posting here, I did read the rules and looked for the info before posting but had no luck.
I recently installed two ShenZhen Coresmore Technology Co.LTD Coresmore Car Entertainment tablets (website: h t t p : / / w w w . coresmore . c o m /?page_id=838. I would like to root them so I can use the airdroid/airmirror app to control them from my phone, however all my rooting efforts have been unsuccessful.
I tried kingoroot app (and PC version), and framaroot but neither worked.
I also tried connecting directly to my PC, but the device is not detected. I contacted the manufacture and they told me that the usb port is host only. ( I could not find an device drivers on the manufactures website either).
There is an all in one connector coming out of the back of the tablet, but I could not find any adapters for it that would allow me to connect it to my computer.
The tablet also has a TF card slot, but I do not know if there is a root option that can take advantage of that.
Here is some more info about the tablet
android version 6.0
CPU: Quad-CoreCortex-A53 1.6Ghz
Ram: 2.0 GB
Flash Memory
8.00 GB
Kernel version
3.10.86

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,
first of all excuse me for my english. Learn english in school is centuries gone. I have the same problem with monitors and Android 8.1. I try to describe my way till yet:
1. Start monitor and do a factory reset in android settings
2. Connect to your wifi-network. Must be in the same network as your computer.
3. Open Google Play Store on the monitor and look for a app called "ssh helper" from Paul Lutus
4. Install and start the app. Notice ip-adress and port.
5. Install "Putty" on your computer
6. Open an SSH-session and connect to the monitor. In my case the credentials "admin/admin" or "root/admin" worked.
7. Connect an USB-Keyboard to the monitor.
8. In the "Putty"-shell type reboot bootmanager and press enter. The monitor should reboot and showing the bootmanager menu
9. Look for an option "show recovery logs" ore something similar
10. In the log you should find a line with content "adb connect" and a port
11. Download Android debug bridge on your computer and unzip in a folder. Use Google search to find it.
12. In the directory type "adb connect [ip-adress of monitor]:[port shown in log above]
13. Now you can use all Android ADB commands. If you use "adb shell" you will get a session via wifi. If you type "su" without any other letters, the commandline will switch from "$" to "#".
14. When you try "whoami" in the commandline, the session should answer with root.
15. Now you can remount folders or root folder with read/write permissions, change Ownership of files or folders, download, edit and upload files, e.g. init.rc. Try a Google search for all ADB-commands.
But be carefully...operations at a opened heart are dangerous.
