Keep all apps in one thread, instead of creating several threads.
Otherwise this will consider as spamming.

In my opinion also repeating what someone else says is spam especially if said comment was acknowledged.

Hopefully not with that attitude.
if you would give your thread a proper name and tell us what you want to do and what rom and kernel you use someone could probably help you but the way you did it, no.
Im sick of repeating myself, I have made numurous posts giving full info.
Im on revolution 2.0.0, kernal XXK14.
I want to know how do I go to System/Apps and look for odex files so see what the **** I am plus why nothing I install from the kitchen ever works...... Im fed up

and again I find my self at one of your abusive threads boy this is fun, you said your own a custom rom so why not here is a long shot go to the rom thread take a look and ask in there, and stop being a foul mouthed short tempered prick because frankly you may be making my evening quite fun but you aint going to get any help, and the problems you having with the kitchen maybe be something to do with you needing to be spoon fed information.
And no wear in this thread have you made "numerous" posts saying what rom you are on, except the one post you made after *****ing like a twat again.

What question? There's only one question; "What am I missing?".
A few braincells? Some manners? Some basic grammar? Self-control mechanisms?
Did I get it right? What did I win??

Taken from the Checkrom forum post I suggest you read about the rom you are using before making posts like this one again.
In regards to the kitchen make sure you are set to the correct server if its set to the old Revolution ROM 2.7.1 i would take a stab and say they wont work since they are built for XXKI3.
Also try removing cached packages from kitchen pro preferences.
Base XXKI4
Multi CSC
Deodexed
Zipaligned
no increasing ring for Phone.apk
resolv.conf added for faster gps lock
Much Improved an optimal Init.d scripts
Updated DK Engine for the upcoming kernel!
Tweaks to build.prop
JkayV12.1
Minor bug's fixed
smoothness to the core
Included libsqlite.so and libsqlite_ini.so from Android 2.3.7 (improves performance)
Included app_process and system_server from Android 2.3.7 (improves scrolling)
Included sqlite3
Maps.apk to v5.11 with global Navigation (ownhere/Brut.all)
added .salted_hash in sdcard/clockworkmod

Ics 4.0 ported keyboard (installable apk format)

I found this over in the i9100 forums (which is where i have been spending a lot of time lately trying to.find new tweaks, roms, themes, and apps)
Anyways it is a great keyboard, ported from ics by the guys in the i9100 themes and apps forums, so i take no credit for this as they did the work. Here is the link to the thread where it can be found and so you can can thank them if you like it. All u have to do is doeboad it and i stall it like you would install any other apk, and you are good to go.

Ok...why is there a warning "use of this keyboard will allow logging of passwords, credit card info, and other personal information"
If this is some type of method to gather info....why even bother to give a warning

I have no idea. I assume it is the same for most keyboard apk's?
I'm pretty sure its the fact that keyboards remember your information because swype always gave me the same warnings when using it in certain apps.

Lol, I already posted a link to this in a previous post.. smh.
does the touch to correct feature not work on this keyboard? or is it specific to the samsung stock keyboard?

Android User Account With separate files and data

i found this getting lost in YouTube,
there is a post of this in the fist page of the xda website, but i will post this in here hoping some developer see it and maybe finaly create the damn dualboot
with this app you can create different user account on your android device with proper apps, data, media and settings but the system remains same for all users (for moment i hope) so have fun!
here the link

This isn't Samsung support, it's XDA-developers. Have you contacted Samsung yet about your alleged AOKP issue?
Have you tried clearing cache and data for gallery and media storage? if you've not give that a try and then power off and back on.

Why the F777 should anyone be helpful its not a paid for service ..
If a user who knows the answer is online and has read your post and knows the answer you get a reply .
Your attitude is totally against what XDA Developers stands for .

It's funny you should say that, because I just had a quick glance through your post history expecting to find loads of posts where you helpfully assist others with their problems. But for some reason all I see is requests for help and spam posts in the development forums.
Just to finish off here, I don't use an AOKP ICS ROM and have no intention of flashing one just to find out what's going wrong for you.
Force stop and disable the Gallery app, move your .nomedia file to wherever you wish, then clear data and enable it again.
Hey please frnds don't get me wrong....
I'm 17 and an indian (very weak in english) sometimes i use wrong words which has dual meanings but don't think plz that i have bad attitude...

I've got another solution bro - put a .nomedia in the folder u wanna hide, then open gallery and open that perticular pic or vid and view it, the pic wud be shown but it won't become clear on zooming,
Try to zoom it and then press back
Now press menu and then press refresh, after sometime folder will vanish
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Or you can just rename the folder with the .nomedia file in my files app and the media scanner is doing a new scan and now wont show the nomedia-folder in gallery...
I'm not on a samsung rom...
No media scanner here bro !

Uh sorry aokp rom
htc sensation ics .nomedia stock
I too am having this problem on stock tmobile ics
All I ever had to do was copy the .nomedia file to a folder I wanted to block media files being found and then switch off and on the phone. The phone would then rescan itself for media files (obviously ignoring folder with the .nomedia file).

[request]port

Can anyone help me out! I need the complete action using dialog box of ics in jb,'coz for e.g. If I need to open a pic using, then I need to select album, then the just once option ,but in ics I have just select the app which I want to use just by clicking it.its not just only about pics, also about different type of files.I think it will be more handy for people having multiple apps installed for same tasks.
So can anyone port that dialog box please
