I have just downloaded this cool looking widget from google play called minimalistic text.... here is the link if ur interested- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.devmil.minimaltext&hl=en
i downloaded and installed it, when I open it from the app drawer it says "u need to add minimalistic widget to ur home screen..
when i got homescreen and go to add to homescreen page, I only see the default widgets in the widget list but no minimalistic widget....
so How can i add this 3rd party widget to the homescreen? pls help . I really want this widget , it looks so cool..
If you have installed Minimalistic Text properly, click and hold in your home screen and choose add widget (or any other way that you prefer to add a widget). Then look for Minimalistic Text there.. there are around 15 widgets under Minimalistic Text.. If you are in JB and you have the option too see your widgets in app drawer, then you can see them there are as well. If you cant see the widgets at all, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app again.. also try restarting your device...
that didn;t help.

Hi!
Im wondering why i cant place a 4x1 snowstorm widget on my home screen?
Its all empty but it says "there is no more space on this startpage" (translated)
Im using launcher pro för my menubar in the bottom.
He just downloaded the app to try out, it works fine on stock touchwiz. so id guess it is a launcher problem.
try loading TW and see if you can install it on that homescreen.
i dont have launcher pro installed but i would check its options for something like home screen grid and check that it is set to something like 4x4, a quick way to check if you dont want to dig though options is to see how many apps you can place on the home screen in a line, if it is only 3 then you know you are in a somethingx3 format.

Are you saying these icons are showing in the app launcher? Or in the respective widget/wallpaper menus?
They still appear in the Home Screen but .when I click them, they say "Application is not installed".
The 2 apps are downloaded from the Market but deleted later.
press and hold on the icons and drag them to the trash bin that shows up on the screen. voila!
Done!
Thanks a lot.
When I go to the widget screen to select a widget, I have to go through many screens before I find the one I want. The widget screen contains widgets I will never use.
Does anyone have any idea how to remove the unwanted widgets?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I have a widget which I want on all my screens, and so far the only way I can do that is by adding that widget 5 times, once for each screen.
I was wondering if there was a way to add that widget onto the dock so its always there.
So, how did you manage to add the widget on the dock?
Please advice...

On Nova Launcher I think you can add them, but it has to be a 1x1 widget. Same for Apex Pro.

Ok this may be quite late but in Apex Launcher Pro:
Get into "Apex Settings" then
"Advanced settings" then
"Widget settings" then
"Widgets in dock" then
tick the tick box then
drag and drop your chosen 1x1 widget from the home screen to the dock i.e. add one to you home screen first.
I removed the stock clock and downloaded digiat clock, and a few other ones. When I hold the home screen and choose the widget, it just opens the settings for that widget, does the same for android weather. How the hell do I actually get it to display on my home screen?!! I don't just want the icon there obviously

I don't own this phone yet, but from my experience with Jelly Bean on my current phone, you should find your widgets in the App Drawer.
