Hello I have a problem with the headset connector: no matter physically connected headphones or no phone shows that they are connected, and all of the audio files to be played on the phone go to the headset jack, but maybe, the headset is off, I can not hear anything. Maybe you can somehow disable the connector? Speaker as 100% because when I get a call through it audible ringtone. And the earpiece works too, (there is a glitch in the phone, if you go into diktovon, and then you go out of it, then all milodii played through the earpiece)
Maybe somewhere in the system that you want to delete?
Phone Samsung Galaxy ACE GT s5830 firmware acetyl CyanogenMod 10.1-20130224-nightky cooper S5830XXKPH
On the standard firmware same problems.
Excuse me for my english, I'm from Russia.

looks to me more of an hardware issue I'm afraid you might need to visit Samsung's Service Center
But please roll back to stock rom before you go there
If I go to a center ervisny Samsung, I can tell you that you need to put a new motherboard, but it is half the cost of the phone, can there are any programs that can test the phone for errors? (The phone has a separate module to the speaker and 3, 5 jack that connects to the motherboard, if I knew exactly what the problem is there, then it would go to the service center he would have changed it) (Jack was accidentally lodged DC 12 volt)

Ahh there you have it the 12V dc current would have made hell out if the audio circuit and don't be afraid they'll not replace the motherboard only the module you mentioned would be changed I guess it would be anything around $10 to $20 that's the only way to fix it
But if you are wanting then play music on your phone and give me logcat of that time I'll check for sotware issues

some do not understand, what is a logcat and where to get it?
You can get the logcat using android SDK.. it is a command under ADB to get the device logs.. Please find more details in the below link..
http://developer.android.com/tools/help/logcat.html
Here is my log, but so far out of logtsat, it will be enough?
Will see and tell

Sorry bro but you will have to replace the audio circuit the Logcats are clean

That is necessary to change the module QSP01? Or what else the elements?
Only the audio related parts need change I don't have the phone can't tell exactly what you need to change

I'm looking as well, but I'm afraid no kernel currently implements it
I have read that KF1 support it,
Can anyone confirm?
same problem... newest lite'ning rom.. KE3 Kernel.... for the Galaxy 1 exist a app in the market but it dosent work for the SGS2.

That is false because the purpose of the app is to redirect media audio to the dock. Call audio is not redirected as well.
KF1 supports it? I'm on KG6 (VillainRom) and I won't change to KF until pulser updates the ROM.
Can someone confirm that?
I am looking for the same solution for (official) car dock AND desktop dock. All sounds go through line-out except calls which is kind of a stupid oversight by Samsung.
What I'd like is option to have all audio through the 'line-out' of the official docks
Option to have FM work via the same
Option to have the phone operate like a radio alarm when in the desktop dock
1 question though. My phone died on me tonight and when I got back to the car I put it in my dock which made it turn on right away. I got to input my pin, then I saw it was charging but it switched off and restarted and kept on going (off->on for 15secs-> off).. I figured it was because it was running out of battery faster than it was charging it - ridiculous since I wasn't doing anything with the phone. So I had to unplug the car charger cable from the back of the dock, put it in my dead phone for 5mins then replug everything in again.
Samsung needs to look into that seriously...
Edit: I'm running 2.3.4 XXKG5 atm
Where can I place clarification request from Samsung to support phone calls into the Dock?
I will donate 25$ to the one that will make it work
Anyone else ?
Not sure about $25 but I'd donate a few dollars if someone can make the voice and radio be passed through the usb line out while using the existing apps.
Who knows how long it will take Samsung to implement a feature which I am surprised doesn't already work.
I have used my phone connected through the headphone output to my car stereo and made phone calls using the car speakers for the voice feedback and the internal phone mic for my voice. And it worked really well with no echoing at all which surprised me. I thought with the added volume through the speakers that feedback issue would occur but it didn't appear so. Maybe the secondary mi helps with the eco cancellation.
this problem still persists with XWKI4 stock rom. call audio outputs fine through the headphone jack on the phone itself, but refuses to route through the dock. with all of other audio going fine through usb, i'm inclined to think that it's a bug and can be fixed.
And the problem is also present in XWKI8...
I'd also be more than happy to donate to any dev prepared to look into getting the call audio rooted through the line out. I've been reading into it a little bit and apparently it is likely to be something that can be changed with a modded kernel. Unfortunately I have no developer experience and wouldn't even know where to start.

Hi there,
I bought the galaxy s2 2 weeks back..and the problem that I am facing is whenever i use headphones for the music, after like 10 secs my phone hangs for some reason! I even return the set to samsung service centre they change the entire motherboard and everything but the problem is still there!!
Please Advise!
Thanks
Hani
I have the same problem too...i have to remove the battery and set it up again for rebooting....
I have no idea how to fix that but i think it's a ROM bug and updating to ICS will solve the problem

try any third party applications and check problem remains or not...
eg : trail versions of Power Amp or Player Pro
What ROM are you using? Stock or a modded one and GB (gingerbread) or ICS (ice-cream sandwich). Because modded versions have different fixes for them to get things to run stable.
PS
What strikes me strange about your post is you said you brought this to a Samsung service center and they replaced your motherboard.
This implies it's not a ROM/software problem.
Did you buy a used phone? Also I don't know any official Samsung Centers that will replace the mobo for you. They usually replace the phone for some hardware problems like that (but it's possible I guess).
**Because if the service center replaced it, and you still have that problem, then they either didn't do a good job (because they should have tested it to work), or you have some bad ROM flash.

Yes they do well posted on XDA .

Thats probably true as well .
OP suggest wipe phone and flash stock GB rom to test .
Of course it could be your music is the problem .

I had the exactly same problem plus bunch of others which led to service trip.
Phone went to local service center and came back repaired, only to work for two days.
They changed the earphone jack and speaker modules on the first run.
Second time it had to be sended to service it had problems witn wifi and bt.
They changed mobo.
Third time proximity and lightsensors didn't work so they replaced the phone.
Last time my phone hung, the problem was my modded earphones.
I ripped the original samsung earbuds and replaced them with KOSS portapro's.
I had miss-soldered positive and negative on other earpiece... I changed the polarity, and now everything works.
Mysterious...
Thanks for the info JJEgan on the mobo replacements. I guess it's a region/location thing. I traverse mostly from Taiwan and Japan, and they just replace units with any hardware problems after they check it.
Back to the OP:
The music plays fine when earphones not plugged in right? I asked a friend who works at a service center here and he says it can be either the earphone jack is faulty or not connected properly (inside case), or maybe you didn't insert your earphones all the way (lol that's a stretch but never know).

Hello,
I have a major problem with my lower microphone (on the USB flex board), the microphone does not register much sound at all (very faint sounds are possible if you scream as loud as possible into the microphone directly).
I have replaced the USB flex board (properly, everything is connected correctly and the USB port works perfectly), but the microphone is exactly the same...
Anyone have any ideas? It seems a couple of people have similar issues, has anyone found a fix yet?
Also, does anyone perhaps have any ideas about how to force the top microphone (speaker phone mic) to engage as the active microphone during regular voice calls? I am 100% sick of using speaker phone for every voice call, especially considering I need to make private/confidential calls for work :\
and yes, I have removed the rubber housing as well and tested it without it, it makes zero difference.
Youve tried to repair it on rhe cheap and failed.Maybe take it to a repair shop and get it done properly.
And from your other thread, the spare one I have here has part no gt-i9100 rev2.2(so maybe the one you bought is still faulty )

So you've followed me to my thread because I made a post you didn't like in another thread, and offered complete shinfo.
Please, do not post again.
I am a fourth year EE student, I know how to replace a minor circuit board correctly.
Anyone who has any real advice, specifically about whether or not this may be some form of software issue, and with regards to my question about using the other microphone in voice calls, please let me know.
My mistake-I thought I was replying to a poster named Bodurr as he made a couple of threads about mic problems aswell.
He replaced the board and its still not working.
And I see what you mean about the other thread-I can assure you I never twigged it was you.
Anyway,if you require help, its advised to state what rom etc your running. That way someone could say "if your rooted make a nandroid backup then flash stock rom and see if problem persist".
Sent from my GT-I9100
I'm using rootbox ICS rom version 1.7, android 4.0.4 with siyah kernel v3.4.
Have made a nandroid backup and reflashed to stock a couple of times (including stock kernel and then CF root kernel) and nothing makes any difference.
The issue started whilst on gingerbread and has now carried on to ICS...
I'm seriously completely stumped and have no idea what is causing it :\
I've had a quick look and its advised to test using voice recorder to eliminate a hardware issue.
Other thing mentioned was to change audio values(but maybe need to be on GB to access and change values in the *#197328640# menu.
I don't know if you've done this already.

Just tested again with voice recorder (first time I have done this since swapping the USB flex board) and it's exactly the same issue.
There is SOME sound, but you need to have the volume on full with your ear right against the speaker to hear it, and it's still very faint like that.
What a bizarre issue, it seems no-one knows how to fix it either :\

experiencing exactly the same issue, replaced the USB flex and now have no microphone pickup on voice calls / voice recorder apps.
using ICS so not got the service mode audio options available (says BLOCKED)
don't know where I've gone wrong? maybe the part wasn't exactly right? I got it from here > http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251069751004
Heres someone that lists a seller and he says he has no problems.
Same here

Yeah, got the solution. It's actually the board/flex cable itself. Took me three boards to find that out. There is a lot of b-ware boards on eBay that were actually thrown out by Samsung because they did not pass QC. Just get a genuine spare part and your mic will be fine.

damn, i got the same then... its gonna be hard to get a proper board... I was thinking maybe, it had some kind of security by solder like lasers...
There's a little difference between 2.2 and 2.3, a single resistor, could it be?
Also, can't connect USB in Mass storage...

Hmm some people are saying 2.3 won't be compatible. Was your phone originally 2.2 or 2.3? Also how do I tell if it is genuine? If it says oem?
Why wouldn't it be compatible. A higher revision number usually suggests that something has been improved. BTW I initially had a 2.2 sub circuit board, now it's 2.3.
Well the new board should look like the old one. I think I took a picture the day I switched my board out. I'll try too find it later.

That seems really strange. May I please ask did you flash with odin or do you use something else? Are you using the default stock samsung rom or are you using a custom samsung rom? It may be a problem with the software, but I'm having a feeling that your headphone jack might be faulty (but i think its more to do with software). Try using a custom stock based rom like neatrom (by sale) if you haven't already used it yet.
Yes, i used odin and flashed stock rom

Then probably something wrong with the earphone jack. I can't really help with that since I never seen this kind of issue before. You will just need to find a workaround and stay with that for now.

But i changed the earphone jack, and still the same problem, so i just dont know if this is software or hardware problem
I think there's an issue with the jack connector on the motherboard. Look for shorts and/or dust.
In the meantime, use SoundAbout to fix the problem
