i am a noob and i need answers. i found how to quick root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671969 but i want to know if its safe, after rooting how i can unroot? and if i unroot i will keep warranty? and also if this is the only way to unlock sim! Cuz i just want to unlock sim !
PS!: I tried with GalaxSim Unlock but didnt work cuz no granted root access but maybe its another sim unlock method without root like android 4.1.1 method:
1.Open the phone app on your device and enter the following code in it:
*#197328640#
2.You will be presented with a menu. Go to ‘[1] UMTS’, then ‘[1] Debug Screen’, then ‘[8] Phone Control’, followed by ‘[6] Network Lock’, and finally, ‘Options’.
In the Options menu, select ‘[3] Perso SHA256 OFF’.
Now wait for about 30 seconds, and then press ‘Menu’ and select ‘Back’ to go back one step to the ‘[6] Network Lock’ screen.
Once there, select ‘[4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZE’.
Wait for around one minute, and reboot your device.

please use Google, it's all here

Only if you follow the remove root guide in full .
and also if this is the only way to unlock sim!
No pay your network to unlock or pay a service centre to unlock >> probably the best way for you to unlock . Or even try an unlock your phone forum .

Yea, it's same IMEI in everywhere.
Thanks
I suggest you to flash some ROM, i think it will remove any SIM Locks and so one. Find ROM on development forum for your phone.
You can get a Worldwide sony ericsson Unlock Code from imeicodes.co.uk this however takes about a week to get your code, so you need to be patient. The code will work fine aslong as you havent used up your tries to enter it (just like a nokia phone). It's a good idea to check your unlock code attempts before ordering a code by doing the following:
Press menu < < menu < menu menu <
Then you can check the counter [0 or 5].
If it says 0 then you cannot enter codes.
And STOP giving your IMEI on public sites!

Thanks. but, now im trying to install custom rom to my mobile.
Thanks again for infor
This http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888227is not ROM but tutorial on making new one. I'm using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059361 and it's very good. First you have to check if your Baseband Version is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 (Settings→Phone info (I don't remember how it exactly is in English). If not, you must use FlashTool to change it. Next, you have to root your device, install ClockWorkMod (xRecovery) and flash your new ROM.
I'm not sure if it will remove SIM Lock although it's worth of trying. Ask if you have any questions.
Sorry about my english if I wrote sth wrong

BIG thanks for Big Help. I'll try it and post here about my result. Thanks a lot guys again .
Good night. (3:25 AM here )
99% sure roms don't remove sim locks :<
Flashing a ROM has nothing to do with your SIM Lock. So no flashing will magically unlock your device. You need to get the proper unlock code, or have someone with a unlock dongle to do it.

Sure if you got more tries to use with correct unlock code you still can do that.
Else you can get it unlocked via dongle.
You can try and PM the guy in this thread:

Hi, you don't need to sim unlock your s3 to root it. Look for cf root 6.4, or cf auto root, or Samsung galaxy toolkit. Read up on these and choose your method.

[Q] Unblocking S2 after siyah instalation process

Dear All
I installed siyah and now i have CWM , Super user programm and some Utilities icons.
I would like to unblock the device do i need to use those application mentioned or i can jump to next process which is installaion of Galaxy s2 unlock from android market???
Regarding the CWM and Super user icons which are present on the phone do we need to use them for some reason???
Regards
Vinay
install the android unlock app from market.
Super user is the app which grants you permission to access the file structure of phone so you can unlock it.
cwm is updated recovery that comes with rooting of the phone allows deeper access the root of the phone.
In any case do not make any changes to these files unless phone downloads and update.

Hello
Yesterday i failed the unblocking process with diferent ways that are suggested by XDA also previously i uploaded to my S2 stock ROM taken by SAMOBILE and i did not succeded unblocking the device; i runed ROOT checker and i found out that root process was done incorrectly so maybe this is the reason that i did not succeed in unblocking process my question is :
a) should i try different stock ROM and do all process again?
b) i am using kernel : I9100XXLQ6 is this problematic ROM that makes rooting process difficult?
Best Regards
Vinay
Try flashing siyah again to gain root, steps in the thread ,,,,do search
What unblocking are you referring to? If you meant Sim unlock have you tried the chainfire's app yet?

I don`t know if removing the simlock is a reason to deny warranty (my guess ,and i`am sure for 99% it is not), it still remains a Samsung device and defects/faults should be covered by Samsung. You can unlock your phone here http://www.sammobile.com/unlock/ and it costes 15 euro`s i believe. Maybe there are free apps around, so google around and check Play and maybe there is be a way to do it for free.

Go Direct!!!
I had several phone's with Orange, the best way is to go direct! I know your contract has to be over (but that is probably why your here!)
They do charge £25 as an unlocking fee but you are guaranteed your unlocking code within a month. there are other options although it is always best to got to your carrier.
P.S if you switch to O2 they give you your unlocking code for free (even during your contract!!!)
Hope this helps,
Stevepork

Some SIM unlock methods do not survive the upgrade to JB. Not knowing the method, it is impossible to answer.
You can always use Galaxsim unlock (search XDA for free) to unlock the SIM once upgraded. It needs root though, but its free.

I would recommend upgrading to the very latest version for your region, yes. You need to get off ICS ASAP really.
If you're making a big leap to say, 4.1.2 (recommended) then you may be best preparing to do a factory reset. This of course wipes the internal SD card too. So just backup what you can before flashing a ROM. Even though you may not need to reset, it is best practice due to settings incompatabilities.
Then, IF you have become sim locked, you can quickly root using cf-auto root, run GalaxSim unlock and unroot again (using super use app).
