Here is a transparent accuweatherwidget 4x2
Working well on my phone after some adjustments to make it look good on S Advance
Note: if the default screen of 4x4 is change, to 4x5, sadly it squishes the app so things don't look quite right. this is made for standard 240 dpi.
Install with CWM or TWRP (mount system first).

As always I recommend you back up your original. I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong that could break your phone or make it go poof.
Hope you like it...
Looks cool! Thanks for your Work!!
If you don't mind then do try the same for Lockscreen (I meant the weather notification/widget on the lockscreen) :fingers-crossed:
Love your work. But if you could develop it for lockscreen, it would be Godlike

Working without mounting ! ..
But its taking 5x3 instead of 4x2.. on 4x2 the last update and next days forecast mix up and also it does not show full name on my state on 4x2
Because of 5x3, the last updated line has gone too down from the forecasts :/
Btw its awesome

yea it does get messed up if the default dpi for phone is different from 240... on roms with the 4x5 screen the 4x2 is not as deep as on standard 4x4 screen. would need to change a lot of stuff to make it fit LOL... maybe when I gots time..
Thank for this!
I missed it from GB
Is there a way to make the widget auto update location upon the hourly refresh?
I have the option selected, but it never refreshes the location, only the cities I have listed under "My Cities".

Yeah I know.
The problem is that even with the option turned on, the location doesn't refresh
Only by manually changing it...
Any ideas? Strange that it works on one phone and not on the other

I have data and Wi-Fi enabled 24/7, yet it only refreshes the location in my cities list.
When removing all cities, I receive the following picture in the widget:

I thought it was like the s3 AccuWeather widget that auto updates the weather according to your current location, without the need of telling it what cities I visit

Hey guys, did some searching and could not find the answer.
Im coming from a Motorola Milestone and just got the Evo 3D last night. On my milestone I used beautiful widgets as a 'Super Clock'. This app was able to get my current location and specify the weather accordingly. The stock clock widget on the Evo does not do this though. I have tried turning GPS, sync and everything else on, I have checked all settings I can find.
Is there anyway of syncing the stock clock/weather widget with my current location?
I like some features of the stock one, thats why I dont want to just use Beautiful Widgets.
Thanks guys,

I would say just make sure network location and GPS are turned on in settings, and then in acct/sync make sure weather is set to sync too.

What clock are you using,
Go to personalize then add widget, hit clocks and the first one should be weather clock.

As I said, I am using the Stock weather clock. All that shows up beside the weather is "Ontario" Yes I am in Ontario, but thats a pretty big place. I want it to sync to my GPS location.
click on the weather portion of the clock to bring up the forecast and such, the click your menu button, press add, then search for your specific city or area and it should gove you weather for that place you select.

A city is a city, and weather is an estimation, at best. It sounds like it is tracking you just fine. To get any better weather you will have to walk outside.
EDIT: could be a Canada thing too... Maybe it is limited by how far north you are.

The problem was it was focused on ONTARIO, that's a pretty huge estimation IMO.
A Canada thing? How north I am? I am more south then a good number of Americans. Dont think my Igloo stops GPS that much!
I got it to work after deleting the widget and adding it again then deleting all added cities and just leaving it over night, it finally synced with my location after about 8 hours.

Thanks for the advice. I checked both location and security settings along with the settings inside the APp of itself. It does refresh location but it's not close to where i currently am. I can look at google maps and it shows me almost exactly where i am but these two apps seem not to like my cities or areas.

Well the location information for Weather/Temperature is coming from AccuWeather. I two have had this mix of weather/temperature issue of different apps, ex accuweather is showing on location and temperature while weatherbug is showing a different location and temperature. Same has happened with my phone and fancy/beautiful widgets as while.

I have been in the android scene for just under a year (since the release of the skyrocket)
I have an icon in my system tray today that i have never seen before. I have not added any new apps in over 2 weeks so nothing is new.
I have AVAST antivirus on my phone and that corner is where i normally have an orange dot to show the AV is running. I went into avast to see if anything was different but all looks normal.
Anyone see this icon before?

no, but your clock icon and settings icon drive me nuts! you can get to settings with the menu button and the clock by clicking on the time on your widget. This would give you space for some different icons lol. Sorry, im a loser.

I'll be damned. Your right, that widget doesn't take you to the clock. Just about every other clock on the market does though when you click on the time. And weather if you click on it etc...
I use a widget like "One More Clock Widget" which allows you to set it to open any app depending on where you click.
Here is one of the skins that comes with it.

Does anyone know how to disable Omatefaces so that when I use Oclock the lockscreen doesn't show the Omatefaces? If I set lockscreen clockface with Oclock you still see the Omatefaces one. Looks a bit stupid seeing one clock face then a second one straight after.
Disable the lockscreen in system settings. Then you will only get Kurt Watchfaces.

Disable swipe to unlock as Loki suggested. You then only see Kurts watch faces.

On a related note, will the o'clock watchfaces ever get a 12 hour format for most of the watchfaces? Also have functional notification elements instead of static pictures? This as reaally a half ass job here.

I only want to see it whenever I turn on the omate. This is my weekly schedule. Would be nice if all clock & date & call log icons, and other stuff was on the top white line. But for beginning It's not critical. I just want to see my weekly schedule even if it gets obscured by clock arrows or anything else.
I have omate 8GB/1GB in Europe 2100. I have just flashed it with firmware TEST_RELEASE_Omate_2100_TrueSmart_20140314.zip

Can someone explain me where I can find the setting to disable the lockscreen/Slide to onluck? Can't seem to find it. I can only find the option where can choose between a few different analog and digital clock designs to put on the lockscreen.
Edit: Found it, so for future google searches:

I changed Slide to None but still seeing the default clock face before the Oclock face.
I have the 1/8 2100 version with OUI 2.1.

posted using my towelrooted Galaxy S5.
For some reason my colors changed on my Google search widget and I have no idea why or how to get it back to normal.
I have tried to reset it in the settings. I have changed it to different colors etc but nothing works. Not even deleting it and putting it back works.
The even stranger thing is that when I change the text from a "G" to "Google" that part shows the correct colors.
Anyone have similar problem and know how to fix it?

If you do not know what it means, and you set the device up, then it is stock. Try removing the widget, clearing googles cache, and re-adding.
Additionally, try turning on material you, saving, and then turning off.
Neither worked.
The funny thing is when i restart the phone it shows the correct colors but only for a second then it goes back to the "wrong" colors.
It's definitely something that happens with Googles latest update.
I reverted the google app back to it's standard version and it works without problem. As soon as i update the app to it's latest version the problem arrives.
Im not sure thou how to get rid of the problem with the latest version.
It's like the phone applies another color scheme for the widget (and only the widget) even thou i don't have anything set to do so.
