It has to be exactly this type: GooPhone i5 II Android 4.2 3G GPS Phone Quad Core 1.5GHz 4.0" IPS 1280*720 - Goophone-i5-V2
I need to refresh ROM in my Goophone i5 V2 (from deals prime). (It is MTK6577 and no MTK6589 type as they declare)
Do you have any backup (official, unofficial) of your ROM, please? The backup is to be made by MTK DROID TOOLS.
My ROM doesnt work...

I flashed my goophone I5V2 MTK6589 with smart phone flash tool with a I5 MTK 6577 rom because it look like to be one:cyclops:
I used an emmc scatter file. and i unfortunatly rewrited the PRELOADER, DSP_BL and RECOVERY files.
My phone boot now with a grey\black screen with a little music and a man who speak chinese 2 sec.
I think the rom don,t provide the good screen drivers.

Hi. I successfully rooted my SM OCTA using the Root Genius Application. You can Google it. You can also visit androidxda.com for tutorial and download of the tool.

Got the rooting no issue there but can't find and ROMs to upgrade to so rooting is useless. Searched and seached without any luck anyone got a link
hy. sorry if i put this in the wrong section and sorry for my bad english. i search on google but n answer. here is my probleme: i bought an Lenovo S860p smartphone (its a custom version of S860) . I cant find any way to root my device or to change the ROM , the dont apear on lenovo official site but its on sale.
