Hi can any Dev make a cwm flashable stock rom zip? Back to 1.8.3 . So we do not have to keep using rsd when we don't like or would like to change the rom. This might already be a work in progress I'm not sure. I for one would like to have one. Thank you devs for all of your hard work into getting this ATRIX phone unlocked and rooted

Can't you use CWM to do a nandroid backup/restore of 1.8.3? I thought you could but haven't tried it, so if anyone can confirm that would be nice.

Never even thought about doing that , sometimes the best answer is the simplest things. And yes if someone could please comfirm that this works , this would be much appreciated.
It does be sure to wipe everything before restoring 1.8.3 or it will boot loop. Wrong forum BTW.

Thank you jruweaver, and my apologies on not posting in the right forum.
And could someone post a link to a download for the cwm 1.8.3 AT&T stock rom for clockworkmod recovery.
i have looked maybe over looked, but now that we have the atrix rom on the dx2, will the cwm rom manager be applicable to our phone or is it still droid x2? i have the rom manager premium and when i open it up it asks what phone it is. any and all comments welcome. thanks for looking, hp

Tried it and it bricked my phone.. So don't get any ideas, again it needs to be ported because it works with the unlocked bootloader which we don't have and( The cwr version) it bricks you

so you're saying do not use it? jk, thanks guys i will not use it. don't want a brick. thanks again, hp
I will second that. Don't use rom manager. If you flash the recovery on rom manager you will soft brick your phone and have to sbf in rsd mode.
I know, I did that when I first got my phone.

EDIT2: Erm.. tried to boot into it, no go, my phone just boots up like normal.

ROM Manager now supports Droid X2 and Droid Bionic. You'll need to install @cvpcs's bootstrap first. Official bootstrap coming soon.
EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong fellas, but I think this is the only bootstrap CVPCS has made. I remember reading in a different thread that someone used it on the x2.

Fair enough, I'll give it a try, I don't mind having to SBF if anything goes wrong.
EDIT: Installed the Bionic Bootstrap, reflashed 5.0.2.3, stuck at the moto logo.

Let me know what happens man. I'm still stuck on the flashing screen for ROM Manager. I'm not afraid to SBF either. Lol...

Looks like I have to SBF. A factory reset in stock recovery didn't solve the problem, still stuck on the moto logo.
I recommend holding off on this until an official DX2 Bootstrap apk is released.

I tweeted Koush. Does anyone know of any other bootstrap cvpcs has released? I don't. Maybe everyone hold off though for a min, unless you're cool with SBFing.

Damn, I was just about to install too! Could it be an issue that we already had Tenfar's bootstrap installed?

Doubtful, when I tried it Tenfar's Bootstrap wasn't even installed on my phone, nor had it previously been installed (had done an SBF a week ago).

He also is not talking much in #koush on IRC. He said to use the dx2 bootstrap. He had thought CVPC had released one.

There is a ClockWorkMod recovery already... Everyone is waiting for the FXZ files, so when anyone bricks their razr it can be restored back to factory. Until then, not very many people will chance bricking their phones with no way to restore
We don't have an OFFICIAL recovery yet.
Edit: Just trollin through
how about now..
Well, I don't see the clockworkmod recovery yet. Thought I could at least flash that.

Developer HASH has a Safestrap Recovery for the new Droid Razr XT912. You can read about it here:
http://hash-of-codes.blogspot.com/p/how-to-safestrap.html
I have not taken the dive yet. Waiting for the SBF Fast Boot files to be release by Big Red or for a Verizon Employee to leak them -- either one would work for me --LOL.
Edit: I just saw that XDA has their own posting on this topic here:

Just a thought.. I think it would be better if supporting Rom Manager on RAZR as early as now than start porting after a custom ROM becomes available.. Like what the devs did with Clockworkmod even with a very minor issue. (Enters recovery every reboot.)

Hello,
I unlocked my ATT Atrix 4G, upgraded it to CM9 and then to CM10, but did not make a Nandroid backup of the original gingerbread 2.3.6 rom. I hoped that Motorola would upgrade the software to ICS, and so drivers would be released. However, I am now giving this phone to my son, and he uses Netflix, and games that do not work properly without the drivers. So, how do I return to the stock ATT rom? Thanks.
