* The UI is 100% ubuntu touch look alike but the holo and the blue colour of ics is retained which makes it look so elegant
* Access almost everything from our home screen
* Ubuntu boot animation (made by me) which is so simple yet so elegant, well thats ubuntu

* Over 300 non flashable icons for ur apps
* Completely revamped holo launcher (almost un recognizable) and its fast too considering all those widgets loads on the screen... it still works
really fast on hyperion. but u should follow my guide for that in the instructions post.
* The free version of the unity side launcher is included ( colour customizations are not available in free version... u can download the full version

* uccw and ubuntu widget theme of hdpi devices... but i have modded it to suite the resolution of galaxy y

*tip- set workspace grid to 5 columns and 6 rows

2.portrait bootanimation
Added upon someones request (made from scratch again )
Push it to system/media/here and set permissions to rw-r-r using root explorer and reboot
1.status bar mods
I have made different status bar modes
The mod only includes the status bar background pics and not the whole system UI.apk
So I kind of replaces just the require stuff like icon pack ...so don't worry if u have other modes in ur system UI ... flash off

INSTALLATION AND SETUP GUIDE
INSTALLATION
* download the zip file provided and extract it in your sdcard
* u will get 3 files
* boot into cwm
* wipe cashe (required)
* wipe data NOT REQUIRED
* go to mounts and storage and mount system
* now go back and hit install zip from sd
* first install the HOLO-UBUNTU theme.zip
* ONLY THEN install the ubuntu (faenza) icons flashable.zip
* ur phone will automatically reboot
SETUP GUIDE
It is necessary to follow these for best results
* after boot set my themed Holo launcher as default and remove all apps Widgets everything that u see on screen
*now go to luncher settings
And set the settings as shown in ss OBSERVE THEM CAREFULLY AND SET EXACTLY LIKE THAT (click on hide tag)
* now open unity launcher and do the setup as shown
* to add Ubuntu Widgets to your home screen which should be completely blank now with status bar hidden (its necessary to hide it inorder to fit the items perfectly in a 6×6 screen) long tap on screen and follow this
Now organise the Widgets and icons however u like
Ss from our users
* either keep landscape mode or portrait and not automatic... this makes the launcher faster as more cashing is there for just one mode...
*I prefer landscape mode so even if u prefer it u will have to disable screen lock
* do not move contents of the zip that are installed as system apps to SD ... this may reduce performance to some extant
* also disable check updates in the launcher options
* make sure u do not have Holo launcher or uccw installed on your phone before flashing the theme

Note that this is only tested on Hyperion 8 rom and u can also say its a theme for the same rom ... but it will work on all Roms... as lidroid parts and other stuff are not included....
U may or may not find black text on black in other roms. If u do find that bug in ur rom pleez report by uploading framework rez.apk of ur rom and I will see if I can fix it

3.In Gingersnap-LGp500 rom,no need to change anything-just run it for a while
3.Boot in CWM >install zip from SD & Install MangoX8 Rom Without any Wipe
4.On first Boot if u have problem with WP7Lock, Reboot one more time
5.Follow every step below & you will be fine
IMPORTANT THING TO DO AFTER FIRST BOOT IN MANGOX8(Do It by Step)
*The Rom will slow a bit at first start up and It will become fast & smooth after that.So be patient while do all these step
1.Activate Perfect Task Switcher as default & Home Key as key shortcut(wait a little bit until some icon at status bar appear before apply it)
2.Activate Laucher7 as default laucher(wait about 15 seconds before Create Tiles)
3.Enable back Home button functions by Spare Parts>End Button Behavior>Go to Home
4.Maximized Launcher7 performance by go to Settings>CM Settings>Performance>Check Lock home in memory And head back to Launcher7>menu>enable caching.But remember to update cache everytime u install a new apps or ur apps wont shown on drawer
5.Activate WP7 Notification & make sure to do it after enable back Home button function(Step #3)or u will stuck in the apps.
6.Google Play freeze by default,unfreeze it in Link2sd
7.Lastly, Change wallpaper to WP7 wallpaper as attached below

2.Go HERE,download & ectract the pack in one folder>copy to ur SD
2.In launcer7 Drawer, pick any apps that u want have tiles in homescreen by long pressed at apps icon>pin to homescreen
3.customised options will appear,

the forums have "original android development section " separately marked for original development
themed,tweaked roms i guess arnt a issue in normal development section

I think the theme will suite any screen size.no need to resizing.I download & install to my phone w/out any prob.

well it is based on .587 so propably it will work...take backup and try.
it would be nice to know if it worked ok if you test it...a lot of new roms my friend :laugh:

The diamond is not nowhere in the "setting" to change the subject.

The Icons my friend are not changed with the defaultthemes.apk so its not included.
I changed them on my own with apex launcher and its from my personal collection from various sources.
If you want tell me what you liked exactly and i ll give it to you

Oho....is it so?? after this post, i decompiled the defaultthemes.apk to search for the icon set.but it was not there...i think they must be included in framework-res.apk im using the Xperia Solar Launcher(by replacing the original home.apk) as secondary launchers slow down the phone.

don't stress tooo much about the size :good:
remember that sometimes it's the functionality that people want so they will wait the whole day to download 1.2GB if they have to

Iv seen alot of people want a JB 4.2.2 style Status Bar so I have tried to create one the best I can for other people to theme it and develop it further
Its not perfect but I dont have the time to fully develop it so iv taken it as far as in everything works and most of the layout is done
I have used the Smali and layouts provided by SpaceCaker and resized and changed the layout to fit Galaxy Y

Pull the left side down of the status bar for notifications
Pull the right side down of the status bar for sliders
Use the evo app by b16h22 to change the status bar colour and transparency
Install Instructions

have tried on galaxy duos with xduosv3 rom and work so far,but one issue,after enabling the theme i cant connect my duos via usb to my pc because in statusbar shows a buuton called settings and when i press to connect my sd the complete system ui crashs and doesnt run untill reboot,otherwise all is great so far.:good:

Worked fine when I tested it on 5360 but I'll double check later
maybe the USB smali file is different between the two phones
if you could upload the original SystemUI.apk from your rom zip I can make a test build for you with different smali

iv tested connecting usb to pc with my 5360 and it works as in screenshot - Although I cant take a screen shot with usb connected as the sd card is unavailable by clicking on the connect usb in notification area it brings up the screen to connect to usb
so it must either be a duos problem or the rom your using in combination with my statusbar
what I will do probably in the next few hours is change some smali and upload a test build to see if you can connect to your pc via usb mass storage with the changed smali

I have reported his site to the anti piracy organisations and now all his links to my work now dont work and will be monitered for any future breaches
Hopefully once the investigation has been compleated his site will be shut down

We can always use nova and i have readied calculator,gallery,exdialer,filemanager,2-3 worthymusic players(of course it isnt the actual aosp except calculator but we need something tht suits our device and well they are nicely themed).
I hv some updated gapps from L that hv some changes ready
(Many of these apps already in t3 rom v2)

the dialer app by me is better looking and faster
aosp lockscreen also from xposed is good
and hey the deskclock wont work on star it should give parse error while installing:laugh:

hmm From where I got to know about the Desk Clock app, The Page Said It Should work on Any Jellybean Device but hmm Never tried on my phone
Its for 4.2.2.
Btw Clock JB is a cool app.

If u mean that zip it will wrk on any sgs
I dont think thats an app for phone.
Odexed to deodexed is possible by many n many tools...
But u can always use a prerooted deodexed rom. It eases much of the job..
