Hello
I've recently flashed liquidsmooth 4.2.2 onto my samsung galaxy s3 and I'm having a hard time getting my lockscreen the way I like it. Right now I'm using the dashclock widget on my lockscreen and all my notifications appear underneath the time (as shown in the first picture) but I would like my notifications to the right of the time where the settings button would be (picture two)
Could someone please explain to me how I could get my lockscreen to picture two but other than having a email notification a text message one!
Thank you! Any help would be appreciated

it adjusts by the space at the 1st pic its 4*4 at the second 4*2
You mean adjust the order? In the extensions section the left, gray tab allows you to move your extensions up and down. Apart from that, you need a ROM that supports lock screen mods like maximize widgets option. Check your settings menu for a lock screen section. A post like this may also be better suited for the Q&A section in the future, more views and help I mean.

Hi all,
I added a nice wallpaper for my phone, but when i lock the phone my clock is displayed over the picture which doesn't look nice I want to remove my clock from lockscreen. Please let me know if someone knows about it.
Else, All together a nice app which locks screen with picture would be nice (like sliding the picture to unlock the screen) or picture BG in the lock screen ...(like windows 7)
any replies are greatly appreciated!
I am on Nexus S with CM 7.1 Stable. Adding my phone lockscreen screenshot for reference!
Looks like you're using cm7? If you are there is a setting to remove the clock from lockscreen. Goto settings > cm settings > lockscreen > widget options > widget layout > select hidden

Perfect!
XDA forums doesn't allow me to hit thanks more than once
Is there anyway to retain the original brightness in the lock screen? (the brightness of active screen) I feel that the picture will look more nice with brightness.
Anyway, I am very happy now. Thanks a ton buddy!
Goto settings > cm settings > lockscreen > style options > choose background(at very bottom) > custom image

thanks once again. But the maximum area i can select using that option is limited....i see the image distorted. Are there any recommended dimensions of the image?
What phone do you have? The size to crop your photo will be the size of your screen res. For instance I have a evo shift 4g and the screen size is 480 x 800. So make a seperate image to your size and use the new sized one for the lockscreen and that way the one you have for the wallpaper doesn't get distorted.

I have Nexus S. So, It'll be 800 x 480? Let me know if i am wrong. I'll try it now. Thanks
Yeah that should do it for you. Just resize on the computer then add the photo to the phone. Then select as lockscreen background.

Can I do this in PAC rom?
Is there a setting to do this in PAC rom?
I used to have CM and was so easy to turn off!
I know I could go though and ass blank text widget or get a lock screen app. But this is what roms are for!?
(Also should I post this somewhere else instead of this old thread :s)
Hi there. I have a galaxy s3 since a mounth or two and i have a contact that i call 20 or 25 time per day.
I want to know if there is a HACK or a MOD to integrate a direct call shortcut to the original lockscreen of the S3.
Thanks
I'm not sure about a hack/mod for the stock lock screen - someone else will hopefully clue you in about that.
Failing that though you could replace the stock lock screen with Widgetlocker which will allow you to add custom shortcuts and widgets (such as a direct dial widget for instance) to the lock screen.

I know this is old topic but Samsung did no changes to solve the problem. I wanted to keep original lock screen and be able to launch shortcuts from it, so I wrote an app for it. Application can be mapped with any shortcut, so when you press app icon it works like pressing shortcut icon. Unfortunately there is no possibility to change app icons, so I put launcher icons with different numbers on it.
Application is called Shortcut Launcher. You can download it from Google Play.
And if you don't want to install stuff, you could just add a call contact widget on the homescreen, you would still have to unlock it but it's some steps quicker
You can also use the ROM SlimBean, it has the option to add widgets to the lockscreen
Hi all
I recently got the Razr Maxx (GSM) and have updated it to ICS so long.
I noticed it has an icon on one of the homescreens for "Camcorder". I don't want to delete this icon, because I cannot find it anywhere (app drawer/widgets). How would I get this shortcut if I remove it? I know you can reach it via "Camera", but just wondering.
Also, there was a weather widget on the screen. I can find the widget in this widgets tab, but only for a larger weather widget which displays the city (but it is part of same app). The one already on the screen displays only the temperature and a weather icon (so it is smaller). This smaller widget is nowhere to be found, again I don't want to remove it until I know it can be replaced. Oh and it is not a resizable widget - so it's not just the larger one resized.
I know these are petty questions, but just wondering.
Any ideas?

try restarting the phone and see if it pops up, this is a known bug with the razr running ICS that I hope it will be fixed in JB
Thanks for the prompt reply! I did restart my phone earlier but still nothing. Scared to remove them.. Are other icons/widgets affected?

Finally flashed the ViperOne Rom last night!! I haven't had a lot of time to play around with it yet but I was able to enable the AOSP lockscreen; however, I'm only seeing a lock widget on the right hand side of the bubble. How do I add other shortcuts/widgets to the bubble like text messages, email, Pandora, etc. so it opens right to the app when I slide and unlock? It says Widgets are enabled in the settings but I'm not sure how to add them.
To add widgets, press and hold on the one visible widget near the top: probably a clock. That should expand the widget to full screen. Now swipe left to get to a new blank screen, with a plus in the middle. Click the plus to start adding a new widget. Widgets take a full screen when expanded.
I haven't yet figured out how to add shortcuts; let me know if you did!

Hello,
I want to show +- 10 upcoming agenda-items on my lockscreen. I tried to enlarge the standard lockscreenapp but it still shows 1 upcoming agenda item.
I installed other agendawidgets like Neat Calendar, but i can't make it my standard lockscreenwidget. I installed the widget, than i pressed and hold the widget, but when i moved to the left it only passed 2 other lockscreenwidgets but not the standard.
Does anyone know how I can make it possible that my first lockscreen shows more than one agenda-item.
Sorry for my bad English
Thanks in advance

If you're rooted install Xposed framework, then install Sense 6 Lockscreen Mods. After installation open Sense 6 Lockscreen Mods and enable "Always Maximize Widgets", "Hide Widget Frame Border", and "Remove Shawdow top/bottom" That should allow you to view widgets and agendas full screen like you could on your homescreen instead of just a section of them like on your lockscreen .
